I own three of Tom's custom shoulder holsters. I ordered one, received it and was absolutely amazed at the quality. I then ordered two more. The 8 - 12 week wait is normal when you have a custom product like this made in America. The leather is second to none. Five stars across the board.
Weight distribution and comfort are the two biggest points to look for with a shoulder holster. Tom's shoulder holster systems are the best i've seen at that price point. A shoulder holster and actual gun belt are the first TWO items you need to buy - to start carrying your firearm efficiently.
Tom, just received my Weapons Education Shoulder Holster, I give it 10 stars , great addition to my carry systems. I ordered one like you show with desert eagle, perfectly fits my Ruger SR40C, snug and pulls easy, I ordered mine with horizontal mag pouch for 15 round mag. This holster is Pro quality unlike anything you could buy at big-box stores. I live in 9 month cold climate region and drive a lot so I am sure to get a lot of use. The dark chestnut leather is thick and looks great. THANKS
Got a crossbreed custom holster. Took forever, but was worth wait. AMAZING to see your last name written by hand in leather & having it fit better each time. 1911 holster is sweet, ill be in touch!
I have a Galco shoulder holder system for my S&W 686 .357 2.5" barrel. And another one for my Kimber .45 acp. ultra carry. Also, I have an ankle holsters for my Sig P238 and for my Bond derringer. Thank you so much for your great presentation.
I just now placed my order for a Pilot Shoulder Rig. My Kahr TP45 will think it is speial. Well, it actually is special. I love my Kahrs and that is why I ordered one of your holsters.
I bought the Calco shoulder holster horizontal set up for my Sig P226 .40 s&w. Love the way it carries. But looking at the difference between this set up compared to yours. Night and day! Your custom set up is gonna be my next purchase. Can't wait to have one. Tnx for this post.
God that chestnut color in the quick draw release holster with the red stitchin is my dream holster. i’m currently saving up money for that holster & because my whole life since childhood i’ve always wanted a shoulder holster but not as an adult having stomach surgery cancer some days I just don’t feel comfortable carrying my CCW especially while driving since most of my work days consist of driving so I can’t wait to place my order looking forward to my first real top quality holster from Weapons education
I am familiar with NLP, but I have learned to communicate from employing 3,000 plus people & thousands of speaking engagements. I own a financial planning firm.I have to keep my people employed & happy. Thanks
Thanks Tom for your help on the phone tonight. Pretty impressive to get a call on a Sunday night to verify and confirm my order! Look forward to seeing your holster product for my Wilson carry system in the next few weeks.... BT
Tom, awesome video my man! There are so many firearm vids but not too many vids about carrying. And that is just as important I think. I had to find out myself through trial and error until I found out what works for me. It was a shoulder rig also. Awesome channel as always Tom!!!
I'm still in shock at the level of custom work there is in the firearm world. I'm so used to mass produced alienating bullshit that this is like....water in a desert. Custom work. Real people. This is worth supporting, if only as a microcosm of how things used to be, and how they could be again..and how in some ways, like this, they still are.
The 2,000 plus customers are all amazed with the quality of the hand made leather. it is like we are in the 1800's again:) The process takes 8-10 weeks but the customer has a product for life, thanks
Since you did mention guns equipped with laser sights I wish you had said a little about them. I have several SIGS all equipped with Viridian ECR systems - finding a holster for these is a real problem so I have simply bought rigs then replaced the holsters with a piece of leather and attached the Reactor Holster Shell which includes the magnet that turns on the Laser on. While this works I'm not happy with the look of my labor, much rather have a custom looking rig!
Hello: Tom what have you done, you look younger tonight..I have a shoulder holster from the old TC custom shop for my Thompson Contender Super 14'' scoped. That Black Belt with basket weave for police looked real nice. There are a lot of difference in leather, English Leather is the best. Well Tom keep looking young. Have a Nice Day
As with anything custom (leather) kind of like leather boots don't get discouraged give this piece of apparel some time to break in where the comfort will increase over time. Nice video!
Tom I was going to get a Galco Miami Vice Classic II but after seeing this I think I will go with your rig. This video came just in time before I decided to get the Galco. Thanks for making some good shoulder holsters...expect an order within a week!
i used to work for a custom leather holster company on the west coast (wont name names) and i have quite a few ots rigs from them, I must say though your holsters look magnificent.
