I had a grand national that did the exact same thing the corvette is doing. It sat many years as well. Found the injectors were all half clogged. Once cleaned it ran perfectly
Sounds like a fuel issue. Could be with the fuel pressure regulator or the vacuum hoses running to is. On my 89 vette I have a bad coolant temp sensor but that just causes my fan to run all the time. Never had any issues with it shutting off. Car runs at 187 degrees and will sometimes creep up to 195
That E38 cranks healty, I would love to see it running and driving.

I remember watching someone work on an Aztec and it it interested me so I watched and came back again to see what was happening and I'm still here. I see a chance for someone to get one of these cars and start a TH-cam channel even if they don't have an automotive back ground. Just cleaning it up such as the Subaru or a simple run to the parts yard to get parts for it since we all love an auto wrecker trip even if we aren't doing it. Then as you said can will lift someone up to get their life going in the right direction. Wonderful video as always. Thank you.

That 7 series may be having issues with the petrol pump, hence the starting fluid being successful. With the smoke though, your guess is as good as mine...

Regarding the "clicking" noise on the Cayman....my money is on clicking FUEL INJECTORS. German cars are notorious for noisy fuel injectors. My 2004 SL 500 MB with only 52 K on the clock makes a click just like that on hard acceleration. My mechanic says it is nothing to worry about.

Randy on the Corvette check the Mass air flow sensor.
I think the air intake being apart and it doesn't look hooked up right with the mas air flow. I think once someone replaces those parts it will be good on that Subaru
Hello Randy. I think it was the Subaru. The 2006 Porsche Cayman S is a decent car. All of the other cars are decent.
That Mustang is absolutely awesome! I wouldn't ever sell it. I remember when it was built.
You should raffle the cars off. There is software out that would randomly pick subscribers. Give them 2 weeks to pick the car up. Fair to everyone. Physical Therapy for that shoulder injury. Surgery not always the solution. Keep the videos coming. Great content!!

Not sure if you saw my comment on the last C4 video, but the speedometer probably just needs new polarizing film. Look at it with polarized sunglasses the way it is now and you should be able to see the numbers.

I watch some of your videos and I like what you do. I was watching the video of you showing a bunch of cars that you said you lost 4k and anyway I seriously doubt you would be able to respond to me but if you happen to be able to sell a vehicle for around a grand, I would be interested. Only problem is I live in wv and I have a 2006 Buick that is on its last legs. I'm a truck driver with a family of 2 kids and a wife and I'm just desperate for a vehicle.
I'm not rich at all but I know I'm really reaching far here but hey, you never know what could happen.

The vet sounds like it's flooding out. Maybe the choke is staying closed on it. Step on the gas with full choke they will die most of the time and the miss will get progressively worse as they sit idling, that's my theory anyway. There is also a chance it's a heat sensor not reading correctly. I had one go bad in my truck and it was doing what yours is doing, but run fine when on the highway. Temp would not come up though in the engine, so the computer was telling it more fuel was needed, like for a cold engine.

The Corvette might have an idle switch on the throttle body, and it needs to be adjusted to switch once the throttle moves.

I think the BMW had a seized alternator, the smoke was the belt being dragged over the alt pulley, it stopped once it started as it overwhelmed it & freed it off. #PleaseChangeYourIntroMusic
