- Come along with us as we try Culver’s for the first time. We visited the Georgetown, Kentucky location to try a ButterBurger. Culver's is a fast-casual restaurant chain known for its ButterBurgers, fresh frozen custard, and Wisconsin cheese curds. Founded in 1984 in Sauk City, Wisconsin, the chain emphasizes high-quality, made-to-order meals and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. the second burger was the way they should have cooked all the burgers. never had a bad burger in st. louis. so quality control is an issue at this location. hopefully they see this video. God bless.

The fish sandwich is delicious and the vanilla custard is the best flavor. Burgers are grilled in butter so tend to get a bit well done on the edges. I’ve never had one. I only order the fish.

I like crispy but that first burger was beyond crispy. David tried Carly's and said there was a huge difference between his and hers. I do think you would like their burgers. Everyone is talking about the fish sandwich and pot roast sandwich. So you know that will be on the list to try.

Those hard edges are due to the butter they grill it in...but in the future, when you visit Culvers, let them know you prefer not to have it overdone. I wish I had been with y'all! I adore the crispy edges! That frozen custard is soooo good!

We have a Culver's in Wake Forest. I am a real butter burger fan, and I love the cheese curds. I am glad you asked for a replacement that you enjoyed more. I want to try one of their salads.

You visited one of the fast food restaurants I've always wanted to go to. No Culver's anywhere around me, might have to take a foodie run to Ohio. I also want to make a pilgrimage to Shady Maple. After seeing your visit I can honestly say those burgers were cooked to well done, except David's bacon burger looked more appealing.Those onion rings were picture perfect. I knew right away from the looks on your faces that the burgers were overrated. I always heard the cheese curds hit the spot. On some other reviews of Culver's the fish was mentioned as top notch , and it was certainly eye appealing. Can't wait until the live feed on Monday ! God bless and keep up the good work 🇺🇸👏

After I got the second burger, I was pleased with the taste. It was juicy and delicious. But the first one was nothing to write home about. lol I will also say that the restaurant was very clean and the employees were very helpful.

I like Culvers burgers and fish. I had their side salad, broccoli, mashed potato and cole slaw. I mostly go to Culvers for the flavor of the day custard, it's sooo yummy!😀🍦

Their Crispy Chicken sandwich one of the best I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. The Pot Roast sandwich also very good. . The frozen custard is some of the best you’ll ever had.
Wow! I have had people recommending the fish sandwich and the pot roast sandwich in comments. I am a chicken eater, so I know I am going to have to try the chicken sandwich since you think it is one of the best you have had at a fast food restaurant. I thought the salads with the chicken looked tasty too. We enjoyed the frozen custard too.

I don't know how I didn't see this before now, but I am so glad you all got to try Culver's. I am glad that it ended up being an overall positive experience for you all, after the rough start.
My go-to is the mushroom-and-swiss, but I did deviate from that when we were at the one near Carowinds, because I wanted to try the cod fish sandwich. It was SUPERB!! Several people had recommended it to us. I like the cheese curds, but I think my favorite side is the pretzel bites dipped in cheese.
Anyway, great video, and I am glad y'all tried a Culver's.
We would definitely go back to a Culver’s. After the second burger was prepared it made all the difference. It was very juicy and had a good flavor.
We have had numerous people suggest the cod sandwich so we will definitely have to try that out.
We are leaving today from the outer banks. We came down here for 2 nights for a quick trip for our anniversary. Hope work hasn’t been too bad this week. It’s always hard going back after a long vacation.
@vafunseekers Yes, it was very hard going back. My body wasn't ready or rested up from our vacation...lol. I know that sounds funny, because vacation is when you're supposed to get a lot of rest and relaxation. We were on the go constantly.
Plus, it has to be so hot this week.

