What an amazing job! The customer was weeping when he saw it. I don't think he could have been happier. His words were.......The pictures don't do it justice!! So glad you are happy Zak! Enjoy your ride!
@@richstanzione5555 thank you! Yes it is a lot of work and takes time especially if you want it to look as close to factory fit as possible. At the end of the day, the car was not designed for this type of door movement so that is important to keep in mind especially when you consider how you will be getting in and out of the vehicle
Very glad to have met these guys in person they are amazing and genuinely good people glad to say I’ve been to the shop and can’t wait for more to come 😊
Hey guys. Great video. Just to let you know, you're only supposed to use one of the bottom bolt holes on the door side. The other one that doesn't line up is for the C5 Corvette.
There is a hole in the bracket for the door, using the supplied bolt we bent up a bracket using the supplied flat bracket pieces that should have come with everything. If I remember correctly, we needed to drill a small hole in the fender to bolt up the other side.
We'll have to ask the owner about the seats. As far as the labor goes, getting the hinges on is easy but the real time consuming part is making sure everything lines up and the doors open and close properly without hanging up on anything. That is where the labor cost varies as every car is different but it is not a cheap job if you want it to look factory.
@@applejacks971 there is no set labor cost on a project like this due to all the custom modification which will vary from car to car so that is why we can't give you a firm number

That's fantastic to hear!
Zack I’m glad you’re happy with it. Thank you for being a repeat customer to the shop and the channel
Great informative video. Thank you. Getting my C6 this week. Would love to have this done to it but damn that’s a lot of work.

Really cool and innovative installation on your part. I wouldn’t do it on my Vette but it absolutely looks cool. A job really well done!👍
Thank you very much, we appreciate your support!

@@KakisBlog Thank you for your comment! Our rule of thumb is 'take two bolts out, put two bolts back in.' More support can't hurt in this scenario
Great video, thanks! Can a slender person get out of the car before swinging it upwards?
Thank you! Yes, but it's not the most graceful motion getting out that way.
yeah, they suck towards the front. Misalignment would not be a compromise. Thank you for the information.
@@bangoe thank you for your comment! Glad you got something out of the video!
Clean install. Nice work
Thank you, we appreciate it!
Looking nice 👍🏻
Thank you!
Wish there was more info in the last part. I have no idea where you put that bracket
@@alimansour9122 are you referring to the bracket that pushes the lower half of the fender out so that it lines up with the door?

What's the labor cost to do on that vette? Where did those seats from?

So... what brand is the kit?
This particular Kit is from Vertical Doors, Inc.
Can I put these on my Miata?
You can sure try! We are not responsible for any issues you may come across though.