Please put loctite on all screws after you adjusted your shoulder holster, I mention that in the video. The Screws are designed for the exact dimension of the leather.
Thanks Tom for this vid I'll be ordering a shoulder holster soon and also will be joining the NRA all thanks to you and the Info in ur vids Thanks again
Just finished adjusting my Miami Classic 2 to my 1911. Pokes out the back of my suite because it is a full 5 inch barrel. Would be perfect with a 4 or 3 inch.
I hate to have a weapon point at the person behind me, so I've been looking for a decent vertical or angled shoulder holster. Very nice. I'll have to save some more pennies.
I always carry a round in the chamber, you can have the strap made to your liking , What I like is a quick pull fully loaded , with a sound mind, etc...
I have a ankle holster for my 380 Walther PPK and I swear by neatsfoot oil to keep it soft. What do you recommend in the new age synthetic soaps or waxes?
Nah, forget the Miami classic line from Galco. These look much better. I'm impressed with the quality I've seen - and I think I'll get the chestnut shoulder rig for my Springfield XD 5".
I wish you would have shown how to pull the mags out of the pouchs. It looks awkward but I like that carrying to extra mags over a iwb and stuffing it in your back pocket. I use both my back pockets for a phone and a wallet now.
What are you using for a leather conditioner? I have leather holsters that I made 20 some years ago and I used Mink oil and they are rotting. How can you get leather not to rot with time?
I pride my holsters as the best quality, thick, hand stitched, & a personal phone call to make it perfect:) They are really the best holsters in the world. I have a few craftsmen who hand stitch these for each customer. Thank you. Tom
Weapons Education I'm really impressed by what I see, and that's pretty hard to do since I'm so dam picky. Especially when it comes to my hunting gear. I have to pick a scope after Christmas, but after that I'll be placing an order! Not many places offer quality holsters for scoped large frame revolvers.
Weapons Education What about those shoulder hostler which you do not need belt. What are the difference between those and the one you are talking about?
Thank you sir. Just went shopping at your site. Some nice new shoulder holsters. Very nice.Nice updates. Finally ordered TK22 and love my TK15. Also ordered a 3X T shirt. Look forward to getting them. Great video.
With the horizontal holster you showed in the video is there a way you can make it where the holster rides where you have it but still be anchored to the belt
So you make shoulder holsters for small light firearms. The holsters shown were for service level carry that are very robust. What would you recommend for the Ruger LCP II 22 LR?
Nice shoulder holsters. I have a Taurus .45, as well as a Colt .45 5" barrel. My forward draw holster is similar to your darker colored custom but rides my shoulders funny. It is custom aswell but wasn't made for me. As a matter of fact I won mine in a sharp shot contest with an ex-Army sniper HAHA! He was a good shot. Very good actually, I won from sheer luck. He doesn't know that ofcourse! Keep up the good fight Tom!
Did I understand correctly Tom...you make these? I have been thinking about a shoulder holster for my 4" Kimber 1911...AND...even my Ruger SBH 7.5" .44 Mag. I do not know if I can pull off one of these with my SBH since I am only 5'-7" tall. haha! But, I know it would work for my Kimber 1911. My IWB holster for the Kimber is great (custom) but, it can dig at me when sitting down like driving. So I always end up carrying my SP101 in a cross draw it seems like. Very comfortable when driving.
Sorry was just in one of those moods. I seriously don't mind a little weigh on my belt. My carry gun's not the lightest gun...and with other things on the belt...Schrade Tool, magazines etc...the weight adds up. But it's not bad. Winter's when a shoulder holster or vest would work for me. But if I could use those, I could also leave the stuff on the belt and do like Pete at thearmorychannel does. He goes ahead and packs a heavy pistol and wears suspenders to help support the weight on the belt.
Officer's model 1911...Oh...ya know, I didn't think 100 lumens sounded like much of a flashlight. But in the middle of the night, that sucker's bright! As for ankle holsters...I have a little S&W .38 with the shrouded hammer...I dunno...might work out good on the left ankle for me...
Thank you for the prompt reply. Let me 'Save Up' (your prices are quite fair BTW) and I will order one of these. What exact holster would you suggest for the 4" Kimber Raptor Pro? I am not totally sure on that. So many designs. ALSO: I have to pass this by my NOT so agreeable Spouse of nearly 30 years. ;-) Still I would like one of these for my Kimber at least. The quality is there. That is easy to see since you showed the comparisons. Thanks again Tom. Yer a decent soul!
