I also bought this product and I am very pleased. The vertical position of charging is very comfortable. And the fan is imperceptible, it is not disturbing even though it is near my head. So buy with confidence you will not be disappointed.

Always frustrated when a company trades off a feature that makes total sense when they implement an up grade. The Charger Duo with the Kickstand for the phone....brilliant! I mean seeing as most people charge over night on a night stand anyway and with having the watch charger as well just a great setup. My current set up has been a samsung 2.0 kickstand charger along with the supplied charger for my Watch Active 2. So why in the F%$K did they make the new 2.0 with a flat charge stand for the phone? Seeing as it doesnt matter to me as I take off my watch and plop the phone on the charger overnight anyway I choose to buy the 1.0 with the kickstand "slower" fast charging. BUT really.......why the give and take?
Have you noticed that whenever you're charging a Samsung phone when it gets to %100 the led indicator becomes green and if it's not a Samsung phone the led indicator always stays red even when it's already in %100?

I bought a knockoff charger that looks just like the 1st Gen duo on eBay. It works great for my s8 plus and Gear s3. 19 bucks, and yes it fast charges my phone pretty well.

I'm upgrading to the S20 Ultra in May and I was debating on whether or not to buy the newer charger but I decided not to. Only adding 20-40 minutes of charging isn't that bad at all. I do have to say, I didn't notice a slower rate of charging when charging my phone (S8+) and an iPhone XS Max. My time didn't decrease on the screen and I think both spots are capable of delivering 7.5 watts wirelessly (I forget the units).

Yes, I put it either vertical and horizontal and both work just fine. I have the 2018 because I liked the stand up orientation and ease of use. I already have round ones which it's hard to hit the sweet spot. Though since I have the S9+ there would be no point for me to get the 2019 one, which I didn't even know. Good stuff!

Yes if you are referring to 'Galaxy Buds' than it will, almost any witless charging qi compatible charger will charge the earbuds
