1. Yea dudes been using that stick for a while you can tell. 2. Same bro same 3. I totally agree. And just to add I ain’t ever seen a service truck like that before either lol
Safety goggles or face shield brother while using that wire buffer, it’s cheap insurance for your eyes. I worked in Southern Arizona during the summer time for years with 110° plus degrees. I know it’s hot and uncomfortable to wear your safety gear but you can’t forget about your safety. Good job 👍
My son and I just removed a fairly large tractor tire from a rim, then installed a new tire all by hand and put it back on the tractor. It took about three hours in all and was difficult but not too hard. I watched this and now think what we did was child's play in comparison. Wow was a great job they did.
@@replynotificationsdisabled with the rot cracks on the inside of the tire I seriously doubt it. Especially considering they never show the tire under load in the video.
I was surprised at the difficulty the two men had changing this tire, there was a lot of Hands ON use all the strength you have for this procedure. The split rims on this model of vehicle were also a surprise, that three part Rim was very hard to break apart. Those were two well trained and well paid Tire changers.
That wasn't a 'split-rim' wheel ........ a split-rim wheel is in 2 halves, with nuts and bolts holding the 2 halves together. That was a typical 5-piece assembly ........ back flange, front flange, tapered bead-seat, locking ring and the actual wheel itself. Changed a lot of these in my 50 years of tyre-fitting mate.
I am sweating watching this from the comfort of my sofa. I would like to see a formula 1 pit crew change all of these tires in 4 seconds. Good job gents. Another informative video MMC.

I’ve pulled the wheels off to do repairs on the machine but never did that kind of tire busting. Most I did was automotive and over the road truck tires. Did the car and pickup tires with a manual changer and the truck tires with a sledge and bars. Used soap or starter fluid to seat them. Those split rims were always fun.
I agree. My first thought was "no eye protection", holy cow. Good job getting it done, I guess, but working like that, it's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. That kind of hurt doesn't heal so good.
I did not see the 'O'RING being installed behind the outer lock ring, I have working on these machines for over forty years . Greetings from Australia.

Real men don’t need stinking eye protection
@@johnjobber2219 you say that until your wire wheel flicks a chunk of rust into your eye with the crazy speed and you lose your Vision or eye 😂 lol

Use your boom correctly and these are a piece of cake.

How to replace a worn out tire with another worn out tire.
Not realy:)
With another one that's full of dirt.
Not like it sees thousands of miles like a regular tire. As long as it hold air and isn't dry rotted its good to go
@@wyattcheetham8869 could say the same for the tirev they replaced. It held air. Your comment is useless

Stand a 4 x 6 plank against the flange ring and push in with your boom. No hammering needed.