It’s probably been ten years since we have been to OBX. Would love to come back and spend some more time.
I love me some Culvers and thankfully have one close by. If you go to another Culvers one day their pot roast sandwich is something different (I mean, what other fast -food place has a pot roast sandwich) and delicious and if you like fish sandwiches you haven't had one until you've had one of their cod fish sandwiches - in a league of it's own!
We will definitely have to try both of those sandwiches. You are the second person to recommend them in less than 30 minutes. So I'm thinking we definitely will have to try those items. Thanks for watching and the suggestions.
They do their burger that way, The chocolate shakes and Onion Rings, a must have, I stop in Murfreesboro TN, always friendly, great food, the salads are wonderful. There pricey I thought, but good
We actually got a burger to go last night at a location in St. Augustine, Fl. We wanted to see how another location would be. The burgers were very juicy and they were not over done. I want to try the fish that everyone has recommended but we didn't have time for a video so we tried the butterburger again. It was great! You are right that they are pricey. But all fast food tends to be very pricey now. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

We ate at a Culver’s for the first time in Evansville, Indiana. We only lived there for a year and a half before moving to Tennessee. Every time we ate at Culver’s it was very good. I liked the butter burgers and I do like the edges crispy but not over cooked. Veronica liked the cod fish meal. The custard is good.
I think Culver’s is as good as Steak N Shake was before Covid as far as burgers go.
We lived in California for a while and it is hard to beat an IN N Out burger for quick service type of burger places.
We still need to try Pal’s burgers here in Tennessee.

We thought Culver's was good. Especially after I got the second burger. It was juicy and delicious. We have had other viewers suggest the fish too. So we will definitely need to try that on our next visit.
We used to have a Steak N Shake in our area but it went out of business several years ago.
We went to an In N Out Burger when we went out west a couple years ago. We actually were able to visit the original location in Baldwin Park, CA. They don't serve food there but there is another location near there to actually eat. The original is such a small little restaurant.
Definitely try out Pal's when you get a chance!
@@vafunseekers when I got out of the Marines in California I went to work for a company that delivered uniforms and towels to restaurants. I delivered to the IN N Outs in that area. I also serviced the headquarters of IN N OUT so I was able to meet the family that owns IN N OUT. Unfortunately the son Richie Died in a Plane crash later after we moved from that area. There was only 27 stores when I was serving IN N OUT. There is over 150 now even talking about coming to Tennessee.
Your experience at Culver's was quite interesting to me.
We have a Culver's just 2 block away. I have never been a fan of their burgers and no longer order them. I do LOVE their fish sandwich/dinner and especially the annual Walleye seasonal fish.
The onion rings are my favorite in town. Truth be told, sometimes I will order a family size and make that my dinner! (but only take
-out to bring home 😂)
There are so many other great things on the menu, too. Especially the sides.
The staff is the kindest and most helpful of any chain. You just can't go wrong at Culver's.

What a coincidence. My wife and I at at the one in Hickory, NC tonight an my burger was perfect. They are smash burgers so the edges are all but crispy. It's a different burger for sure. The meat is fresh, never frozen and their sourcing is local when possible and organic when possible. The fish sandwich is great too. I agree, the milkshake is out of this world. Their quality is excellent. I always enjoy your reviews!
The second burger I got is exactly how you described. Absolutely juicy and delicious. I was so glad I got another one so I could have a good experience. We will definitely be going back. We also ate at the one in Hickory, right after it opened. That is the closest one to us, as we live about 15 minutes from it.

While I live in the middle of nowhere in northern Michigan, there is actually a Culver's up here within a 30 minute drive.
The best burger is to get a double patty. Otherwise, I feel the bun-to-meat ratio is off.
Also, I like their fried shrimp, but there are not many places up here to even find fried shrimp, so maybe I'm just desperately missing shrimp when I say it's good. 🤔

I can see where the bun to meat ratio would be off with just a single patty. After receiving my second burger I was well pleased. Such a delicious and juicy burger. There were quite a few items on the menu we would like to try. So we will definitely go back. I felt that they took care of the situation without any issues. When you have an issue and you make someone aware of it and they handle it in a professional manner, that's all you can ask for. Things happen.
I also enjoy good shrimp, especially the peel and eat kind when they are seasoned properly. Appreciate your continued support! God Bless.

