      @@Young-ep8ik Some people are stuck at low-mid stakes because they run bad overall, these guys isnt that much better then your average 5/10 reg, some of them has just gotten very lucky at the right time and in the right spot, if someone is shot taking once in a while and runs bad in big spots its given that they cant move up.
      Also at a certain point when it goes from highstakes to nosebleeds its barely even poker anymore in most games, it basically becomes gambling, like in this instance, calling 50% of your stack with A8ss isnt poker, its gambling.
      The biggest games in the world is the billionaire games in Macau, and they dont play poker there, they are gambling.

    Deserved. You don't call a 4bet with A8s from the blinds with that stack size. The 4bettor will shove almost every flop and you will hit like 1 on 3 times, and if he has a better ace you are drawing dead too. You either push a 5bet shove or fold.

      Usually pros want to run multiple times when they are ahead, check HSP Antonius vs Jamie, or PLO Antonius vs Robl, or all Tony G hands.
      For example, if you have your opponent crushed and he is all in on the turn with just one out for a straight flush, would you like to run it 40 times and give him 2.5% of the pot or run only once with a chance to lose all? When I am behind, if I suck out I want to win everything so I run only once. When I am ahead, I like to run 4 times or more. It is like free insurance. Equity doesn't change but variance is lower.

    what a sick run out.. and a few players on this table play poker for a living - that's why I quit playing poker for a living - I found better avenues of making money - stock market and crypto - Stock market and crypto deliver better ROI than playing poker - I will start playing poker again sometime later in my life but will never play for a living again.. The pain is not worth it..

    I had the same thing happen to me years ago late in a tournament. I flopped the nut flush in early position and checked to the guy who had middle pair. He had QJ and decided to shove. Of course I snap call. And to my horror, the turn was a Q, and the river was another Q. Disgusting.
