HIT THE BELL & TELL A FRIEND ABOUT ME
🔥🌟🔥Gotta tell ya I been watching Jojo everyday,!! His Reactions are Fire! Especially his GNR Rabbit Hole!! He gonna rise hella fast!!!💕
🖤🖤🖤
*TOTALLY AGREE!!! 🖤🖤🖤*
💯💪🏾
1 question... Where is rus content? Should i wait for it or delete myself from Chanel?
He is a lot of fun to watch. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
She simply told the world what every woman thinks and feels when somebody messes them around. I was about 17 when this song released. She told all us teenage girls it was alright to be mad and told us, you go on now and express that anger now...
Dave Coulier dumping Alanis Morissette was the best thing to ever happen to '90s rock music 🤣
Hahaha! I was just thinking to myself that we need to thank that douche bag. Lmao
Can’t argue with that. Thanks Uncle Joey!
Cut it out
So true lol! Look at Adele and Sam Smith; both won Grammys for an album written right after their hearts were shattered. As a songwriter/musician myself, the best stuff comes from a place of pain.
@@JEBPsych yawn
Shes not crazy she is PISSED... "every time I scratch my nails down someone else's back I hope you feel it".. love it...
This is a revenge song.
She's kinda pissed off and crazy.
I'm in a divorce right now and this is totally my vibe at the moment. 😂😂😂🙈
@@wildlyawakened
Same to my husband that put me in jail on a Lie and just got out 5 hrs later
On a pr bond
He even told me that he knows the 911 operator
She's not crazy she is PISSED....my favorite comment hands down!! 😂
Alanis Morissette RAN THE F---ING WORLD when this album came out. Real sugar honey ice tea!! Evertime she released another single from this album... she just exploded bigger. This song, ironic, hand in my pocket.
Facts..
Jagged Little Pill won 2 Grammys.
Without a doubt.. she had one of the best drummers in history Taylor Hawkins RIP... flea on her tracks, and Dave Navarro on guitar ..that's a fucking all star team.
"Jagged Little Pill" was a controversial album when it released. Amazing album.
My parents hated it. Lmao 🤣
Yup!! It was the beginning of the 90s empowered baddass chick rock. Gawd, we screamed this song out the open windows in high school. Lol
Yes. I loved her so much! Still do
It came out when I was 14 or 15. Bought it right away and played it non-stop LOL Great album
@@jaimereynolds258 I think it was like 10/11
For Gen X women in the 90s - this was an anthem for so many of us. We FELT this song.
We had some incredible music! Jagged little pill was a C.D I listened to all the time. I was 14 when I went to her concert!! Great times!
I literally wore out my album!!!😂
Fun fact: when this was recorded, it had Dave Navarro (Janes Addiction/Red Hot Chilli Peppers) on guitar, Flea (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) on Bass, and Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) on Drums.
"Every time I scratch my nails down someone else's back I hope you feel it.." ouch lol. Best line.
This song was an anthem for pissed off women when it came out. My friends and I used to scream along to it in the car whenever it came on. Perfect break up song.
Ikr😂👍
Me too, this and Anouk: nobodys wife
Holy shit. Your face when you realized she was saying that. Priceless
“And every time I scratch my nails down someone else’s back I hope you feel it”🤘🔥Played the shit out of this after I found out about my ex! This is my shit! Thank you!!!!
Same, Girl. Same. This was my anthem while recovering from his abuse.
Same!!
Right there with you ladies!
My favorite line from this song. Me and my friends used to scream it.
Ditto!!!
I'll never get over the fact that this song is about Dave Coulier from Full House lol
Ikr🤣
Cut. It. out.✂️
@@wheresatari668 🤣🤣🤣
Uncle Joey slingin' D like a boss
@@dawest767 oma gawd🤣🤣🤣
This song was groundbreaking. And was an anthem for a specific kind of hurt; the lyrics are SATISFYING.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
That should be the tagline for "Jagged Little Pill"
My wife told me before we married
"When you become my husband, you may be the head of our Family but I'm the neck. If you're Honoring me like Christ expects you to, I will follow you for eternity. But if you ever dishonor me in contravention to Christ's expectations on a husband to his wife, I'll snap that head off the neck and go bowling with it"
She wasn't lying either. As long as my duties to her and our daughter are first before my rights, she treats me like I'm a King. If they're not... let's just say over time, I've learned not to try and put my rights before my duties.
@@peaknonsense2041 This. 🙌🏽
And no one is as shocked as a man who hears a woman say the word fuck! 😱
Said some man in the past while ignoring that every war and genocide that's taken place was done by a man, most every rape and sexual assault done by a man, most domestic violence done by a man, etc. Go figure.
