Good review. I agree It does seem morally questionable about building bombs. Also wonder why on earth the designers chose the abominable Comic Sans as the text font for this game.
Not trying to b rude but u can make a bomb out of almost anything. If somebody/or kid knows a persons in the military or a good library it really is not that hard. Your bathroom or kitchen. But really what game is not violent Mario jumps on gumbas it insinuates to hit people. But it does have a cute factor i am getting this game
@blackskullthunder I was really good in Chemistry. My friends and I figured out how to make fireworks and cherry bombs using some everyday household items. We were very nerdy.
I think you're looking into it a little bit much there, Wiiviewer. I'm pretty sure that a little kid would have the money and materials (not to mention the patience and dedication) to make a bomb out of these things.
i am concerned f or when the parental supervision note like said you can build anything you see but only with your parents wow!!.anyway your videos are great i watch every single one!!!!!!
By looking at the comments, this game does look good for teens and I even prefer most Rated-E games and I'm gonna be 15. But my brother would love the fireworks part cuz he LOVES fireworks. But he's 22 lol. But this is your opinion Wiiviewer. I've always respected your reviews.
MacGyver never used guns due to the fact that his friend shot himself by accident while they were kids, playing with a gun. It's not a that MacGyver is against violence, it's just that MacGyver is actually afraid of guns.
My only point was it should have been "T rated". The content in the game, and the idea behind it doesn't lend itself to an "E rated" game. You won't agree with every review, but to each their own.
I was reading my pchem book when I thought up that a chemistry version of cooking mama would be cool, can't believe those bastards at activision beat me to it!! and they flunked the game...
If people really want to know how to make a bomb, all you have to do is just do a google search. However, getting the materials for a bomb is a different story. Although, you can make simpler bombs than the big explosive ones.
Yes, the thing you make is a cartoon. However, they do show you the chemicals and steps to make a bomb. Is it correct? I have no idea but I don't want some kids try it out. If they used X and Y brand mixing items then I wouldn't be complaining about that. It's the fact that they use the chemical names that I don't like.
I think this game should've been rated E10+ for the reason you said. And people, there are some pretty bad parents who might acctually buy this stuff for the kids or have the stuff around the house.
You can figure out how to make bombs by looking up the ingredients online. But I have never played a game before as a kid that really showed you how to make a bomb even though a kid I knew growing up made a smoke bomb he threw it on the ground and it blew up with a bunch of smoke it was really cool I asked him for the recipe and he said he didn't remember.
To tell you the truth, Wiiviewr, your right to tell people to skip this game. They truely teach you how to make bombs. They work. (The bubble gum ones don't, though)They really work, but the fireworks (luckily) don't. The soap and hair dye and other things work as well.
Yo, you make great reviews, but as long that you dont work to make the ESRB rating, leave it alone and dont comment about it. The game is rated for the kids(E) So even if there is bomb, its not a problem because the proffesionals, those who have the right to rate a game not like you didnt had a problem when the game got release, so let it flow and buy the game for your kid.
Hey everyone, let me tell you something you've probably never heard of. It's called an opinion, geez. you guys can react over something so small and insignificant. If HE doesn't like it than HE doesn't have to play it. If HE doesn't like it, YOU can still play it. Try it out, you never know, it might work
They really teach you to make bombs? At least Mr. Wizard dealt with fireworks responsibly and also taught how to make a really great solar oven. I don't recall the episodes turning into "My Little Urban Terrorist". Guess Fox Kids has a new series to produce so Fox News can blast it.
Haha! This should've received a T rating instead, as it's "deadly." All jokes aside, I always enjoy watching these, but this one made me laugh like crazy. Good job!
I haven't played the game, but It's pretty likely that the materials required for the bombs and fireworks in the game are only available if you specifically order them. I doubt any kids have access to magnesium or phosphorus...
been going through these old reviews while checking my list, been a nostalgic trip
2:42 - 3:01, My favorite moment in the entire review
Anyhow playing this game still comes to be one of my most nostalgic childhood memories.
omg fellow science papa fan

Aw, c'mon, it's harmless.
"Do not attempth these experements without supervision." Yes, just add on to the list of victims why dont you.
Cooking Mama? Science Papa? Wow
Nostalgia. :)
0:45 - 1:29, my favorite part of this review!!
Next in the series: Drug dealing papa
Good review. I agree It does seem morally questionable about building bombs. Also wonder why on earth the designers chose the abominable Comic Sans as the text font for this game.

Geez I didn't even know you could use the bombs in the first place. Couldn't beat the first competition...maybe now I'll manage =)
Aw, I was expected him to say "Vow! Even better than Papa!"

