Mr.Culver who started Culver’s lives in my small town in Wisconsin. Population of 1000 people. We all love Culver’s. Once a year they sell a “Curdburger,” it is one giant cheese curd patty on one of their burgers. They literally sell out so fast and the lines are crazy! I hope you do come to Wisconsin. What a treat it would be to be able to meet you two! 😊
I was dating a girl a few years ago and one day at her mom's house I saw a pic on the refrigerator labeled 'The Culver Sisters' so I asked and she said "oh those are my aunts." Turns out not related by blood, her uncle was married to one of them and divorced before they started the restaurant. So no free Culver's for us 🥲
Culver's was founded in 1984 by George, Ruth, Craig, and Lea Culver. George and Ruth Culver started their fast-food careers as the owners of an A&W on Phillips Boulevard in Sauk City, WI in 1961. They purchased another restaurant in 1968. Their son Craig worked for a local McDonald's right out of college in 1973. After selling the restaurants and quitting their jobs, they decided to open the first Culver's on July 18, 1984. In 1993, Culver's was still a small, local chain, with only 14 restaurants across southern Wisconsin. Culver's first restaurants outside Wisconsin opened in Buffalo, Minnesota in September 1995, their first outside the Midwest in Texas in 1998, and it just grew from there. Craig led the company from its inception until 2015.
Huh...I thought the first MN location was in Navarre... Buffalo must have just finished before Navarre, and both were being built around the same time? 🤷♂️
This place is consistently good. They have really expanded in the past several years and out of the Midwest, so many more can enjoy it. And they always have enough staff, and they clean clean clean instead of standing around. Make sure you have their fish fry too. Very VERY good.
Culver’s one of my favorite fast food places. Yes, they started in Wisconsin. Their ice cream is called custard. Some of the best. Their star food is the butter burger. Best known for butter burgers. As well as the cheese curds. Lots of people S. of Wisconsin do not know what are cheese curds. Chicken tenders are not their speciality. They do have a good fish sandwich.
I do like their fish. I would sometimes get a fish dinner. Prefer a double butter burger or a mushroom Swiss burger. A chocolate concrete mixer with mini m&m’s and Heath Bar mixed in. I moved so the nearest is sadly almost two hours away.
Living on the border - we (flat landers) do know about cheese. Then our county has cheese 'factories' plus we can drive over the border to get more. (Decatur Cheese in Brodhead has great cheese and pricing is also good-they are on line)
@@dougdidier511 Well, I am def going to have to come to Wisconsin. I lived in Florida at the time, so we didn't get the real thing. And if someone can bring it to the west half of the country, we'd be delighted!
If you are ever in Wisconsin, you have to visit a Supper Club, have an Old Fashioned and must eat at a tavern and have HANDBREADED DEEP FRIED CHEESE CURDS!!!! THE BEST!!!
Wait until Alessio finds out the origin of fried cheese curds! While Wisconsin and Quebec (where cheese curds are popular thanks to poutine which was created in the 1950s in rural Quebec) are both famous for cheese curds, cheese curds were first fried in ANCIENT ROME for a dessert called Globuli which consisted of dredging the curds in semolina flour, frying them in olive oil, then rolling them in honey. Romans liked ending their meals with something either nutty or cheesy. So yeah, fried cheese curds are ITALIAN! Boom Boom sauce is spicy because it's a mayo-based sauce with chili peppers, paprika, Dijon mustard, and garlic. The Ken's variety is made with Chile de árbol (between 15,000 and 30,000 Scoville units) from Mexico, but I like to add Thai chili sauce (up to 100K Scoville units) to my homemade batch.
I managed 2 Culver's restaurants for 15 years. The person that took your order should have asked you what you would like on your ButterBurger. I would have been down that persons throat for not asking a simple question. Im pissed that they werent trained to ask. 2, the fries are pretty good, you let them sit in the bag too long, and if you are going to do that, just ask for them extra crispy. They are so good!! Pretzel bites came out after I left Culver's so I dont know what they are like. I was trained at Culvers Corporate in Prairie du Salk Wisconsin. They are ButterBurgers because the buns are lightly buttered before being toasted.