The biggest coward of a man is to awaken the love of a woman without the intention of loving her.
Bob Marley
Her voice is Mezzo Soprano , and at 46 she can still reach back and grab that high note by the throat , she's a legend , and makes me proud to be Canadian
I just saw her with garbage and I cried when Alanis sang thank u. 😭 Alanis and Shirley were fucking fantastic!!
46 is not old. Look at Tina Turner
It's interesting. I've seen a bunch of reactions to this and almost all the men use the word "crazy" when describing this, whereas all the women use the words "angry," "pissed off," and "hurt."
And truth ;)
Which is weird as a woman, because i also relate to betrayal songs sung by men. Its genderless !
My fav line of this song has always been, "And every time you speak her name does she know how you told me you'd hold me until you die, 'til you die but you're still alive." I've always thought people say "I love you" far too easily, without really understanding the meaning, the implications of that little word.
I love your reaction to that specific lyric because that was everybody’s reaction when this song first came out. I remember when I first heard it back in the day. My friends and I were hanging out and we heard it and we were like oh damn
Just imagine. You’re shocked by this song. This song is over 25 years old. Try remembering life snd radio standards in 1995 and you will appreciate this album even more. Not ahead of it’s time. She made her own time and a new standard for women snd everyone to express themselves. No one was even close then.
Alanis played God in the movie Dogma, she only speaks a word just one ‘boop’ 😇
damn, beat me to it. It's obvious she is God from this song.
LOL Incredible movie.
Great movie, excellent casting
Having been born in 93 and having a family that loves Kevin Smith movies that was my introduction to her as a kid 🙃
Fun fact: Dogma is owned by Harvey Weinstein what is why you cant stream the movie anywhere.
Alanis gave pissed off women in the 90’s everywhere a voice.
Truth!!
Yeah they were everywhere Fiona Apple Meredith Brooks few others.
“have some responsibility with your stroke game because this is what happens....” Hilarious.
My favorite was when she performed this at the Grammys and completely switched it up. She made it a ballad with a full orchestra behind her and it worked so well. Now I gotta watch that lol
« I was expecting a pop song »
Hell no haha, she’s a rocker 😎🤘
This was a HUGE hit. The drummer at the time joined the Foo Fighters. Taylor Hawkins.
I gotta tell y'all that was the best reaction to Alanis Morrisette's "You Outa Know" by far!! Thanks Man✌️🇨🇦🤘😎 extremely good advice!! Peace and Love Man & to the Family ✌️🇨🇦🤘
“... you told me you’d hold me TIL you die
TIL you die
But you’re still alive “
Great song
Best line of the song "You said that you'd hold me until you died ...UNTIL YOU DIED....Well you are still alive!!!!
That whole album, Jagged little pill is epic. Alanis' powerful voice and the way she sings changed female music
Van actually blushed listening to this. Loved it! Keep smiling! She is dope as hell and was pissed. Written and sung perfectly.
Alanis keeps it REAL, and I love her for it.
This is off her Jagged Little Pill album. She’s one of a kind. I love this whole album, I think it’s her best personally.❤️
One the best albums of all time for real.
This was my jam back in the day purely for the rawness & relatability. Jagged Little Pill is a great Album from her. I loved your Reaction to this!! 🔥💜😉
She has so much emotion in her voice, I love this one.
Hahahaha was pleasantly surprised to see this pop up. 😊 Love this reaction 😆.
My hometown girl!! Alanis has one of the most iconic albums ever! Jagged Little Pill is still played in our house. She was my very first concert too. So good. Ahhhhhhh...memories!
This song is so fun to sing during karaoke lmao.
Your reaction brother is the same reaction everyone in the 90s had when they heard this song for the first time.
You should react to “Uninvited” by Alanis Morrisette
This! Such a beautiful song
Love that song. Such a different vibe.
Good on as well!
This song makes me cry. Every time.✌️🤓
Yes plz do live version it’s amazing☺️
All these men on TH-cam freaking out at the lyrics 🤣
This entire album is incredible. I’d love to see more Alanis reactions!
Yes! Mary Jane and Perfect, please!
Fully recommend the whole Jagged Little Pill album. Especially The Uninvited.
Every single Song is Most Excellent 🎸🥁🎶👍❗
Uninvited isn't from Jagged Little Pill, it's from the City of Angels movie soundtrack. But yes, both the album and the song are great.
👍😁
Also the dance song she did before this I think it was called Too hot.
That entire album Jagged Little Pill was fire.
Alanis is an Amazing lyricist, her cathartic, cutting, prose is her hallmark. Anything from that album is amazing. I love her more recent Reasons I Drink. She also plays God in Dogma, my favorite movie she was in.
