AL's are pretty darn good for the $$. If I didn't already buy and almost completely build two surrons, this would be a contender. I've spent a ton of money building Surrons...but in the end, amazing bikes. All I have left is to sell a kidney for a controller and battery for my UB and I'll be all done. LOL.

Thanks for this. Been waiting a long time for a review of the EX800. It's such an easy fix to get the bars right I don't know people would make such a big deal about that one. I am shocked that you only needed power level 1 and even then turned down. That turns me off a little as I was thinking a trail rider could use more that power but it might just have too much to use. I also noticed that you were surging a lot when trying to get going from a stop in the technical stuff like something needed adjustment there. How did the EXE880 do in comparison ?
Great to compare things to the Ultrabee but I would also like to hear how it compares to its bigger brothers. So what was the ride quality and suspension like compared to the stock EXE 880 as well as the EXE 800 your friends did a first ride on ? .I am wondering which of these bikes might suit me best so am looking forward to more info. Thanks for 24 minutes today.

As a first ride, this was the shakedown run to see how it would perform out of the box. We’ve since adjusted the bars and power delivery in the app and it’s so much better already. No effort, just instant fixes. We’ll post follow-up videos to show how well this bike shines in technical terrain.

16+ months in the market give the Ultra Bee an advantage but we are already working on support for this bike as well.
One thing that should’ve been mentioned in this video is we aren’t exactly comparing stock-to-stock.
