Great Video! I have a ton of Imperial Assault games and want to expand the skirmish mode to more like Legion, but don't want to repaint the figures. Was thinking about just using One Page Rules, but do you use Legion rules with Imperial Assault minis? Appreciate any help and links to rules, groups, etc you can provide. thanks
Thank you! They are a lot of fun, bit of a paywall to get started in any of them, the core sets are a bit pricey 😳 but I enjoy them so much it always pays off :))
I almost skipped this video. Then after your introduction I realized I also had been bitten by the 40K bug (I still have the basic set plus a handful of additional armies boxed up somewhere. I also have a few Babylon 5 miniatures (though I'm not sure where the rules for that one went). I even purchased a Firefly board game, but never had a chance to play it; I played 40K with my nephew and we had a lot of fun with that, but he's off being a stand-up comic in LA so I really have no one left to play table-top games with; my wife has no interest in them. I've looked at some of the Star Wars games but they looked like they have a significant pay wall to even get started, and I already spend too much on action figures, so I held back. So, thanks for the quick look at what's out there. :)
Wow yeah 40k got a lot of us huh? 😅 I actually really like the 40k lore and I adore the miniatures, it's what got me into miniature painting in the first place :)) Fortunately my wife enjoys this stuff almost as much as I do, and I have yet to develop a strategy to beat her "bum-rush the enemy and park a Bantha on their troops" technique 😅😅😅 a worthy opponent 😅
You are right though, the investment to get started is very daunting!! And considering my game budget isn't separate from my toy budget, quite often the games get forgotten about for a long ol' time...

Love this. Never got into these games but like the intro to them.

@@grandmofftony Yeah, it gets pretty hard to work up a coherent strategy with a bantha sitting on your face.
Compared to 40k I bought almost every model in the legion lineup for maybe 600 in total… that’s roughly ten units in 40k.
