Hi great videos I'm wondering if there is anything you can recommend for removing patina from my straight razors Like a fool I put then in vinegar and baking soda to clean and they've all gone grey. Some of them high light engravings or some type of logo on them so there quite old and I didn't want to remove the history from them. Thanks in advance
Hi, thanks for watching. You could try some glass paper and oil, no lower than 400 grit and then go up in grits. Maybe use a backing, a pencil eraser or plastic tubing. I have made the same mistake in the past, there is nothing I have not tried. Good luck and if you do try this method then I recommend wearing tough gloves and kill the edges.
