I just ordered the Galaxy Book 4 with Intel Core 7 150U, 16GB Ram, NVIDIA MX570 4GB, 512GB SSD and I bought a sorbent 8TB SSD to put in the 2nd m.2 slot. I owned the base i3 model for the galaxy book 3 so this will be a huge upgrade. Used educational discount and I picked mine up from UK for £950, and as a treat a 1TB S24 Ultra
THERE IS NOT FINGERPRINT UNLOCK HERE. Just bought this very same laptop and there is no fingerprint UNLOCK option here. As soon you go into Windows there is no Windows hello fingerprint compatible key. I even got in contact with Samsung and in this versión there is no fingerprint scanner.

It runs Excel well, i dont know what powerbi is though :o It's more than capable of running Windows regularly, so as long as you're not gaming or doing heavy workloads like video / graphical editing, it's fine :)

@harishsai8471 Oh damn then it should work yeah! Are you sure it's not just a bit dim while you're testing it? Try going to a darker area like a bathroom without lights, and turning on the backlight there. If it doesnt work, try restarting the laptop. If it still doesnt work, i would return it

Hmm for video editing you won't really find anything at this price, unless you're looking at the cheapest of gaming laptops (and maybe the M1 Macbook Air). For everything else CPU intensive this guy is pretty much the best option :)

Thank you! :) I wouldn't use it for video editing or anything GPU-intensive. Moving over clips in Premiere Pro is laggy, and not a nice experience. Lighter apps or CPU intensive apps will work perfectly fine though. im an IT student myself, and this could handle most things, since most things arent Gpu intensive

The standard Book4 has a plastic screen, while the Pro, 360 and Ultra have a glass display. The displays can crack on both, but the glass ones can break from the outside as well of course.
@@crimsontechyt The speakers are the one thing I'm not digging about it out of the box. Very low volume. But I have have never played a lot of music on my laptop so maybe I can overlook it. I do watch TH-cam often and the sound is just okay on this particular laptop. They definately need to improve the speakers on the next release.

Intel drivers are hit or miss with some games, so it *could* work, but i wouldn't bet on it. I wouldnt buy this laptop for gaming, but you could always try! :)

The RAM isn't user upgradeable, the SSD is. There's no big cons about it, expect for maybe the lack of a dGPU. I dont know what you mean by backup battery

Should I get an Intel Core Ultra 7 or Snapdragon X Elite laptop? I know battery life is important, but how much of a difference is there? Also, how different is the performance? Can the Snapdragon X Elite run simple games like Rocket League or Roblox since it's on ARM?
I did a review on the Surface Laptop 7 with an X Elite, and it still had incompatibility issues with lots of software... (it had framedrops in roblox) I would go for the Core Ultra 7, since the Windows translation layer still isn't that good yet, and you might run into software that you can't run
Hmm im not sure, it's been a while since I've used FLStudio... The CPU in here is fast, so as long as you get the 16GB RAM model, it should work nicely :)
I've seen mixed sources for this: other reviewers say that it has thunderbolt, but samsung doesnt list in anywhere on their website, and i cant reliably test it... :/

If you mean if this laptop is suited for coding, yes it it. I've tried running C, C++ and C# on it in Visual Studio / Studio code, and had no issues with it :)
Fun fact: the quick pair thing is actually a Windows feature. Any newer Galaxy Buds will show the connection popup on any Windows computer.

It looks the exact same as the displays on the 3, 2 and 1. Contrast isnt amazing, but i dont notice any IPS glow :)

Some country's markets do have backlights on them, but some dont... so i cant speak for that unfortunately 🥲