LOL. I wish I had thought of that. I would have totally used that. :D
MacGyver had a gun in the first episode. And then never used one after that.
@blackskullthunder I was really good in Chemistry. My friends and I figured out how to make fireworks and cherry bombs using some everyday household items. We were very nerdy.
@Gamer146810 and maybe make a science mama? or a cooking papa? the possibilities are endless!
Hair gel? Soap? Bombs? They're yours, my friend, as long as you have enough rubies. Anyone get the reference?
Honestly, this game looks like one of the those free online games I play when I'm really bored but the only difference is that this has 3D graphics.
@HUNTEMDOWN123 do u mean like sodium chloride and words like that?

1 requests can you review my sims raceing for the wii
If it weren't for the content, what would you say about the game?
I was reading my pchem book when I thought up that a chemistry version of cooking mama would be cool, can't believe those bastards at activision beat me to it!! and they flunked the game...
2 requests: can u review bust-a-move bash for wii and bust-a-move plus for wii ware
THE SALT WATER EXPLODES, ISNT THAT ALREADY A BOMB?????
If people really want to know how to make a bomb, all you have to do is just do a google search. However, getting the materials for a bomb is a different story. Although, you can make simpler bombs than the big explosive ones.
so if you are not a kid should you rent or buy?
@Romeighla it wasn't intended to be, but still your right
Do you think a bomb build like shown in the game would actually work?
science in our world is like hacking in the video game world
Yes, the thing you make is a cartoon.
However, they do show you the chemicals and steps to make a bomb. Is it correct? I have no idea but I don't want some kids try it out.

So, will this game teach me how to make an exploding liger?
@wiiviewr THE SOAP MONSTER IS USING IT TO MAKE HIM BIGGER
If this game was combined with Zero Wing, would there be a quote
"All your base and acid are belong to us"?
Cooking Mama... and Science Papa... uh, yeah.. :D
Do they specifically tell you the ingredients that make a bomb? If not then it's not that bad.
@LightningLegend12 ikr?
lol
'Dang, so close...'
Where's a kid going to get ingredients for a bomb anyway?
Young Dr. Wily?
I Have This. Oh, Btw, I'm French.
1:52 the scientist looks like serial killer
Should i skip the next Bomberman, too? ^^
@Chicagofinest9 are you kidding?! aww man, i wanna see the wiiviewer take that one on!
Wheres your cnduit review? Oh and Wiiviewer I HIGHLY reccomend Little Kings Story.
4:38 His hand disturbs me notice anything Wiiviewr?
I think this game should've been rated E10+ for the reason you said. And people, there are some pretty bad parents who might acctually buy this stuff for the kids or have the stuff around the house.
So, do you think for older audiences this would be a buy?
im gonna get this game just so i can bomb da world!!!!
Cooking Mama
Science Papa
I demand a lawsuit!
at the end of the video science papa said dang so
@wiiviewr i rly think they wouldnt of gave it a E rating if the chemicals and mixing and stuff like that were the things to REALLY make a bomb
dont worry, they cant use the bombs. they need to go into dodongos cavern to get a bomb bag.
i agree do conduit and metroid prime trilogy.
I believe Cooking Mama, as the DS came before the Wii.
im still gona buy or rent this game.
You really should do a review of Metroid Prime 3. That game is awesome!!
1 request can you review spider man friend or foe for the wii
Cooking mama and science papa
are like the same! They have minigame about making stuff even title is almost the same!
You can figure out how to make bombs by looking up the ingredients online. Yeah I want to go home and try breeding Cows and Mice :P
@bleachman400 agree
Are we talking about a grade school? No grade school i know has magnesium for science experiments and stuff.
Hey everyone, let me tell you something you've probably never heard of. It's called an opinion, geez. you guys can react over something so small and insignificant. If HE doesn't like it than HE doesn't have to play it. If HE doesn't like it, YOU can still play it. Try it out, you never know, it might work
what a bizarre game! Where do we find these games? They are the ones shelved on the side aren't they? lol
i have a scienece papa and a cooking mama.
They really teach you to make bombs? At least Mr. Wizard dealt with fireworks responsibly and also taught how to make a really great solar oven. I don't recall the episodes turning into "My Little Urban Terrorist". Guess Fox Kids has a new series to produce so Fox News can blast it.
Science Papa and Cooking Mama.
Anyone see a relation?
Haha! This should've received a T rating instead, as it's "deadly."
All jokes aside, I always enjoy watching these, but this one made me laugh like crazy. Good job!
@LightningLegend12 Yes. Cooking Mama was making money, and Activision wanted to make money >_>
So Activision (publisher) and Mad Monkey Studio (developer) wanted to make money, eh?
Yeah, I'm kind of wondering... why are your friends asking you to make bombs for them?!
yeah man im sure a 9 year old kid would blow up a building because science papa told him to create a bomb
@coolgdog10 the soap monster is eating it and making it bigger
I haven't played the game, but It's pretty likely that the materials required for the bombs and fireworks in the game are only available if you specifically order them. I doubt any kids have access to magnesium or phosphorus...
@LightningLegend12 That's exactly what I thought when I saw this in the related videos!