Yeah, she is a little crazy. I think you missed the line where she said "You look very well. Things seem peaceful. I'm not quite as well. I thought you should know." This is a good song for a bitter breakup. I may or may not have blasted it 24/7 for about a week one time. Other good songs of hers are Hand in My Pocket and Ironic.
Yep👍😍
I mean, thank God for us teen girls having Alanis songs to sing our hearts out to during angst teenage years 😆
@Bita Bishopp Good point. She is definitely in pain. Maybe fragile is a better word than crazy. She has that look like she's just on the edge.
You are obviously young. This song is pure feminine rage and it scared an entire generation of men. This song only gets bigger and more relevant as it ages...
Great reaction. I remember being in a store when she first landed and her album was playing. This track came on and she dropped the f bomb, you've never seen a shop assistant move so fast 😂
I had Jagged Little Pill playing on repeat for quite awhile when it came out. Whole album was great. We ALL survive breakups, it is part of life's process & personal growth. Painful? Yes indeed! But a learning experience that is necessary.
I think you’d love her song Thank You. Different style but beautiful.
And she’s naked🤪
My favorite of hers, because of why she made that song
Your reaction is EXACTLY how we all reacted the first time we heard it. We’re getting over the oral sex reference when we suddenly realize THIS SONG KILLS. And then comes verse two….
Yes, love Alanis!! Her whole Jagged Little Pill album was fire. Not a bad song on the whole thing. Can you do her song Ironic next? Great reaction!! 🙂
I love Alanis ♥️
👍
Alanis Morsette was my very first concert loved this song I was 13 and went with my aunt my mom was pissed when I came back with her tour merch a t-shirt with a huge 69 on the back that I actually wore to school 😜
This is a great one!! The entire album jagged little pill is fantastic! If you can believe it, this is about Joey (Dave Coulier) from the show Full House- They were in a relationship back in the day- I never would have seen them as a couple.. but to each their own- 🤷🏼♀️. Please do more of her! “Uninvited “, (for sure) Hand in my Pocket”, “Ironic” and more- She lets him have it!✌️
I was going through a divorce at the time this was popular....oh yes, it was my mantra!!!! You gotta do "Ironic"!!!!!
👍
Going through a divorce and I feel it 😂😂
Alanis Morissette - Canada's Sweetheart
Alanis was a great singer and songwriter, and a passionate performer! This whole album is really good. This song features Dave Navarro and Flea as well, and that's pretty sweet.
Don’t say “was”, she still is all those things and more.
@@tak1984 She may be, but I haven't listened to her newer stuff or watched her perform for a long time, so I can't comment on how she is now. I only know that she was.
@@aaronmurphy1485 Alanis was phenomenal! I saw her last month with Garbage. I cried 😭
@@onlyhappywhenitrains92 Awesome, I'm glad she's still doing her thing!
Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters on drums
And Flea from RHCP on bass.
HOLY SHIT!!! Did NOT know that. Fuuuuuck!!
And Dave Navarro on guitar
Alanis is one of the best female performers and song writer......hand in my pocket, and ironic are also great songs by her also uninvited is a great song
She initially wrote this for her ex. Ultimate girl power song. Don't mess with Alanis xxxx
Anthem!!! So... not crazy!! Truth!! Get it girl!! 🥰🎶🥰🎵🥰
Your reactions bring me so much joy! 😊
I look up to her so much it's like she was singing about my life
I've never looked at Full House the same after this song.
This was *the* album of 1995. You should check out Hand in My Pocket
The point that he promised to love her until he died and he's still alive! Gotta tell you that singing along to this is quite cathartic! And by the way, I'll give you some leeway since you're young.....one cannot put any kind of assumptions on a group of people. Women men black white etc. I'm an old lady and assholes are a common denominator of all people and so is beauty and grace. Nuff said! Thank you for sharing! 😽🎶
This was quintessential to my high school years...Listen to anything from her album Jagged Little Pill
Alanis was a very pop star in Canada before she hit with this which resonated around the world. This concert remains one of the best I've ever seen.
Lol, loved your reaction and she was one scorned woman!! That's a recipe for a woman to go crazy, if they set all happiness on one person, that probably wasn't worth it.
Some of the best pipes of the 90s, and great songwriting as well. Pretty much every song on this album was a hit. It was almost a curse, since there was no way to top that. There's a great documentary (same name as the album) about her start in this new incarnation up to where her fame really kicked in, with some amazing live performances.
Before this album, Alanis did do pop music. She fought hard to get this album made because she wanted a honest album. When it first came out, it was a phenomenon. She won a lot of awards for it.
