Pages were a mercurially talented band in the late 70s and early 80s containing some of music's true session greats - with two of their key members (Richard Page and Steve George) topping the charts during the mid-1980s with the hits "Broken Wings" and "Kyrie" - as Mr. Mister.
Their third album, "Pages", was produced by Jay Graydon, (think of the guitar solo on 'Peg' by Steely Dan). All of their albums featured a multitude of world class session players, including Jeff Porcaro, Vinnie Colaiuta and Al Jarreau to name but a few!
As you can imagine, we've had to be at our absolute best to tackle this difficult, involved, outrageously funky, and harmonically incredible music.
Therefore, we decided to enlist one of our favourite contemporary artistes just to make it even more spectacular!
It's been a privilege to work with one of Norway's most talented musicians, writers, and singers - Ole Børud who features on Guitars and Vocal.

Was listening to Maybe and thought the voice was similar to Richard Page. Then I find this. How great. This was back when Richard and Steve George wanted to be the next Steely Dan.
Anything Ole touches sounds phenomenal. The musicianship on these tracks is just as brilliant too

It’s strange to see Pages remembered, especially with such enthusiasm as this. Most people only know Richard for his “Mr. Mister” stuff. There was a whole world of incredible songs, arranging, performing artists and producing before that, though. I was a huge Graydon follower in the 70’s and this stuff came up when I stumbled across a promo EP simply labeled “Pages” (which I still have,……somewhere) . Man, I played the s#!t out of that EP and eventually realized that all of my heroes were playing on the tracks. So, now I’m inspired to go dig it up. Wish me luck. Nice work, Ole & Co.

Unbelievably good. What a voice, Richard Page is one of the best vocals of the past 45 years and you sound exactly like him. The musical accuracy is unreal and it sounds incredible. I've listened to a number of your videos and they are all exceptional. So pleased I found you.

So far, THIS and the cover of Gino Vannelli’s “Fly Me Into This Night” are my favorites!! Totally stumbled on this amazing project just because I had searched to see if there were any new Ole Børud videos and the Pages project popped up…from there I subscribed to the channel and ventured down the SIWTP video rabbit hole. What a treat! Just some fantastic singing and playing. And Paul Robinson, watching you inspires me as a bass player because you absolutely crush it on every song (as does the rest of the group. New fan in Georgia (U.S.) right here.