I disagree that you should ask customers what they want on their if it is written on the menu board what it includes. I once ordered a Double Deluxe(well more than once) and the cashier asked what I wanted on it. I told her it's up on your board Double Deluxe, that's how I want it. It happened again at a different store. I said lets not make this complicated. You have a Double Deluxe with standard toppings. That is what I want. If I wanted it differently I would ask and probably be accommodated. I want to order, pay, get meal, eat. I do have to remind them if I want ketchup when ordering through Drive Thru. At least 1 dip/squeeze pack of Ketchup should be default when ordering fries. Ketchup is not important to me for fries if they are good fries. Culvers are decent, but sometimes I do like a little ketchup. Wendy's frequently ask if I want a single, double or triple. I am done with Wendy's. If I want something other than a single, I will say so. Five Guys defaults to a double. Want a single, have to let them know. I don't go there any more either.
@@johndavidson940 I agree with this. I'm not trying to sound flippant when I say this but I am an adult. I know how to order food. If I am unsure what something comes with as-is, I ask first etc. Otherwise I basically just state exactly what I want without anyone needing to ask me questions.
Yes, too bad you guys didn’t get more topping on your burger. I always ask for “everything” except lettuce and add grilled onions. They are pretty good! My grandkids could live on the cheese curds, but, being from Wisconsin, I’ve had much better fried cheese curds that are hand dipped and fried…heavenly!
Butter burger... You have to order it with "The Works," which is onion, pickle, mustard, & ketchup. No extra charge. The burgers are made to order with toppings how you like it! 😉
At Culvers they call it "Deluxe" to get the toppings, otherwise it's without. They come with a house mayo, no mustard or ketchup unless you specifically request it extra. At least that how they do it here in Wisconsin.
@@Captainchubbai worked there for 4 years when i was younger and the works is pickles ketchup mustard and onions. the deluxe is mayo pickles onions lettuce and tomatoes, and everything is a deluxe with ketchup and mustard
Culver's is a Wisconsin staple!! It's called a butter burger because either the bun or burger is cooked with butter on the flat top. You have to ask for the toppings on the burger. They are one of the best fast food restaurants because their stuff is pretty fresh and they are the only fast food place I will order a salad from. I like ranch but I don't like ranch with cheese curds, it does mask the flavor. For me, the top stuff from Culver's are the Custard, the Curds (I prefer the pretzel bits but curds are good) and the onion rings (no sauce needed!).
Best thing about Culver's is it's deep menu. There is great variety compared to most fast food places. The reuben melt is amazing and so is the pork loin sandwich. The corn dogs are tasty too. They also have pot roast and chop steak dinners that are really good. The cheese curds are about a 7 on the Curd scale. Not a bad representation, but you can get better ones around here. The Chicken Tenders are meh, but the sandwiches are pretty good actually. I like the spicy one. If you want the fish, eat it right away in the restaurant. It does not travel well at all and will get soggy. Obviously the fries are a waste of time when the onion rings are so good. Yours rings actually looked a little overcooked to me. These days Culver's isn't much more expensive than McDonalds and it is miles better. You can eat there every day for a week and not get bored.
the frozen onion ring u get at the supermarket here and thicc and taste bad.. imagine eating a 2 cm wide pale and badly pre fried onion. that one looked good
As a Wisconsin native, always love to see a reaction to Culver’s 😂 Also we don’t have “Boom Boom Sauce”… must be a Tennessee thing. Chicken tenders is definitely a pass. You can order the fries “extra crispy”, it makes ALL the difference. But I usually go for the onion rings. Butter burgers are made to order so choose whatever toppings you want or you can order a deluxe butter burger for all the toppings (cheese, tomato, lettuce, red onion, pickles, mayo, mustard, ketchup). It’s worth another visit after reviewing comments to make sure you’re ordering correctly 😂
Yes WI here too. Never heard of that sauce. These burgers are way better than shake shack. They should of went back to get what they ordered but those burgers are amazing
Thank goodness I was wondering if I missed something. I’m in northern Illinois about 6 miles from the Wisconsin border and I’ve never heard of boom boom sauce. I also am perplexed by America’s obsession with ranch dressing. It is definitely not my favorite thing.
