    You are correct!!!! Vlad the drummer is a pro concert pianist. According to Eugene the bassist, Vlad composed every song but one on the new album. Writes for every instrument. The guy is a genius. Then the music goes to Tati to write lyrics, and the rest is History.

    Vlad, the drummer, is a classically trained musician. He’s an amazing piano player and also plays guitar from what I’ve seen. They are an amazing band, pure talent from top to bottom. Fun reaction 🤘🤘🤙🤙

    Others have touched on Vlad's classical music training, but I haven't noticed anyone mention that he chose Jinjer over an offer to run a music conservatory in Ukraine - so that should say something about what he thinks of his more self-taught band mates!

    This one stylistically reminds me of home back a lot. The flow and breakdowns, ending in the low gutteral sounds.

    They are all very talented musicians. The drummer Vlad does have some classical training and he supposedly wrote much of this new album. Aside from drums he also plays piano and guitar. They have vids on the band's channel of him playing a classical song on piano and a Pantera cover on guitar of Strength Beyond Strength.

    • @cooltechnician
      @cooltechnician 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Vlad doesn't have "some" classical training.
      He has a degree in classical piano in a well renowned institute in Ukraine.
      He plays piano guitar and ofc the drums.
      He composed most of Wallflowers.

    I’ve only heard a few of the “hits” from Jinger never been big on them but this song is badass. Sounds like I should go through and listen to all they’ve released. I should know by now because I’ve heard lots of albums where I thought the “hits” weren’t the best of the album and sometimes were the bottom. Great reaction!👍🇺🇸

    Great reaction, good to see you reacting to Jinjer again. Actually, I pretty sure Vlad (the drummer) is classically trained, I don't know about the others.. The was another reviewer of this (JW Soundworks) that used a very similar comparison in how classical composers would take a single melody or two (in this case riffs) and spread the all throughout the song and break it up with tempo and in a different key and so on. Then he showed how Jinjer did it pretty much with the opening riff throughout the song. There were parts I didn't even realize it was the same melody because of the accents or the rhythm. Fascinating stuff that just made me appreciate the genius of this band even more!

    I interpreted the composition/video meaning our negative thoughts bring us to the point to where we spiral out of control until it eats us alive. With my battles with depression, I have went down that dark path. Perhaps that's not what they were striving for, but the lyrics in the first couple of stanzas point to mental breakdown.