Good looking rigs that you have there , I have one of the galcos, not much punkin, and several military surplus, some good some not so good, and a "Shooting Systems" nylon for my P5 that is good but Your Rigs are so much better. All this to say that you will have a lot tied up in cheap alternatives like me, buy yourself one or three of these custom-pro-quality ones.
Wow, beautiful holsters. I was wondering if it is really necessary to open the retaining snap with your left hand when drawing the Desert Eagle, or any gun for that matter, with your right hand. I have a cheap production shoulder holster for a Glock 19, made from polyester, and the release is stiff enough to be unsnapped with the thumb of my right hand just before the draw. I would be uncomfortable with a holster that required both hands, because there are times when you may have to fend someone off with your left hand while you draw with your right.
Thoroughly enjoy your channel. I've been watching since your review on the Glock 30.... my edc for the last yr. Your review help me on my decision to purchase the G30sf...... I just wanted to say thank you for your videos and what you do for our firearms community.
I am interested in last rig you showed, horizontal with no belt anchor, is that the one you list as armed forces pilot rig ? BTW love your videos, have taught me a lot , thanks
I'm torn between this and the Guide's Choice holster, they look like the best 2, the choice is obviously whether you want it across the chest or under the arm.
whats your opinion on non-leather shoulder holsters? is it just preference, or do you feel leather is needed for proper function of the holster? looking to buy one, but im not a fan of leather
Here I'll say it the Miami rig (Don Johnson style)... That is the first time I ever saw a Desert Eagle in one! I only carry full size handguns, granted not a Desert Eagle full size, but 4.5" to 5" but always thought the horizontal rig was primarily for shorter handguns. I have a Galco vertical I occasionally carry a L frame 4" revolver in and hate it. Good quality poor design. I would be shot ten times before I could draw from it (no tie downs). Thanks for sharing this I will make a horizontal for my 1911 and give it a try. I drive a lot and while I can draw from the 7 to 8 o'clock (lefty) while driving a shoulder rig is primo rig for the driver. You should mention that. Great video wish you the best.
Awesome! You read my mind. Just waiting on my shoulder rig for my Sig 40 P250 compact. I was thinking the horizontal would be more comfortable but I couldn't tell if the magazines were anchored on your belt or not. Are both sides free hanging or are the mags anchored? Seems like you'd feel lopsided with the mags anchored.
That's EXACTLY the one I was looking at and it looks like a shoulder rig I need to have for myself. Do you have the mag pouches available with the Horizontal openings or only vertical?
This is a no brainer, the quality of his holster is FAAAR superior to the production line crap out there. Tom, with the thick leather, does the leather print when you wear your suits for work?
I own three of Tom's custom shoulder holsters. I ordered one, received it and was absolutely amazed at the quality. I then ordered two more. The 8 - 12 week wait is normal when you have a custom product like this made in America. The leather is second to none. Five stars across the board.
Thanks for being a repeat customer. Your new shoulder holster is being stitched now for your .44 Mag :)
Weight distribution and comfort are the two biggest points to look for with a shoulder holster. Tom's shoulder holster systems are the best i've seen at that price point. A shoulder holster and actual gun belt are the first TWO items you need to buy - to start carrying your firearm efficiently.
Just got off the phone with Tom and ordered my new custom shoulder holster. Tom was awesome and I cannot wait to get my new heirloom!
Shalom
Just ordered my shoulder rig thanks to Tom. He called me to make sure I got what I wanted. What a guy. Order yours now!
Guys I purchased a shoulder holster from Tom a few months ago for my glock 27 and it rocks. Go Tom!
Got a crossbreed custom holster. Took forever, but was worth wait. AMAZING to see your last name written by hand in leather & having it fit better each time. 1911 holster is sweet, ill be in touch!
I love your channel Tom, it is good to see that fine American made hand-craftsmanship still exists in this country........
I have purchased 3 holsters, this company does great work, and I look forward to many more years of service
Thanks for your support.
I have a Galco shoulder holder system for my S&W 686 .357 2.5" barrel. And another one for my Kimber .45 acp. ultra carry. Also, I have an ankle holsters for my Sig P238 and for my Bond derringer. Thank you so much for your great presentation.

