Stunning! I do watercolor but wanted to check out an acrylic tutorial for desert landscape! The sky is AMAZING. I might have to give this one a try!

I love that you only use 5 colored paints to mix different colors for your paintings. For me , a beginner, it’s smart and helps those who are just starting. I felt a little less overwhelmed when buying painting supplies because your not having to spend so much on different paints. Some colors can be pretty expensive. Thanks Feliks.

I thoroughly enjoyed your lesson you opened up my inspiration. I always ended up with not enough ,flat or mud.. so thank you very much.

This is so beautiful. I have been looking for desert themes to paint as a Christmas gift for my father who lives in Arizona. So far, all have been failed attempts. 😭
I'm going to try this one and pray that God's favor is with me as I paint! There are some things you said and did in this video that helped me to realize where I'm going wrong. Thank you so much, Feliks!
    🖌 🎨 🥰✨️

Well, I was into my second color and totally ruined it. I'm not doing well with mop and blending brushes. I may have to go back to using flat brushes and try to come up with a way to get that buttery blend. My father may get a late Christmas present this year. Sigh... 😞

OMG! You read my mind....this is the exact subject I wanted to attempt to paint next. It's beautiful, I hope I can get somewhere close to yours! Can you tell me which brush in particular you used for the initial coloured clouds? It seemed to be a very short bristled brush, I have cloud brushes but they have longer bristles......thanks for sharing your talent and your process.

I absolutely love all your videos and now that I have gained a bit more exp painting I’m gonna give more of them a try all over done so far is your magnolia and boat painting. It sounds like the brushes you use are very stiff because when you are laying the clouds on the canvas u can hear it almost scratching. Is that the kind of brushes you prefer as in stiff bristles as opposed to soft bristles

Another great way to remove any brush hairs from you painting, just use your brush to just flick it off away from canvas. Works everytime and better for someone like me who is heavy handed and really scratches the canvas trying to get a hair off a dry canvas 😞

I'm sorry, but what is a blending brush? I looked it up online and the only results I could find were related to brushes for makeup. Also, if we don't have those kind of sponges, what can we use instead? Are regular kitchen sponges good replacements?

Hi feliks i watched the whole movie and thoroughly enjoyed it but if i may make a slight humble comment, those cacti just was not i was hoping it would be, carnegia gigantica mostly do not become broader at the top, cardon cacti towards baja and desierto look like these and i know we were looking at south arizona along phoenix and tucson, if im allowed please to make a suggestion, try looking at the work of fred lucas and lee le blanc,i also became aware of this form of art way back 1958 when i bought a dime novel,,the man from yuma,.by hal g everts, i still have it, the best painting on the cover i have ever seen,,howard fogg also did some outstanding saghuaros with his art of the southern pacific ap pichaco peak, othrwise i like your sunsets,
