I had planned on buying this but the price in my cart jumped from $899 USD to $1200 USD. I can't believe they would raise the price this much for an entry level device.

Great video! - I'm looking at getting the Indie 7 for the FX6 and I'm curious, because of how small the FX6 is, does the larger 7-inch monitor work well on top of the camera for handheld or do you think a 5-inch would be better? I already own an Atomos Shogun 7 and it is quite large especially on the FX6, but I'm considering a SmallHD 7-inch as they are typically lighter and not as bulky. Thanks!
I have the cine 7 for my FX6, the indie 7 is the same size and is a good fit on that camera. Its way lighter than the Shogun 7 and fits easily with an arm or hotshoe on a top plate with the Sony. Let me know if you need more help?
Does somebody know if there is a suitable sunhood for the indie 7?

Hi Krischan, if you've purchased the CINE 7 or 702 after that date then I'd recommend the SmallHD Smart 7 Sunhood (ACC-HOOD-SMART7) - hope that helps
@@BPS-tvcouk so I gave it a try: I bought my indie7 2 month ago and the sunhood works without any flaws. Therefore the date of the purchase might not be so restrictive.