I bought the Calco shoulder holster horizontal set up for my Sig P226 .40 s&w. Love the way it carries. But looking at the difference between this set up compared to yours. Night and day! Your custom set up is gonna be my next purchase. Can't wait to have one. Tnx for this post.
You are kind & nice, I injured my back a month ago on my dirt bike, I will be back on the saddle soon...I was in "pain" during this video.
You guys are in my backyard! Very pleased and proud to support a local company!
God Bless you, wish you well.
The feedback from all the customers on shoulder holsters have been 5 stars, thanks
I've been drooling over one of these for a long time and couldn't wait any longer, just ordered mine.
I am familiar with NLP, but I have learned to communicate from employing 3,000 plus people & thousands of speaking engagements. I own a financial planning firm.I have to keep my people employed & happy. Thanks
Probably the nicest guy on youtube. It's an honor to learn from you.
Thanks Tom for your help on the phone tonight. Pretty impressive to get a call on a Sunday night to verify and confirm my order! Look forward to seeing your holster product for my Wilson carry system in the next few weeks.... BT

Just google armoryexpressoutlet and you'll see why you shouldn't do business with this guy

I just purchased an shoulder holster & belt, thanks for the comparison of Galco.
Since you did mention guns equipped with laser sights I wish you had said a little about them. Call the store 954-804-4381
Spoke to you yesterday on the phone and ordered a horizontal rig just now. Am excited to get it!
Congratulations, I am doing a video on your rig when it is finished. Tom
Great show Tom .Only draw back i see is the shoulder holsters don't hide under silk dresses very well :)
Hello: Tom what have you done, you look younger tonight..I have a shoulder holster from the old TC custom shop for my Thompson Contender Super 14'' scoped. dudes wife is actually pretty good looking, I think you maxed out your potential man nice!
Thanks for the kind words.

Tom I was going to get a Galco Miami Vice Classic II but after seeing this I think I will go with your rig. This video came just in time before I decided to get the Galco. Thanks for making some good shoulder holsters...expect an order within a week!
Amazing holsters, the quality is really there. A shoulder rig is about the only way to conceal a serious hand canon like the DE. Good video!
I have a company makes them. They are really the best holsters on the market. Thanks
i used to work for a custom leather holster company on the west coast (wont name names) and i have quite a few ots rigs from them, I must say though your holsters look magnificent.
I wish I had seen this before I bought the Galco. Definitely keep you in mind.
Chestnut color is nice! Once I get a 1911, a shoulder holster from you is what I will get.
Please put loctite on all screws after you adjusted your shoulder holster, I mention that in the video. The Screws are designed for the exact dimension of the leather.
Love shoulder holsters. I loved my Galco for my HK USP, now it seems cheap.
Would you consider doing a video on how to be measured for a shoulder holster, and how to wear them properly? Thanks.
Great demo. Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
HI Tom just the call from the nice people that make your shoulder holsters . can not wait to get it thanks.
I knew you would love the shoulder holster. Put locktite on all screws ASAP
Excellent video! You gave me a couple things to think about. Stuff that until now I never even considered.
Hi Tom just got my holster WOW. What a nice job, my Glock 23 looks great in it. Thanks
Got a shoulder holster for my glock 17. Love it
Nah, forget the Miami classic line from Galco. These look much better. I'm impressed with the quality I've seen - and I think I'll get the chestnut shoulder rig for my Springfield XD 5".
It would be great if you did a follow up on dress senarios for concealment of a firearm using your shoulder holster system.
Awesome! I've been looking all over for a place to make holsters for my raging judge and 8 3/8" scoped raging bull! You'll be hearing from me soon!
I pride my holsters as the best quality, thick, hand stitched, & a personal phone call to make it perfect:) They are really the best holsters in the world. I have a few craftsmen who hand stitch these for each customer. Thank you. Tom
Weapons Education
I'm really impressed by what I see, and that's pretty hard to do since I'm so dam picky. Especially when it comes to my hunting gear. I have to pick a scope after Christmas, but after that I'll be placing an order! Not many places offer quality holsters for scoped large frame revolvers.
Weapons Education What about those shoulder hostler which you do not need belt. What are the difference between those and the one you are talking about?
neatsfoot oil is perfect. I use all types of leather conditioners, including products made for high end car leather such as Lexol
Thank you sir. Just went shopping at your site. Some nice new shoulder holsters. Very nice.Nice updates. Finally ordered TK22 and love my TK15. Also ordered a 3X T shirt. Look forward to getting them. Great video.