Glad you said that because I'm a Sconni and never heard of boom boom sauce. Of course, I seldom go to Culver's, don't really like it, don't really ever eat fast food. 😀 But still.
We went to a restaurant and had fish, maybe Shrimp and had Boom/ Boom sauce. It was good but..spicy, also..,they sell Boom Boom sauce in the stores. We live in Colorado. Not sure other stores all over the U.S.
I live in Wisconsin. I was very thrown off by the culver's sauce and the boom boom sauce which I have never seen, heard or been told about at any Culvers in this state. So I am very curious. Freshest burgers around. And their cranberry bacon blue salad with no dressing and with grilled chicken is great. I'm glad you enjoyed. You have to order veggies and condiments on the burger. I beg you to try the burgers again. They have lemon ice in the summer that's good too. Yes Pepsi was their norm. But they have their own root beer. Lol I know you don't like root beer.
Ok, I'm only 4 1/2 minutes in, y'all, and Jessi, Alessio, your reactions SO FAR have made me decide I am going to try Culver's. I live in Rural Northeast Michigan, and we actually have one about an hour north of us in...,. Not exactly a city, but the closest you get to it in this area. I spent most of my life in Los Angeles, and a decade in Las Vegas, so I am more than hesitant to call Alpena a city. But yeah - you had me convinced midway through the cheese curds. Edit - got to the burger part. Alessio, as someone who gew up in states that has in & out burger establishments all over the place, the fact that you place it in your top 3, I officially 100% trust your opinion on food now.
From Wisconsin and yes we are known for our cheese curds! Highly recommend trying fried and not fried cheese curds if you ever come to our state. The best curds are often served at bars. It’s also called a butter burger because they put butter on the bun and grill it it before assembling the burger (so much better if you get it with cheese). The custard is also amazing because it’s typically made fresh each day. Love watching you guys!
Here in my little hometown of Shelbyville Tennessee we are not blessed with an abundance of restaurants. But alot of vape and title loan spots 😩😠🤮! But I discovered working at Dairy Queen 1986 senior high school that DQ uses frozen. But a classmate worked at Sonic and they make there's fresh....homerun!! Those Culvers sho did look mighty tasty there folks, lol!! Blessings y'all! MMM cheese curds.....I buy the cheese at the store and come home dredge in flour, dip in egg and dredge in panko and deep fry....yummmmm! Make cheese sticks the same with mozzarella sticks I cut from the block. Some here like it with a marinara dipping sauce!!
I love Culver’s. Would love to see a video of you both trying some of the other stuff on the menu. The dinners and sandwiches are really good as well as the salads.
Worked with Culver's for over 8 years, in at least 5 different locations (some just to help train). I will say there are so many things that can contribute to whether you have a good or bad visit. Like who is working, how long they've been working there, if they care about their job, etc. And while overall it is, or at least should be the same base for each location not everything is exactly the same. Like the UT and ID ones have fry sauce but the others can't sell it. I have no idea what boom boom sauce is, but that may be something specific to that location or area... And if you love the cheese curds, you have to try the Curderburger on national cheese curd day in October. It's the Culver's deluxe: mayo, pickle, onions, lettuce, tomato, beef patty, AND a giant cheese curd patty. They've done this 2 years now after posting it as an April fools joke and people were so mad it wasn't real. But you have to be there early, some locations sell out in under 2 hours! And they're called butter burgers because the buns are lightly buttered then toasted.
The bun is buttered, that's why it's called a butter burger. If you wanted the lettuce, tomato, etc., you have to order the Deluxe. Otherwise it will come plain. You can ask for any toppings you want, though. Yes, they were serving Pepsi products before. There has been a big uproar in Wisconsin over the change! But we love our cheesecurds. However, if you want to try the BEST Wisconsin cheesecurds, go to an A&W.
Wisconsinite here. I know you guys as well as others are just finding out about Culvers, but I have had a Culvers location in my hometown for approximately 23 years now, and it's not even one of the first 10 stores built. We love our deep fried cheese curds here, and what you will find out if you come here is that even though you gave those cheese curds 10/10, they aren't even the best cheese curds you can find in the state. They're not even close to the best cheese curds you can find. However given this is a fast food chain, they are pretty good quality for what the restaurant is. As far as the burger goes, you have to tell them what you want on it as far as toppings go. Some places will automatically put onion, lettuce, tomato, and pickles on the burgers, but at Culvers, you have to tell them what you want on it.
