I recorded my games for a day and analyzed the crap out of it, immediate improvement once I started being consciously aware of what I needed to work on. Immediately stopped pushing unnecessary fights, stopped engaging immediately after sniping, no running across wide open areas until I scouted EVERYTHING. Much more confident in my gameplay now
Ive been mulling about this as I plan to hire a coach. The coach will surely point out my bad decisions. Then I am forced to realize there is a better play. But right now the space among my good decisions is filled by "im not sure decisions" The I'm not sure decisions are not questioned to become better (via coach for example) but instead are forced away by my ego or laziness as in "let's see what happens" paired with " since i don't know the right play here, let's just do this next.." the thing is that ignorance is freeing right, as in I dont know any better so its ok if it doesnt work out. TL:DR - I run into gunshots without a good plan a lot. And I have 2k hours into this game and I'm pretty good. If anything ive noticed that the great players in this game have a plan for every scenario. I have a plan when I see an enemy.. sometimes.

Been using this ECHO system since I watched this video a couple of days ago and I'm not shitting you I've been winning twice the amount of games than usual. Even when my teammates have rage quit from getting themselves killed, squads are surprisingly much easier to take on this way! Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Its actually kind of ridiculous how right you are....This time last year I was solo queuing to diamond without an issue but then I stopped playing for probably 3-4 months (life happened). Came back to the game and I completely forgot about all of this stuff, been wondering for a while "What the hell am I doing wrong?" Naturally because I knew I was good enough to hit that diamond level of play solo I was pretty confident so I would end up just pushing everything, not stupid aggressive but not smart either I would push with cover but wouldnt really care about what they had or where they were because I knew I was going in with R99 Mastiff so I had to get in their faces to be effective with the shotgun. 2 years on, and still learning (or in some cases, relearning 😂) where my points of improvement are. I knew it was game sense, but I didnt realise it was stuff I already knew but just wasnt using. Thanks coach!
Same man, but I always find it refreshing too. Easier to focus on how I should be playing and pay attention. It has helped me to aim train during busy periods of my life so my mechanics aren't too rusty for a swift comeback. Enjoy getting back into it!

Also, there are games where my teammates don't really know what is going on, which makes me the "leader", and well making calls and decisions is not my strong suit. I do wanna also mention "sticking the ress !!" Thats what we do. AHA Love to have found a coach XD. Fr tho, I've already improved my game style and gameplay. Thank you !!

Yo Nihil, question. How do you get better at aiming in apex specifically? Its not that i have trouble with aiming but in some spots around the map, and trying to hit headshots it gets really hard to track and see the enemy. So i was wondering if youd have a tip on that.

He knows, the point he was making was the Push/Pull dynamic of shooting while the enemy reloads and taking cover while they shoot. The LSTAR was an example of a noted exeption because the LSTAR doesnt reload ever, and can constantly maintain bullet pressure on any position
