  • Hey loves,
    Welcome back to our channel. Are you like me and save all of your extra fabric because you hate to see it go to waste. Especially if you’ve tried my bonnet tutorial and you’re left with two huge circles in the middle of your fabric. If you’ve been undecided on what to do with your scrap fabric here is one of the best ways to recycle it.
    These scarfs can be used to lay edges, protect edges, hide edges, hide lace, etc. Leave a comment below or on my blog if you try this or if this video helped you in any kind of way. I love it when you guys reach out.
    As promised the link to my sewing machine can be found here as well as other helpful links:

    Hey so i tried this out loved the results there's one problem though when i iron the fabric its sticking down on my edges why is that happening ?

    • @AubrielleImpel
      @AubrielleImpel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey ❤️ I know it may be slightly hard to see but from 4:09-4:13 I am pushing the seams to the edge and then ironing it down. That could be the issue you are running into is not pushing the seams to the edge first.
      I use the same method when creating my bonnets maybe one of those tutorials could help as well.

    i have no idea how to use a sewing machine but i do know how to sew by hand. is it possible to do so by hand ?

    • @AubrielleImpel
      @AubrielleImpel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, yes you should be able to, but I recommend that you be really consistent with those hand stitches meaning don’t leave huge gaps in between them so that you won’t risk your stitches falling apart.

      Not sure if you are familiar with a cricut machine but check out this video th-cam.com/video/hcZbqDK5L9M/w-d-xo.html it shows you how to customize a bonnet with the same type of fabric I used in this video.
