Son was never that good in the first place. He was a good player, never a top player. He went missing in every final, semi-final he played in. He also disappeared in the must win Premier League games when we were in a title challenge. In the main, a flat track bully.

I do feel like the club were in tge process of just reefing everything out and making major changes. Needing a manager who wasn't going to ask too many questions while they got rid of all the senior players and replaced them with inexperienced kids. There is no way any chairman is watching this football and believing its the way forward. It has never been good. Its just chaotic. Even when we win it isn't because we controlled a game. And now everyone knows what to expect from us. This football is going nowhere. Semenyo of Bournemouth or Mbeumo of Brentford are another 2 good top quality forwards. The quality of Spurs' signings since Lange came in have worsened. He's useless. Paul Mitchell was free there for a long time.

I don't get a sense of introspection from the panel. They push heavily against their counter position but never against their own as a group. Someone said that anyone from the panel could go and manage Celtic to win the SPL and domestic cups. Not one person pushed back against this notion which is absurd. It's why I don't put it a lot of weight on the conversation. Listen to the guy who thinks it's 1 in a 1,000,000 to get to 3 finals by the bookies, that's not even true but you can tell he truly believes the notion of it.
