- Quite possibly one of the most hyped set of taillights to ever grace the S197 Mustang is now available in a euro style with a clear lens and I'm HERE FOR IT!! Check out this detailed unboxing and review of the lights in comparison to the OEM equivalent and see how they look on not one but two different colored S197's.

I would be all over these if only they had amber lighting on the inside when the turn signal was on. These however look great, but with my car being red the OEMs look just fine.
Yeah that would be cool for the turn signal. Maybe a V2 will come out 🤷♂️ but I do think red cars still look best with the oem red tails 👌
These aren’t really Euro spec if they don’t have amber turn signals/hazards…honestly don’t see the appeal of these without that feature. The red halo is so lowkey already
I love the clear look especially on the gray.. very subtle but big improvement.

On 2014 mustang GT I like the factory so I just bought the the sequins from America muscle and sequins for every thing even when I brake and lock and unlock doors
once the tint inserts are installed the lights will look amazing on Melissa's car too!
Yessir the tints really going to finish them up perfectly IMO 👌👌 she’s still torn but I think she’s starting to feel them haha

Thanks! Yeah m stoked with how they look for sure 🤘 they are forgestar F14 beadlocks in a 15x10. I’m going to get a video out on those eventually as well. I ran a 10.41 recently on them!
With your stangs paint.. sterling gray I think..they look amazing..very nice..I’ve got a black 2014 so I love the red ring on the OEM tail lights..but on yours..goes perfectly😀..question..fuel door on yours…where did you get that??
Yeah I love the color match look with the sterling. The oem reds still look really good too so I definitely understand keeping them as is! As for fuel door it’s just an MMD black one I picked up from American muscle I think. I had to repaint it because the anodizing almost entirely faded but otherwise it’s worked great for years now b

Are you getting any interference 😮, when radio on or using your turn signal coming true your car speakers . They look super on your mustang.👏🇨🇦💪👍
Thanks! I do have some interference but it’s from the 3rd brake light when I press the brakes apparently. I haven’t taken it back off to see if it persists though without it.

Do you think they will make a red lens aftermarket version? I have a grabber blue 2011 and I do like how the red lens stands out more on grabber blue
Yeah I believe they had red lense versions as well. But if not there is definitely some red aftermarket ones out there, I’ve seen one in person before.

Yes they all light up red no orange or yellow like a true euro spec would be. It’s more so just a euro styling but American spec’d.

I think the clears look good on the red (ruby or race), green and gray cars. They look ok on the black cars. I don't really like them on the white and blue (deep impact or grabber) cars. I haven't seen any on the silver cars yet but they definitely look great on your car though 👌
Thanks man! I think anything on the gray scale works great with them. But the brighter colors could go either way. Red however I do think would be best stick oems 😬
I wonder if these would work with the Raxiom sequencer to make the outer rings work with the turn signals too. 🤔
If they make the OEM tails do what you’re talking about they will make these do the same. I don’t have any experience with sequencers to know what all they do though, sorry.

heard a lot of people having problems with those taillights.
I don’t think there’s been “a lot” I think there was one post about concerns with them abs that info spread around because it was one of the first to share actual info on the lights.

It was a custom piece made by a guy on Instagram. I did a video about installing it but unfortunately he doesn’t make them anymore. Top notch quality though if he ever decides to again 👌

Do you want to sell the Tail Light Conversion Trim Kit that goes on the bottom of the 2013/2014 tail lights to fit the 2010/2012 lights I like to purchase them ?

They are regular red! It’s not as red as the oem red because of the clear lense is all so it’s a lighter red, but still red none the less.

I'd be down for this if the turn signal on the end was amber ..I thought the euro style had this .
To be true Euro spec they should have Amber turn signals yes but these are more euro styled but American spec still. 🤷♂️

@@youngrios Finding a legitimate OEM set of the euros is extremely difficult. I've also heard they don't just plug in and work correctly, so even if you did I don't think it would be an easy swap like these were.
Hey. I got the same care. And I notice your tires. That is what I want to do to mine. What are the size. I'm getting 18x9 and 18x10 wheels. But I want the tires like the back one on yours.
It’s a 28” tire but on a 15” wheel so you wouldn’t ever be able to quite get the same look with an 18” wheel. You can find 28” tires for it though that might do what you’re wanting it to.

Not entirely sure the brand it’s a Chinese manufacturer I believe and then just being resold by retailers. Links are in the description.

I’ve also seen them for 455 on Amazon. So I don’t think the price is really going up like you might be implying, I think it just varies where you look to purchase from.
They look pretty decent but definately NOT worth $499.00, can do alot more things to the car with that kind of money...
To each their own 🤷♂️ I love them and think the price point is extremely fair when you look at them compared to a set of new oem taillights. Not too many things I could actually do to the car for 500 at this point…lol
$500 is one, maybe two decent things you can do to a stock s197, and this thing is far far from stock lol. I think it's worth it. What would you have done to this car for $500?

It’s entirely possible. Would be just based on demand though. It seems to me like there’s a lot of now and later buyers so I personally think it will remain similarly priced since the buying should be fairly spread out.
