Nice video summarising the downfall of Ubi. Even mentioned PoP that was mostly forgotten despite being a hit. And huge props for mentioning that it massivly underperformed. Seriously, that's the first time hearing about this
@@TEE1-i Sadly, if they won't hire better management, it's very unlikely. After the flop of Outlaws and that AAAA game, they might be too scared to spend money on new ideas, as safer option is doing something that worked several times
The scale of game development now is going to inform how games are received for the next couple of years. As gamers we reward innovative gameplay & fun over scripted, template-ridden games with bloated budgets. Much love for this content from Australia bro
Bro.... Ubisoft is effed if they have to rely on Shadows for their survival. Let's put aside the controversy of 'Yasuke the Samurai' for now. Does anybody think that Yasuke, the only big black dude in *Japan*, who sticks out like a sore thumb, is good fit for covert work, let alone an *assassin*? Wtf? If they wanted a black protagonist, there are any number of places where it would've made sense. Why put it in Japan at all, and make the whole game sound nonsensical to begin with?
That's a fair view point. I feel the tried to appeal to social politics and the modern audience. But failed to take into consideration, people just want to play a good game without any agendas being push into their face, which by all account is the minority opinion to have anyway.
There is no going back. Honestly, I feel bad for all the blames AC is currently taking. They probably did not get this much blame if this exact game was published 10 years ago. I feel like this game is taking too much backlashes.
No they do not, they need to hate not impact sales, because new ac is for sure better than valhalla ( every fan of valhalla can say so ), with that in mind, it should sell better or equel to valhalla ( what mean this game should be big asf as a success)
Good and honest content, great vid man! Thx
Thanks man, really appreciate the comment.
Pleasure bro, keep it up!
Great vid
Thanks
... and all the Devs and Journalists will look up and shout "BUY IT!!!"... and I'll whisper "no."
Same here man.
Base take. I think Ubisoft is done.
I think they will be brought out. But yeah its a bad situation to be in. Thanks man

Thanks man. I really hope they turn it around, cause I like Ubisoft games in general.

@@man-batiszkokabatsow4153 True. The truth is if this game flops, they will have to sell. Probably will sell, even if it does.
Very insightdul review
Thanks man.
Really good vid. Love the way you address the topic. Not toxic or fanboyish, just base.
Thanks. Really appreciate it.

@@EasyGB Thanks a lot man. Really appreciate it. Love from the UK bro.
By what people saying about valhalla and how it sold out ( as well as odyssey), I dont rly think so
This is what happens when you are more concerned about the money that you will receive from your high ESG score then what your own customers want
Very True
I think it’s done but its definitely getting bought out
Yeah I kinda agree with that. All signs point towards that anyway. Thanks Man
nice video bro thanks for the detailed information. btw i hope that ubisoft fails
Thanks man

The backlash stems from bad management, but you're right it has been a bit too much.
Well they milked the hell out of the franchise for the past 8 years, so the backlash is well deserved and long due
@ Indeed well deserved and long due.
The backlash is the result of 10 years formula milking
@dasarchiv3508 indeed but i was speaking about the historical accuracy of yasuke in general as well