Caught it 20 minutes after it went live. I first encountered a Culvers in 2003 in Davenport, Iowa on my first cross-country drive. Since then, in Columbus, Ohio, Fort Mill, SC, St, George, Utah, Colorado Springs, CO, and Kannapolis, NC. During Lent, they have an excellent Walleye Fish sandwich. Not that their Cod Sandwich is any slouch. I always get the cheese curds and onion rings. I always order a custom "Butterburger" along with a Mushroom Swiss, One must at Culvers is their root beer as i's their own product. Culvers is one of my favorites! Great video, God Bless!

Great video guys! Culver’s are not created equally so please don’t base your opinion on this location. I’m from Louisville and friends with Barry that you did your review with. That’s how I found your channel. 😎. I’ve ate at many Culver’s and the best one I’ve ate at is in a small town called Corydon, Indiana. Next time you go to one you have to try their root beer!
It was actually a good experience overall after the correction of the overcooked burger. The staff was awesome, the restaurant was clean, and the food was good. Now if they had not corrected the issue with the burger then that would be a different story. lol We do plan to try other Culver's.

Those onion rings looked good. I also like whole onion slices and not minced onion. I have been to Culver's many times and have been pleased with the taste & quality of the food. 🍔🍟
David really enjoyed the onion rings. He gets onion rings so much we call him the onion ring connoisseur. lol After I got my burger situation taken care of we really enjoyed the food. We have never been to Culver’s - but we do keep seeing videos about it on TH-cam. The look of the burgers reminds us of Steak n Shake or Freddy’s if you are familiar with those places. But yeah, we would not enjoy a burger that was too crispy on the edges like two of the ones y’all received. Overall it sounds like a pretty good place. We will check it out whenever we pass one in our travels. Thanks for the review!

Now this is the first time I've ever heard of this place or at least the first time this has caught my attention! These burgers by the way they look kinda remind me of Steak n Shake! I used to love their food, their fries and shakes, have y'all ever tried Steak n Shake? We have been to Steak n Shake quite a bit throughout the years. They were also very reasonable on their food. I do think the burgers are better here (after they gave me the replacement burger). The cheese curds were also excellent. Apparently there is a pot roast and fish sandwich we need to try! I know you will be watching the debate later. Looking forward to seeing it.

glad they remade the burger and it tasted better. I knew carly was definately getting a strawberry milkshake. for some reason my sister likes only strawberry jelly. I would get the chocolate shake. about a week ago my sisters husband bought a large tub of ice cream and he made us a shake 3 nights in a row. the bill was cheap too. a few weeks ago my co worker bought me lunch and I drove to go get it at burger king for 3 people and the bill was alost 42 bucks and I didnt even buy a drink
That bill for 3 people at BK was high. Especially if you do not get a drink. When we travel we always have a cooler packed so we don't need a drink. That helps save some.

Try the cod fish dinner or cod fish sandwich next time. I saw Derrick and Shawnasi order the sandwiches on thier channel and I tried the dinner on the next visit. You get 2 thick pieces of cod on the dinner plate. I like the crispy edges but never had one overcooked. Glad you were given a remake on it.

It was not a problem. The employees were so nice and replaced the burger. The replacement burger was delicious. Other restaurants could take lessons from them on customer service.

My husband and I love Culver’s, but..he still thinks McDonald’s cheaply made cheese burgers are all that. I don’t think so. There so..many more delicious cheese burgers around town where we live.

Carley did not look too happy with that Burnt Burger lol. I wish she would have let Cindy get her another one so she could have at least enjoyed it? Those Burgers are supposed to be crispy around the edges but, they looked WAY OVERCOOKED!!!
She loved that milkshake so much that she was worried about replacing the burger .But she definitely wasn't a fan of the burger being overcooked. We have a Culver's here in Jacksonville. I have only tried the burgers and I think they are average and for the money I feel I can do better. Reading the comments it looks like I am in the minority so I think I will give them another chance. God Bless and safe travels.
My replacement burger was outstanding. I'm constantly having to think if something is reasonable because of all of the price increases. I can't get over the price of fast food these days. It used to be fast food was cheaper but as we all know that is not the case anymore.