You should’ve gotten chocolate custard with Oreo, alternated bites between custard and cheese curds, dipped onion rings into the BBQ sauce, dipped the chicken into ranch and washed everything down with root beer. 😊💜
I would make sure you go again and try it with more on it. It clearly just got missed - I've never had that happen. Once you put some toppings on it, that helps. It's soooo good. I like it way more that in and out... granted I've had in and out once and Culver's many many times. It's a butter burger I believe because they actually toast the bun with the butter on the griddle.
I work at Culvers and can confirm it is really tasty food. I’m not just saying it because I work there either😂 Everything is cooked fresh to order and most, if not all of our dishes are customisable.
Love Culver's...butterburger with cheese, mustard pickle, onion....the best. Great ice cream...introduced to me by friend who disliked chain fast food years ago!!
As a former Employee at Culver's* in Taylor/Michigan, I would always recommend to Others Their Cheese Curds, the Batter-Dipped Fish Fillets, the famous Culver's* Custards, and surprisingly Their Chicken Cashew Salad with a side of both Blue Cheese and Ranch Dressing, along with Their Onion Rings! These Foods always delivered on the Flavor!
Always an authentic experience from you two! We’re enjoying everything you post from Ottawa, Canada. Ps: we also went through IVF with ICSI, unsuccessfully, but it only takes 1! Rooting for you!! Keep ‘em coming!! 😊
I'm from Wisconsin. Love that I can still get Culver's where I am at in North Carolina now. It's the best. If you think those cheese curds are good you need to visit Wisconsin. We have even better ones. BTW way better than ranch is to dip the curds into the Cheddar Sauce they have. Or even the Custard...I also want to say not getting their root beer was a mistake...forget the coke.
The cheese curds are amazing!! The butter burger needs to have the toppings, especially cheese! I always get the butter burger with everything except mayo and tomatoes (they cut them too thick). One of the best parts about Culver's is that it's freshly cooked. Just like Canes (the BEST tenders ❤️❤️❤️).
Cheese curds taste processed and nothing close served at the fairs. Not sure if people actually had real cheese curds because I hear so many people raving about it. The burger actually needs mayo and tomatoes with Swiss cheese and bacon for my preference.
Come see us in Wisconsin (only in summer tho)! Its called a butter burger cuz there's butter on the bun! I completely agree that the fries always taste like they need 1 more min in the fryer....they are best with the cheese sauce! CHEESE CURDS ARE LIFE HERE LOL
Culver's gets an 8.5/10 for fast food to me. The cheese curds are good and we definitely get them each time we go to Culver's, however Buffalo Wild Wings cheese curds are my #1! I always get Culver's chicken strips and a side of the cheese to dip them in. The broccoli and cheese soup is also nice, especially since I'm not a huge fries fan. Crinkle cut is decent if you like a crisper fry (These looked a little under cooked.). I like how they have a bigger selection than a lot of other fast food burger joints overall and their "ice cream" machine is never broken (McD 👀)! 🤣 I like how they have a lot of options for the concrete mixers too, maybe even better than DQ. (DQ food is meh, definitely just a snack place if you're getting anything other than ice cream. The ice cream cake at DQ is the best though!)
There aren't american restaurants in Italy, just some big chains shops like mc donald's and burger king. We have more of indipendent burger shops, but I don't know if they should be called american.
I've just realized you live at least in this video where I live....how interesting is that. The area has gotten a little overgrown from the town I grew up in. Fairly a new fan, and have been watching a lot of your shorts and videos. Looking forward to your next adventure. :)
I like the north Atlantic cod they sell and the Wisconsin patty melt. As a Midwesterner a patty melt has to be on rye, I could eat a double patty and no fry and I would be satisfied. The owners of Culver's use to run some A&W restaurants before they opened Culver's so their Root beers are really good too!
We do love our cheese here in WI! Glad you enjoyed the cheese curds! Go back and get a burger with everything and then rate it because I think you'll like it more. I like going there and for me, Hardees is my favorite, but Culvers is up there too, especially for the concrete mixers and cheese curds.
