The game was so good, deserves a remake, even expand into an online RPG.
Do you guys know, one of the rocks at North of New Sorpigal on the coast is actually a chest. It contains usually better items than standard ones in New Sorpigal, a really good kick start help.
I had a dream where they released Might and magic 6.5 , and they had about 50 maps ,with like 8 dungeons on each map, with 1000 spells and over 1000 different type of monsters with 3 evolutions and they added a random map generator so your maps are different every time you start, and the enemies are hard you cant attack them threw walls, and certain monsters spells follow you so you cant just dodge them with the fly spell abuse
I would pay $200 for that easily ahahah. That'd be absolutely awesome, although there's actually kinda something like what you've mentioned already but obviously not to the same extent, but they're called Chaos Conspiracy and the 6/7/8 Merge Mod. One day I'll aim to do playthroughs of these mods, they sound really good

The dream you had was of the World of Enroth, also known as Might and Magic Merge.
It's been finished for a few years and it has been debugged for a few years, so now it is pretty stable and playable.
Also, try getting the Unlocker working - it will unlock otherwise locked character combinations. You might encounter our "easter eggs" - for example, if you make a Dragon Sorcerer or a Dragon Necromancer, and promote said character to a Lich, the result will be a Dracolich with a custom paperdoll and portrait animations. :^]

The "Dungeon Exploration 1" plays in Sweet Water and I am not aware of it playing in any dungeon. Even if that was its original purpose. At least for the version I have.
I went to this video to find it because I ran through the Paradise Valley and Sweet Water to get chests, obelisks and the statue quest (I usually methodically clean maps, but getting the obelisk treasure after cleaning up the last map seems... stupid and useless) just yesterday. Boy, was I tense due to that music.
I still believe that Sweet Water was the original starting point (the game even refers to it as the first overworld location) and a "tutorial town", but after years of using it, the devs hated it, thus destroying it and changing the other maps around. One of the villages shown in prerelease screenshots is unknown and I have my theory that it is the original Sweet Water.
Wow that's super interesting!! I'm curious if you have a link anywhere to the prerelease screenshots? Sounds like something I'd check out :) But yes the music is super tense (in a good way of course), modern games don't have the same atmosphere with their music

I really did like this game. Tried something new and it worked in a number of cool ways. Hard af but its music was definitly, unique. This score brings back so many memories one thing ive always noticed about its music was an underlining somberness. Considering how the mm franchise went looking at it now I always thought that it reflected Jon's slipping of his own creation. Beautiful acore though, thank you for uploading these
Thanks for popping by and leaving comments! It definitely tried something new but was awesome, certainly hard but that's part of the charm in my opinion! If only 3DO didn't go under, we could've got so many more gems like this game. I'm hopefuly something can be done in the future though. No worries at all, we all share a passion for the same game :))

My favs here are adventuring town exploration 2 best of all. Second would be dungeon explore 2, it's and odd twisty song very original. Third would be moonlight journey. I like most all the songs in the game, they feel and almost tell a story like opera.

This was probably my favorite in the series. I hated it initially but theres definitely something about this one that 7 and 8 lacked for me.
That’s interesting to hear! You could make cases for each of them being great in their own right, but definitely MM6 holds a special place in my heart, it had so much character
@@RaPiiDXInFerNo for sure! I enjoyed all of them but 6 is the only one i was able to play all the way through.
6 was the first one in the series I played so it always a special place in my heart. I also loved how it tied into the Heroes 2 story plus character/party was simpler in terms of being less restrictive in the later ones where class etc effects skills and abilities much more. It definitely had a different feel than the later ones. 7 is probably the best in the series in terms of content and story, given the story good/evil elf/human choices you could make, not to mention acromage!
VI has more fairytale-like less 3D animation.

Theres so many faves on here but if i had to pick it be dungeon 5, sunlit snow (always made me think of spirited away) and... The desert theme or the demon theme when exploring outside. Just noticed they arent list :(
Dungeon 5 just feels so nostalgic doesn't it?! Awesome track, sunlit snow is a nice peaceful track too, a lot of variety on this OST. Mhm they could potentially be listed under different names? I pulled these directly from the GOG pack that comes with buying the 6-pack so that's interesting they aren't there. Hopefully someone else has uploaded those ones!
