I’m just beginning to paint with acrylics and the other day I watched your process for underpainting with oils which I’ve been trying to do. But this is more applicable to me. I’m so in awe with what you’ve created!!! I do hope you’ll post more videos on acrylics, including more technical concepts.
Loved it I would love to see your painting after the oils. Very nice I have not crossed over to oils yet. Bought everything but my husband is freaking out about a mess. I am a messy painter. So much fun.
@katsiggy1 I think I am the messiest painter I in the world.😅 I call it "Letting go!" My husband used to tell me, "That's not the way to paint." He's moved on to a another world now.
Thank you so much for demonstrating undercoat with acrylics. I’m an acrylic artist and this will be so helpful. The painting is already beautiful by the way 😊
With the WMO I used Cobra's Quick Drying Medium. But I've used Liquin Fine Detail with my oils and have for decades. In recent testing, it appears to work well with the WMOs, too. 👍
I just love your style! Old tube of acrylic and old brushes - let's see what happens. That is truly inspiring to those of us who need it, thank you!!
You're very welcome!
More videos on acrylics please!!!

Awesome! Glad it helped!

Thanks! You should check out water-mixable oils. They're a great alternative, and you (mostly) get the best of both worlds.

From my living room, the burnt Siena is lovely and bright. I'm looking forward to the end of the painting.

LOVE IT!!!
I still have a brush from 1968.
That is the year I was born 😂 i hope it is still in good condition. Although I bet you the quality those days may have been better...
I have several from the 60’s as well. I’m a little OCD regarding cleaning and care of my favourite brushes 😂
Nicely done! 😊
Thanks!
Very nice.
Wow very nice painting Sir .i like you style in painting. Can i tone canvas with burnt umber or brown colour .i want to try paint with this tecnique
Makes me wonder if you could use watercolor in the same way, as an underpainting for oils.
You could, but you'd need to seal the paper first. Alternatively, you could try it on primed canvas. 👍
Wow very nice painting lyne . I still always follow you channel. I like you style in painting. Can i use flow drying in acrylik
Thanks! I haven't personally use that medium, but you could certainly test it.