I go to Culver's fairly often. It is called a butter burger because the bun is buttered and then toasted. I think you wanted the Delux Butter Berger. I can agree that the chicken fingers are not that good. I am surprised you did not like the fries. Oni9n ringd anf pretzle bits are great too. Cheese curds are great. However, their custard is great. The best. And they have the absolute best cod fish. That is why I go there. The cod fish and their custard desserts. And I am from the home of Culver's. Great food. Way too expensive. But very good.
From Wisconsin here and live near the original Culver's location in Sauk City. We do not have boom boom sauce here, and we do not eat cheese curds with ranch sauce. If you eat the cheese curds, eat them plain or with ketchup. Get the fries extra crispy and dip them in the custard. Butter burgers are called that because the buns are toasted and buttered. I would recommend a retry. If you get chicken, don't get the tenders, get the broasted ckicken.
You guys should go to the Minnesota State Fair one year and try all the foods! Amazing cheese curds, mini donuts, deep fried candy bar on a stick, you'd have so much fun trying it all!
I used to eat almost all my food with ranch when I was a kid, which now sounds so gross because as an adult, I can’t stand ranch! 😂 we live in northern AZ (moved here almost 2 years ago) and there’s one here but we haven’t eaten at Culver’s yet. I’m so glad you guys do these videos, now I know *if* we ever eat there, I definitely won’t order the chicken tenders, burgers and probably not fries, CFA are my fave 😂
The 3 pc Cod Fish dinner is fantastic ! The fish is cunchy on the outside and white/flakey fish 😋 You get a choice of sides. I always get the cole slaw and fries. And it comes with a soft dinner roll. The tarter sauce isn't great, but you don't need to dip the cod pieces in that, they give you lemon to queeze on it.
I've got 4 kids who work at Culver's, I like to get caramel sauce for my pretzel bites. You can order your fries extra crispy if you prefer them that way.
Yes please go to the American steakhouse in Italy is it called the Speggetti Western?! 😄🤠 They have Domino's & KFC don't they? I lived in Okinawa Japan & they had a few more American restaurants like dunkin donuts, pizza hut (pizza with squid, octopus & seafood & Asian style pizza & nibblet corn plus the usual ones) Tony Roma's, KFC with salads that had nibblet corn in it, what was with the nibblets😆🌽🍕🥗 the military bases had a little more variety of different restaurants on them. But a steak dinner or a nice Japanese meal was cheaper than eating at an American restaurant like McDonald's or KFC was about 50-60$ for 2 adults back in the late 80s early 90's. Jessie's eyes looked like she wasn't feeling good hope u feel better Burger definitelyneeded cheese mayo- mustard ketchup or pickle. Has he tried Popeyes chicken sandwich or their shimp & biscuits, rice & beans etc.... 😍🩵🙏
My husband and I always hit up Culver’s whenever we’re in the states to visit my family. Our go-to order is the fish sandwich. Sooooo good. And of course cheese curds and onion rings.
Butter burgers are cooked in butter. And next time try the Cod fish sandwich or their fish and chips...it's amazing. I absolutely love Culver's. I go a few times a month. 👍🏻
Yes. Not sure why a person would say a butter burger is cooked in butter. This goes to show a person believes what they hear or what they create in their mind - no critical thinking. A butter burger has a buttered BUN. The burger is not cooked in butter.
I've never tried pretzel bites at Culver's, but I wonder if it would be good with a honey mustard sauce instead of cheese? P.S. Culver's burgers are not my favorite, but you definitely need to specify your condiments. They make the burgers fresh, so you get to choose what you want on it. Our Culver's offer grilled onions now (instead of just raw) and they're yummy that way. I usually have cheese, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, and grilled onions.
Culver's cheese curds are the best. Their concrete mixers are awesome. Their dinners, especially fish dinners, are really good. Good quality food, great taste, great customer service.
As a Wisconite, Culvers is probably one of my favorite fast food places and one of the few that I actually go to. Chickfila being the 2nd I would say their chicken tenders are ok, not something you would usually go for when you go there. Culvers is mainly Burgers and Fish Sandwiches. and of course the cheese curds. It should have something on it, you might need to retest it with the works. also their Sour dough melts are top notch. I would say Culvers is better than Whattaburger and In and Out imo.
