I wish they put Latch in BRC. You'd think Team Reptile's mascot would have made some kind of cameo, but it's fine, I can still enjoy playing him in mods.
It really makes me wonder why the DLC wasn’t just Jet and Switch, instead of making “new” characters in Jay and Base. I feel like it would have saved more time doing so, and also would have connected Lethal League world to the Bomb Rush world. As an aside, I also do just prefer Jet’s palette swaps to Jay. Edit: got Base and Switch backwards
I would've kept their names the same considering they are not a part of the storyline. We just use them to have fun so there was no need to create new names for them.
I'm very happy with BRC (finger crossed for at least a new game plus mode in the future), but I'm also confused: I understand not wanting to bring the ENTIRE Lethal League cast over to BRC since the games are separate, and one shouldn't overshadow the other, and the universes ARE different enough that Jet and Switch were altered into "new inspirations" of their original selves to work in game. They got Jet/Jay (the rollerblader), Base/Switch (the skateboarder), but not Toxic?! (the spraypainter) I don't really care who gets bundled with her in another DLC, but that needs to be rectified. (I want my female noise tank rep!)
Future DLC content adding Lethal League characters to the Bomb Rush universe seems likely considering Switch and Jet are the first DLC character pack. I don't see them deviating away from Lethal League unless they create new characters that could be a part of an expansion or something.
In certain interviews with the devs who worked on this game, it’s by design that the game doesn’t have a new game plus. Since their intention was to make players go outside to try these tricks or experience your local street culture. I don’t think we’ll be seeing any sequels or this game being expanded into a series (though I can see them doing dlc) I could be wrong though

I have no idea. Mind you I leveled the sounds of the Candyman, Latch and DOOMBOX footage since their voice lines are loud, especially DOOMBOX.
