I'm a little north of you outside Tsunan and I could not survive without my snow melting roof system. The old fella next to me knows it's time to clear his roof when the shoji don't slide cleanly, which is terrifying to me, but snow country folk are just built different I guess.
In Kagoshima the fire department trucks drive around and make announcements about kerosene heaters. When I lived in the city someone from the neighborhood association would walk around in the evening tapping two pieces of wood together announcing the same thing. Fire prevention and ventilation.
It works wonders. I think if it were in western countries it would need a longer handle for taller people. I haven’t seen it but I’ll add it to my list. I might learn some new techniques. Pow surfers and carving is popular. I’ll have to try it out this season
I hope you do a video of you taking snow off the roof, I'm curious about that. I've seen the train drivers do that and I thought it would be for them to make sure they're paying attention. When I first got my license I drove through a red light (playing with the radio), after that I started a habit to look at the green light, point to it and say out loud, "green", it's my way of making sure I'm doing the one job I'm meant to do. I do love these snow shovelling video's.
I live down the bottom of the mountain and it’s less snow here. The ski resort is at higher altitude but only 5 minutes away. Even though it’s just a short distance it’s another world of heavy snow. I got about 70cm today at my house. The ski area gets more. Also it only just started snowing last week. Ski season starts late December in my area
Honestly, if you could just walk around your house every day outside in the snow finding something to do and videoing it and showing us that would be fantastic
good idea to cover car with tarp. If u don't mind me giving my opinion I could enjoy your videos alot more if there was not that music all the time . House looks great !
Are snowblowers used? As it starts to snow again is it acceptable to start tossing the snow into the street or do you need to wait until the snow stops?
They are used but for my size land that I need to clear, my “need” for a snowblower is borderline in my opinion. I will probably rent an undercover space for about $30 a month for winter rather than spend $5000 on a snow blower. It might change in the future but that’s what I’m thinking for now
@@im.mattguy If it cuts your snow shoveling in half the $30 per month might be the best money you spend every month. I'm tired just watching you shoveling all that snow. I bet you just pass out for 12 hours. LOL!
always a great day when matt posts such videos! i wish i could binge watch again...
Frigid cold weather like I have without the snow is like having amazing relations without the final outcome❤
You could build a car port next to your house. 🌻
Thanks for the video❣️

Classic Japanese Scoop, can't get anything like them here!
You ever watch Life with Snow Yukioroshi? Guys working a couple stories up in 6' snow
PS Are there many Pow surfers there?

Next days snow 🤯I don’t think I’ve seen that much snow in 10 years here in NC,USA! 2:47
Another big clearing day. That was this morning and looks like it’s the same tomorrow 😅
The mountains don't look all that snow covered. Are the runs open?

They’re open from last week

I'll ask the question that needs to be asked. Why don't you just park in your garage Matt?
He has stated before that his van doesn’t actually fit. I think it was on the driveway making video
This. And my girlfriend parks there :)
@im.mattguy Of course silly me, you're a gentleman.
I’m disappointed you didn’t take your girlfriend with you on your trip. Oh well. Thanks for sharing the snow removal. I love it.
Thank you! I wish too! She’s in the peak of her work. We have plans for end of winter :)
I'm guessing the car doesn't fit in the garage 😊

We need to keep an eye on the snow reports and our property situation. E.g. If the roof is loaded, we need to get it off

For me, colloidal silver 500ppm quickly heals a cold sore.
maybe buy a snow blower lol, might save your back
妙高は水で雪を溶かさないの?
中越出身だけど家の周りの雪は全部水で溶かすので雪かきした事ありません。気温もそこまで低くないので凍結の心配もないです
You have do do another video in a weeks time after the 1.5m plus dump you guys are getting
Why don't you park your car inside the garage?
You need to buy an EGO snow blower asap
Do they handle a lot of deep snow?
@@im.mattguy You will be very happy, they have like 5 models to chose from.
Ive seen two separate Facebook posts about you and your $6,000 house the past two days
For the algo
Thank you ❤️😂