You really did an injustice to Culver’s by rating that plain burger. Totally unfair.. you should have returned it and got a proper butter burger with toppings. Laziness! I have lost faith in your food reviews.
I’d love for Alessio to watch this little old Italian lady cook on her channel. Everything is homemade. Uses her own tomatoes and cans them for use in so many things. When making her marinara she uses chopped garlic and leaves it in. In other dishes she uses cloves and takes it out. Boon-A-Pettiti is her channel. Fantastic woman and looks like amazing food.
I did not have time to watch every minute of the video, but always fun to watch. One thing it looks like you overlooked was their root beer soda. If you like root beer, theirs is the best around here.
Getting your burger without the toppings you asked for at Culvers is very surprising. Culvers makes it to order, so you have to specify the toppings. It's a great burger.
my husband and I love this one!!! You allow us a laugh each day . We would love to see you try Gaucho Urbano Brazilian Steakhouse if you have one in your area. There's one in Pigeon Forge TN and The Melting Pot !! We've never been but have seen others do them but no channel is like yours haha.
You both are welcome to Wisconsin any time.... I'll treat you both to Culvers. I've never heard of Boo Boom sauce or Culvers sauce. I agree with the chicken tenders. I love the pretzel bites. Next time try the fries with Culvers tartar sauce.... YUM... It's a butter burger because they butter the buns. You need to order a deluxe to get all the toppings which are always very fresh... Their fish sandwiches are one of the best for fast food joints...
You guys! You missed out on both the fried shrimp AND the fried Cod! Best hot things on the menu!!! Order as fish sandwich, it’s the best fish sandwich in drive through, order a 2 or 3 piece platter with two sides (fries and curds) with plenty of tarter sauce and malt vinegar on the side. It’s a whole other greatness!
At culvers you have to specify which toppings you want. He didn't order any toppings If you don't you get it plain. Much better then in and out when you request what you want in it. But they are famous for their custard which is what the cobra is made of
Love Culver’s, one of Wisconsin’s best burgers 🍔 We have many good ones here, hope you guys try Culver’s double burger with everything on it, I’m sure you guys would love it, arrivederci, stai bene 😊
The reason why it took so long to get your food is because everything is made fresh. The cheese curds are made from Wisconsin cheddar cheese. The chicken tenders are whole tenderloins. That’s why they are so big. The pretzels are soft like an authentic German pretzel. The butterburgers are basic burgers. The Deluxe burger 🍔 comes with the lettuce and tomato. You did not order the burger with all the toppings.
Culvers has amazing concretes!! I wasn't very impressed by their burgers though...I think Steak n Shake has more flavorful ones. I haven't had their cheese curds so will have to try those next time we go! Which will probably be awhile since we rarely eat out. 😅 My inlaws took us back in December while visiting though. Cute video!!
Anything in America called boom-boom or bang-bang (like bang-bang shrimp) is spicy 😊 I am from Michigan and I think there are like, 3 Culver’s locations within a few miles of me, but I haven’t had it in many years. Cheese curds dipped in ranch are definitely the way to go for an occasional treat, calories and fat be damned. I feel like ranch is more of a Midwestern thing though. Im living in Boston and I have found that it is less prevalent in all of New England than it is back home, where I can get it as a sauce with nearly everything I order.
If y’all are ever going towards Cookeville, TN, you NEED to try Lazy Cow Creamery! They make their own ice cream and it’s the best!!! They also make their own sandwiches 🥪 😋
I just love you guys and these videos showing you try different places! I would have went in and told them the burger was wrong and they would have given you a new one. Those pretzels looked good and the onion rings

@@annek1226 Not that I heard. Was it recently? I would think that it would be big news around here if he had. I’ll check into it though. 😊

I discovered Culvers right before we moved from the south and I miss the custard ice cream! My hubs & son hated it but I was in love. Sadness now.
Custard is not Ice Cream. As a Wisconsin resident Culver's is ok, but it's commercialized. Kopps (which is only local) is the gold standard.

What?!! I've never heard of this in Roman food but that's awesome. Also, hats off to both Wisconsin & Quebec for their contribution to cheese.