Can you make the pouch openings horizontal instead of vertical?
With the horizontal holster you showed in the video is there a way you can make it where the holster rides where you have it but still be anchored to the belt
I can create whatever you want. 954-804-4381
So you make shoulder holsters for small light firearms. The holsters shown were for service level carry that are very robust. What would you recommend for the Ruger LCP II 22 LR?
I produce the best shoulder holsters in the nation. They are about $650.00, weaponseducationholsters.com/collections/shoulder-holsters
It is possible, but will be a big hassle. The dimensions are different for the gun & mags, so it will not fit your belt correctly.
You will love your custom holster & belt, I will make sure of it. It was a pleasure to speak to you.
To use whit a body armor Will be fit well ?! Many thanks from Brazil whe need good holsters like this in this country 😁🍻
I call every customer to make sure it is perfect. Thanks my friend.
Sorry was just in one of those moods. I seriously don't mind a little weigh on my belt. My carry gun's not the
lightest gun...and with other things on the belt...Schrade Tool, magazines etc...the weight adds up. But it's

I use Lexol leather conditioner, it is perfect for my high end car leather interiors, etc
Look at the "double shoulder rig" part # 587. Thanks
You got the last 3xl!
Officer's model 1911...Oh...ya know, I didn't think 100 lumens sounded like much of a flashlight. But in the
middle of the night, that sucker's bright! As for ankle holsters...I have a little S&W .38 with the shrouded
hammer...I dunno...might work out good on the left ankle for me...
Thank you for the prompt reply.
Let me 'Save Up' (your prices are quite fair BTW) and I will order one of these.
What exact holster would you suggest for the 4" Kimber Raptor Pro?
I am not totally sure on that. So many designs.
ALSO: I have to pass this by my NOT so agreeable Spouse of nearly 30 years. ;-)
Still I would like one of these for my Kimber at least.
Ok. Thank you, just want to make sure I go to the range and shoot as much as I want without having to worry because is aluminum frame
How well do smaller firearms such as ruger lcp work with shoulder holsters? Is it hard to grab or anything because of the short handle?
Hundreds of people get one for smaller guns. No problem.
im a pi and i need that exact vertical holster for a 1911 its just what i was looking for
Wow, beautiful holsters.
I am glad you like the shoulder holster. My name is on it, so I pride myself in the quality. put locktite on the screws. Thanks
Thoroughly enjoy your channel. I've been watching since your review on the Glock 30.... my edc for the last yr. Your review help me on my decision to purchase the G30sf...... I just wanted to say thank you for your videos and what you do for our firearms community.
I need expert opinion. I want to get a kimber 1911.but I'm not to sure about that aluminum frame, what do you think?
I am interested in last rig you showed, horizontal with no belt anchor, is that the one you list as armed forces pilot rig ? BTW love your videos, have taught me a lot , thanks
I know you love your shoulder holster, this video was per your request.
Yes I am wearing my custom holster as I write this. Thank you Tom...
This is going to be my next purchase, amazing quality Tom, bookmarked the site. Will be ordering one in the next month budget willing!
I'm torn between this and the Guide's Choice holster, they look like the best 2, the choice is obviously whether you want it across the chest or under the arm.
I make whatever you want. it does not exist yet.
The desert eagle is when you want to fully erase all trace’s of your attacker. Lol.
I've got the miami classic for my XD 40 and I love it.
whats your opinion on non-leather shoulder holsters? is it just preference, or do you feel leather is needed for proper function of the holster? looking to buy one, but im not a fan of leather
Can you build the Upside down, backward on the left side for a right hander
Here I'll say it the Miami rig (Don Johnson style)... That is the first time I ever saw a Desert Eagle in one! I only carry full size handguns, granted not a Desert Eagle full size, but 4.5" to 5" but always thought the horizontal rig was primarily for shorter handguns. This is a no brainer, the quality of his holster is FAAAR superior to the production line crap out there. Tom, with the thick leather, does the leather print when you wear your suits for work?
So the Height or distance you want the gun to hang, can be adjusted higher or lower, even after it is customized to your size ?
I need a holster like that. Would come in handy :)
