Wow guys what a total mess that wiring was. Nice job getting it all cleaned up. Those distribution blocks are pretty cool it would have saved me so much time from running the power wires over to thr passenger side footwell.
Yeah the distribution blocks are very useful! Wrapping them together in a towel and sticking them behind the cluster was definitely not great, though. Thank you for your comment!
I bought this off the owner that made all this wiring mess. how did everything work with all this wiring mess and would I have only known something wrong once I went in for emissions?
Yes it's likely you wouldn't have found out until you went to get the vehicle tested. The major issues were with the obd wiring so you wouldn't be able to communicate with the car using a computer or scanner, so it wasn't something that was going to prevent the car from functioning necessarily, however, with the way everything else was wired it was only a matter of time before something came lose or shorted out and caused a serious problem