Interesting
He’s French, why would he mind that?
Calm down Karen.
At least that how they do it here in Wisconsin.
yea, they got the most plain burger possible and comparing to in and out 😂
I love butter burgers, but I always get deluxe!
@@Captainchubbai worked there for 4 years when i was younger and the works is pickles ketchup mustard and onions. the deluxe is mayo pickles onions lettuce and tomatoes, and everything is a deluxe with ketchup and mustard
The team member taking your order should have been trained to ask what you want on your burger and be able to guide you
Culver's is a Wisconsin staple!!
Alessio on the onion rings: "This is the best kind I ever had. Healthy."
Iconic! ❤️
the frozen onion ring u get at the supermarket here and thicc and taste bad.. imagine eating a 2 cm wide pale and badly pre fried onion. that one looked good
As a Wisconsin native, always love to see a reaction to Culver’s 😂 Also we don’t have “Boom Boom Sauce”… must be a Tennessee thing.
Never heard of boom boom sauce.... been eating Culvers for years .. Their Sourdough melt is one I also like. Nothing like sourdough bread..
From Wisconsin, I live a few min away from the original culver. I'm so glad you enjoyed our cheese curd. 🧀
"Badabababaaaaa *I hated it."*
Alright that one had me laughing pretty hard.
I believe it was initially fried in butter or topped off with butter while cooking.
I highly doubt a&w have the best cheese curds. The best is always at any fairgrounds. Fast food never comes close by any means.
I was heart broken when I couldn't get a mt.dew with my butter burger anymore lol
Gotta have a double cheddar burger with the works, this deserves a redo!
Wisconsin man here: you need a butterburger that isn't plain!!!! Get it with ketchup, mayo and grilled onions! 🍔
Why do so many hot guys work at culvers?
I think you would love Wisconsin! Coming from Chicago, we believe that everything from Wisconsin is better, like all-natural and delicious
They have a good Atlantic Cod sandwich and I love their frozen custard plain no embellishments!
Love Culver's...butterburger with cheese, mustard pickle, onion....the best. Great ice cream...introduced to me by friend who disliked chain fast food years ago!!
Culver's is a favorite. The fish platter is really good. Huge, white fluffy filets. Their fries are also good.
I too like the cod fish dinner and noticed once a year for a brief time they have walleye.
The fried cod platter is one of the best fast food fish. Culver's is also known for their custards which they didn't go into.
Taylor didn't have boom boom sauce either, did they? That's my home store also.
Hey neighbor...I'm in Allen Park so very close. We go to the Taylor location about once every week or 2. Such a small world.
@@jeanetteschwenk9146 it really is. I'm in Rockwood lol
I am so happy! I love it when Alessio tastes American food!
Cheese curds with honey drizzled on them and bacon crumbles = chef's kiss
Always an authentic experience from you two! We’re enjoying everything you post from Ottawa, Canada. Ps: we also went through IVF with ICSI, unsuccessfully, but it only takes 1! Rooting for you!! Keep ‘em coming!! 😊
Thank you so much ❤️ we really appreciate this comment. We are wishing the best for you guys too
@@ThePasinis If you have any questions, feel free to ask. It’s quite an educational journey. Wishing you both nothing but success!
@@ThePasinisI call boom boom sauce snot sauce
I'm from Wisconsin. Love that I can still get Culver's where I am at in North Carolina now. It's the best. If you think those cheese curds are good you need to visit Wisconsin. We have even better ones. BTW way better than ranch is to dip the curds into the Cheddar Sauce they have. Or even the Custard...I also want to say not getting their root beer was a mistake...forget the coke.
I live in Wisconsin and there are SO MANY Culver’s here! My favorite is the Pretzel Bites with Cheese🥰
I love when Alessio says 'to me no coming' lol you feel that European palate.
I love Alessios judgement of food. I am going to Rome next month and excited to taste some GOOD food!
I love Culver’s. They always, every last person, kind and helpful
Can’t beat that good ole Culver’s Midwestern hospitality
Yes, please do the Western Steakhouse restaurant in Italy!🤠
Nice! From Wisconsin over here! Glad you like the fried cheese curds!!! We love them!
I love Wingstop's, cracker barrel's, and majority of house-made ranches. So different from the usual soybean oil based ones.