Whoever suggested this song, thank you.
Yay!!! I Subscribed just bc you reaction to our Canadian Icon Alanis!!! Thanks so much Man!!! We are uncensored in Canada!! 😅 Shouts out from Nelly in Toronto Ontario, Peace & Love to the Family
Great your switching it up a bit ♥️
This song always had a unique sound, but when she sang it on the North Stage at Woodstock 94 on that 1.6 million watt sound system from Audio Analysts, it never sounded better! Hard to believe it's almost 30 years since I built that Stage
I must have listened to this song hundreds of times back in the day, and this is the first time I actually realize what the lyrics are.
This song was the gateway for other female artists at that time. She made it raw and beautiful
Best reaction ever to this song, and I've watched lots! Am going to check out the rest of your channel. Your face was priceless throughout!
If you have ever had your heart broken you go a little crazy ❤
Alanis is great! I remember buying this album when it came out. She Canadian, so when this single came out, it was number 1 on muchmusic countdown for quite some time!
And lets not forget she got her start on Nickelodeon "They can't do that on television" series side note I believe she was the first to ever be slimed on that show...lol .. don't quote me on that tho.
OMG I love that show! But was like a kiddy version of Saturday Night Live. But more predictably funny
I miss that show. And she was the first one slimed.
She definitely wasn’t the first one slimed. She was on the show in its later seasons during the late 80s. I think they changed the slime at one point so maybe she was the first slimed with the later version. The original slime was said to be an oatmeal mixture. They were definitely sliming cast members for “I don’t know” in the early 80s though.
This was ALL OVER the radio in the 90s, somewhat of a cleaned up version though.
Cleaned up, but we still screamed the lyrics :)
@@newgrl, yeah we did. 😂
Check out more Alanis, but also Fiona Apple, Sleep to Dream!!
Criminal ❤
Fiona Apple is amazing. Her first album was +A
I agree. Criminal.
Holy crap... I'm laughing my ass off at your reaction!! You funny :):) This song is from Alanis's album titled "Jagged Little Pill" and it's full of longing songs, fk you/fk off songs, and a search for stability songs after a painful breakup. It's crazy iconic. I remember loving every single single as they came out one after another and she just exploded. When you bought the album, it included a hidden track (now named "Forgive me", but back then I just called it the "Untitled track") where she sings a capella and gives voice to all of her crazy. It's never made it to any chart or anything, but it's quite amazing.
this is one of THE BIGGEST POP SONGS OF ALL TIME lol on one of the biggest pop albums of all time! Alanis does NOT hold back! lol
This tune is fire. The emotion is real. I'm no expert, but I wanna say Dave Navarro and Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers both played on this track. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. Almost this entire CD is amazing. It's called Jagged Little Pill.
You are correct about Flea and Dave Navarro.
I believe you are right, although I don't think the beloved drummer we see in the video actually recorded it at first...
You can hear Flea's signature bass
Half a stroke 😩🤣🤣🤣
Must be nice to have that problem lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@unkeymoo lmao DEAD
Lol!
I'm DYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that comment got me to sub! Haha!
Head Over Feet is my favorite. Ironic is also great. Also, we’re not all crazy and we fall in love with more than your “stroke game.” (Although I’ve fallen in love for stupider reasons and been temporarily crazy.)
Every time people tell me "Canadians are too nice" I redirect them to this video :-)
Well we are, but piss us off then you direct them to this song! 🤣🤣
Raw emotions with no pulling back. Brilliant!
Did you forget about me Mr Duplicity? Best lyric ever!
Written for the silly uncle on Full House, Dave Coulier.
Great take from a rock star on a scorned woman who doesn't feel like she got her, rightful, say when he left her and was drawn by a very personal experience. And I love the angst in her voice!
After all these years... I finally realize how real these works are.
damn.
The jagged little pill tour was my first concert brings back so many memories
Love her!!! Another good song from - "Ironic"
The Voice of a Warrior!!! Just raw vocal unbelievable!!! In a league of her own!!!
'She didn't say that, did she?' Oh, yes she did!
" in her defense" LMAO Keep digging that hole.
Yeah well I read some where that women are 7000 years more evoled then Man soooo!
Alanis is from my hometown and around 1991, when I was in Beaver scouts (Boyscouts for 6-8 yearolds) she came and sang a few songs infront of our troupe.
This song (and others) is about her failed relationship with Dave Coulier who you may remember as Joey from Full House.
Fun fact about You Oughta Know - the vocals used in the final mix of the song is the very first take that they recorded. It was just the demo they recorded to check levels, and the backing vocals hadn't even been recorded yet. She sang that shit acapella, and she fucking NAILED it.
