Tatiana is a angel. Sometimes a dark angel but mostly good. If not for making music she would have been a Russian Studies professor. Shes highly intelligent.
It's nice that you can appreciate something like this even though it's probably not the type of thing you'd gravitate to typically or listen to on a car ride or whatever. Also I too am a hillbilly
Well you've done Nightwish with Floor, Jinjer with Tatiana, and now I think you need to check out Unleash the Archers and the amazing Brittany Slayes. Awakening is the most popular one to react to and a good starting point
Oh my yes. Awakening followed immediately by Tonight We Ride. But I would like to see him check out the live one take of Judgement and Punishment for some more Jinjer.
Jinjer are just *so good* these days. All 4 of them are top-tier technicians, & the unorthodox compositions they are coming up with just now are #SuperRefreshing Oh, & albeit they are not religious, they do come from the war-torn Donbass region of eastern Ukraine, & so are understandably keen to put out messages of peace, love, & harmony.... no need for bible-clutching here my friend! #AppearancesTrulyCanBeDeceptive ;)
You want to see the modern incarnation of the devil? Actually he is Russian and in a band called Slaughter To Prevail. His name is Alex and his vocals on the song Demolisher should convince you that I no speak with forked tongue. Advisory though, do not watch right before bedtime - you hath been warned... Tatiana is soooooooo AWESOME btw...
Hope you didn’t have a nightmare after this😉 I’ve watched some other reactions of you and I like you opening up to other genres in music. It’s amazing what you can find on TH-cam and learning that there is so much more to discover then the things you’re used to. It was the same for me. I don’t like everything but can apreciate some of the techniques like Jinjer is showing. For me it’s to much growling. But she does have an amazing voice. Floor can growl badass too but she only does it when it’s really needed in a song, it’s more dosed. You may be skeptical but you’re opening up more and more, please keep it up! Greetings from the Netherlands 👋🤟
Hey you really should check out No Hoard of Value by JINJER. It's about about the coal miners from their region of Ukraine. It has the lyrics on the video! Truly heartbroken for them!!
I'm like you, the growls are not normally my cup of tea. However, I make an exception for Jinjer and Tatiana. Incredible musicians, and Tati's cleans are beautiful, and her harsh vocals are incredible. I think you would enjoy the their song "Wallflower". It's a different side of the band, and the video, for me, hits hard. th-cam.com/video/DYZrO7qcLhU/w-d-xo.html The other group I make exception to accepting the growls is Opeth, with lead singer and writer Mikael Åkerfeld. The early stuff was very death metal, lots of growls abound. Then, they came out with one of the seminal progressive death metal albums, "Blackwater Park". Still brutal, but there is some absolutely beautiful stuff on it, like jaw droppingly beautiful. The last 4 albums are devoid of harsh vocals, but I find the writing even better. Åkerfeld's love of 70's progressive rock becomes more prominent as he ages. There are some old Opeth followers who have yet to forgive Åkerfeld for the change away from the harsh vocals, even though he still does them in concert. This is the song that I discovered Opeth on, part of the newer era of Opeth, from the "Sorcerer" album. "Will o the Wisp". Thematically dark, but oh so beautiful. th-cam.com/video/Kfpnwk-DXrA/w-d-xo.html When you're ready for the older school, yet still wonderful, I recommend "Ghost of Perdition", live from Red Rocks. th-cam.com/video/BAlDEcQMLio/w-d-xo.html
Just wanted to add that you might find other female metal vocals enlightening, ( the style range range of metal is bigger than you might suspect) but definitely unleash the archers. Possibly Halestorm, and then maybe you will be ready for the vocal (and musical ) masterpiece that is Ayreon "The Day That The World Breaks Down"
If the Exorcist scares oh boy do I have some better recommendations 😝 but I’ll just give one- a one season show called Marianne. Should still be on Netflix. Watch it at night lol
Ok, now that Tatiana has popped your growl cherry, maybe a little Arch Enemy is in order: "Nemesis" live at Wacken Open Air 2016 th-cam.com/video/UNPKGyYzPCo/w-d-xo.html Alissa is going to melt your brain and send you running for the exorcist. She doesn't do sweet.
If that scared you, then you definitely should not listen to Lorna Shore “To the Hellfire!” And by “not” i mean you should 😂. You’ll probably hate it but you might enjoy the power of it. When i first heard to the hellfire, it was so extreme that i was embarrassed that i kinda liked it! It helps to know the lyrics to it to really understand it at all. There’s a lyrics video for it but it doesn’t show the original music video which is awesome also so its hard to recommend either one. If you can, watch the original while having the written lyrics pulled up. …Assuming you even dare to try it that is… wouldn’t blame you if not. Sometimes there can be beauty found in the darkest of places..
Do you seriously have nothing better to do with your life, other than going around to tell everyone how much you don't like something? No one cares dude, you have your opinion, like all the other billions of people on this planet, and it's just as important or interesting as theirs. Imagine we'd all do that. Search for all the crap we don't like, then comment on it and tell everyone how much we don't like it. Get a grip on yourself and get some help.
Her growls are some of the best in the music industry. If you would like to hear her sing live, in the studio, listen/react to "Judgment & Punishment"
Yes please...

I just got to see them last sunday, what a badass live show!
Your reaction when she switches back to clean vocals is just absolute gold mate
This was really funny. I love Jinjer.

As for the lyrics, they're just available on the Internet.

I post "meh album" under every reaction to Jinjer's new album and then read the comments.