I second that. Jet’s Pizza has the best ranch, imo.
No kidding.. wingstop is fantastic.. definitely the best ranch
Takes a bite of onion ring and says HEALTHY! He must be a foreigner.
Would love to see American restaurants in Italy and the differences.
There aren't american restaurants in Italy, just some big chains shops like mc donald's and burger king. We have more of indipendent burger shops, but I don't know if they should be called american.
There aren't American restaurants in Italy unless you don't mean food chains.
Yum, Culver’s! Did you get their root beer? It is amazing!
You need to try their milkshakes! I also prefer cheese curds with marinara but I don't think every store has that.
We do love our cheese here in WI! Glad you enjoyed the cheese curds! Go back and get a burger with everything and then rate it because I think you'll like it more. I like going there and for me, Hardees is my favorite, but Culvers is up there too, especially for the concrete mixers and cheese curds.
I hope they still have the Culver's root beer! I really like it.
The cheese curds are the best, especially dipped in marinara sauce, similar to mozzarella sticks but WAY better!!
I almost down voted your post for not mentioning sweet martha's cookies. First stop every year.
Yep that burger is missing the lettuce tomatoes and onions it got judged wrong 😢
The 3 pc Cod Fish dinner is fantastic ! The fish is cunchy on the outside and white/flakey fish 😋
You get a choice of sides.
They have Domino's & KFC don't they?
Yes to Jessie & Alessio trying American "food" in Italy.
Also the Reuben Melt Sandwich is SO GOOD!! I love the fish dinner! They have a difficult flavor of concrete everyday!!
Have you tried Jollibee's chicken? Pretty good.
I wish i had a friend like your husband, he seems like you could take him anywhere and he would make it more fun
My husband and I always hit up Culver’s whenever we’re in the states to visit my family. Our go-to order is the fish sandwich. Sooooo good. And of course cheese curds and onion rings.
My go to at Culver’s is always the Reuben sandwich…soooo good!!
Midwestern Culver’s fans stand up!
Omg. Is there an "Olive Gargen" in Italy, if so, you gotta go there and try it!!!" :) It would be so funny. :)
Butter burgers are cooked in butter. And next time try the Cod fish sandwich or their fish and chips...it's amazing. I absolutely love Culver's. I go a few times a month. 👍🏻
No the bun are the only thing that has butter on it
Yes. Not sure why a person would say a butter burger is cooked in butter. This goes to show a person believes what they hear or what they create in their mind - no critical thinking.
A butter burger has a buttered BUN. The burger is not cooked in butter.
I really miss Culvers's fried chicken dinners. Those were SO GOOD!
Chickfila being the 2nd
I would say their chicken tenders are ok, not something you would usually go for when you go there.
Culvers is mainly Burgers and Fish Sandwiches.
and of course the cheese curds.
It should have something on it, you might need to retest it with the works.
also their Sour dough melts are top notch.
I would say Culvers is better than Whattaburger and In and Out imo.
As a German my heart always aches at anything pretzel 🥨
Yes! Please go the the Western Steak House in Italy. Sounds like fun.
You really did an injustice to Culver’s by rating that plain burger. Totally unfair.. you should have returned it and got a proper butter burger with toppings. Laziness! I have lost faith in your food reviews.
They are not gods. 😂😂😂😂 Every review is garbage.
I really enjoy watching your channel! Another good review Pasinis! Well done!
I am from Wisconsin. Please go! Nice people and good beer. Cheese curds are the best too.
Fortunate to have Culvers and Kwik Trip here in WI.
My favorite is the pumpkin mixer in late October early November. That with the cod sandwich basket...oh... im getting blessed.
Welcome to a Wisconsin classic. Glad you got to try it.
Love that place!!!! Pretzels and cheese are my fave :)
But they are famous for their custard which is what the cobra is made of
Wisconsin gang here! Glad you enjoyed the cheese curds 🤌🏻
Love Culver’s, one of Wisconsin’s best burgers 🍔 We have many good ones here, hope you guys try Culver’s double burger with everything on it, I’m sure you guys would love it, arrivederci, stai bene 😊
Everything at Culver's is great and allways fresh. Costly but fresh.
