When I was being scouted I was always making myself too much pressure. When I got older I realized what a negative impact this had on my performance. Some suggestion:
1) don't think too much about the upcoming tryout
2) don't overpower the day before in practice
3) never think 'I can't do a mistake' because this stops you from playing the way you are used to. But rather give your very best and react in a positive manner in case you do a wrong decision (mistakes happen all the time - even to the very best keepers)
4) Have fun and simply enjoy playing as a GKeeper!

Great videos. I've been guarding nets for 20+ years, and I would say that step 1 is the hardest to master, as it is somewhat counter-intuitive to lower you body first, and then jump. I see plenty of goalkeepers just "falling" to the ball, but without lowering your body first, you cant explode to the ball.

I have a question. I always see a lot of gks in Bundesliga (neuer, sommer etc.) “jump” to make a “power step” before the player shoot to have more power on the dive. How do you make a great timing on this issue? When is the perfect time to make the “jump”?

I am kinda confused know i don't know which footwork technique to use while doing mid and high dive we need to out ouf that other foot or not
Best tips to get over the fear of low diving and general diving? My right side is getting pretty good slowly, but I still have problems trying to dive at my left side for some reason. Should I just give it time, or do you have any tips?
