Hi pal what’s the best bike to buy for offloading? Mx5 or e ride pro 👌
I think the Mantis X will beat a Surron and only 3k!
Great informative video!! Would love to see an MX5 vs Altis Sigma shootout soon.
What is the function of the kickstand sensor, and why is it so important to remove it?
If your kick stand comes out of place enough riding on a rough terrain if could stop the motor while riding. Bit annoying and potentially dangerous
What trail is this?
Mx6 84v hopefully
What does app look like where to download app
Chains don't "stretch". They wear.
The amount of people that complain about the battery rattle on the MX4 when it literally comes with foam blocks you need to install to prevent is way too many.
Making sure this bike can climb a mountain but will probably never take it up a hill steeper than 12%😂
@Charged Cycle Works It's been a couple months. Any ETA on when follow-up ride will be? With stock suspension tuned, handlebar risers/bars, so we get a better comparison to a stock Ultra (with 21/18 and risers/bars)? Also, is there an ETA on when you'll get the TECH suspension and test so we know of that is a good option vs going aftermarket on suspension? Thanks.
How many teeth are you running on that sprocket for the 16 rear wheel? im about replace the 19-inch rear and 55 sprocket with that set up? I hope that the 60 tooth is no too low in gearing? Thank you!
is the swing arm improvement good? It's the only thing i hate about my mx4. I feel like one day, I'm just gonna snap it and eat crap.
When one of u said u want to try these electric bikes in hard enduro, how would u do things like a double clutch blip, without a clutch? I can't imagine engine torque comes on that fast.
When you cut you display arm, try and leave enough so it sits onto the headset and doesnt have the chance to start sagging Just did it last night with a dremel and got it sitting perrrfect on the headset
Could the suspension and handling deficit be also due to the slightly shorter wheelbase. That's the one spec that turns me off the nost about this bike.
You guys been so much help...ty
Thanks for the video! Any idea why these bikes keep coming with 19 / 19" wheels when 21 / 18 are so much better? Thanks!
No mention of the KTM or Cobra electrics? We got a KTM E-5 and it's arguably easier to learn on that a stacyc in some ways, it was very very smooth compared to the stacyc. Great video though - I'd love to see a comparison between the RFN's and the Orions
Such a sick bike I love mine, the fact you made it up with those tires is insane man! Your crazy haha
I can't decide between an Ultra or a Light. With only a 2k price difference, that would get spent on Light bee mods in no time.
Dude, awesome video love to see you eat that dirt. You surely deserve it. Thank you. Definitely put a smile on my face.💯✨👑🐠
Do you think a 19 inch rear or even 16 inch might work with a 21 inch front? Thank you! Just bought a Cheater and Recon 16 inch tires from you, the Wrap 9 Titanium axel blocks too, some ODI grips as well.. : ) Have a new E Ride SS Pro and was going to a 19- 16 inch set up and trying a 60 tooth sprocket! Hope I like it lol.. Thank you! ; ) Stock sprocket is 55 tooth.
I wanted to buy a E Rider Pro SS 2.0 and now I see this one.... No chance not to buy this instead right?
Great video
bro how you gonna cut the video right as he wipes out!!!
That left lever can be a re-gen brake or a clutch? I'm wondering how a clutch simulator even works on an electric bike.
Two words will put this bike to sleep: Altis Sigma
Ive had my mx5 for 2 weeks now, overall Its good ride. Im 240lbs and 6'2" had to lower the rear preload. I cant wait for aftermarket parts on this bike. The stinkbug geometry needs to go first.
Marquardt Run
Nice vid, nothing like a stock Talaria on the toughest trail😂
I know, why film a stock MX5 on a trail like this? Lol. It makes it seem like the Bike sucks, its just super tough terrain for stock wheel/tire combo EBike's. You basically need a 21/18 or 19/16 wheel setup to get that wider & thicker tire for the better grip and resist pinch flats, and add Rim Locks. Even then this seems like a trail id actually rather have my gas dirtbike or a bigger bike like the Ultra Bee, etc like he mentioned in the video.
0:46 How does this thing have the same amount of torque (nm) as the Altis sigma (500nm torque) yet the Altis completely smoked it? And the Altis is pushing 20kw? Something dont sound right
Altis has 600n.m. Of torque
did we watch the same video? Lol How come an atlis makes 7 more kw but was only a few bikes ahead?
@@bryanspilner7370 the MX version has 600 torque but the normal version has 530 torque. Considering the MX5 has 500 torque i would have thought the Altis would have wayyyy more knowing its 20kw. Idk though maybe the Altis isn’t maxed out from the factory and they ship it with some headroom power left over. Maybe new controllers can max it out later in the future
@@chazcarpenter1559 Adding KW's doesnt always equal more power at a certain point, and it doesnt directly increase toque either in the same type of way.. If anything if the Altis is already pushing 20KW's and is most likely maxxing out something, possibly the motor.. Hard to say without upgrading both bikes with aftermarket batteries and controllers to say for sure what the limit on each bike is for more power.. But yeah an aftermarket controller usually always leads to some power increase on almost all the bikes.
Also i always have my changer on back my mx4 a hatchet and tools
I use 91 percent isopropyl slides grips right on and evaporates right after
How to set sag on fast ace forks ????
Great video🔥🔥🔥
Yeah I climbed 5800 feet: Do you have any idea how much energy that takes??
Yeah remove that kickstand sensor, so when you accidentally grab the throttle it will launch into some pedestrian, got it great tip ✅
Or dont be a tool and whiskey throttle 🤷🏻♂️😂😂😂😂
I love the fatter original grips!! So much more comfortable, Thankyou Talaria 🥰
Love the look of the Ultra, reminds me of my Honda's with that color scheme.
What's the name of the trail
What model hand guards? I’m having trouble with fitment after shortening my bar.
I wonder how the soon to be released Surron racing kit compares?
just rode my friends today and man those brakes are smooth power is smooth, best bike on the market rn
On my MX5, I can almost lock up the rear tire with the thumb regen lever. I actually like it a lot. I've run down entire steep trails on the lever only and not touching the brakes. Not sure why there is a difference between yours and mine. I agree tires are trash, but the bike is a huge improvement over my MX4.
I thought the regen button only works on the 1st regen mode? Not sure why you're trying throughout the different modes ie 2,3,4 etc. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
display = lame stem mount = lame 40 Ah = lame shit tires = lame bars = lame
look at this party pooper, what isnt lame to you or are you just a hater of everything?
Sums up what I feel
What's a better option then?
buddy is just mad he got an eride pro instead of this bike hahahaha
@@buckenheimer3 there isnt, this is the best. this dude is just weird. considering he owns a eride pro that comes with the exact same - tires - stem mount - 40ah battery and the talaria has a much nicer display imo. hes just a hater lol
How did the Eride Pro SS do on this trail?
Wondering the same thing. I was set to get the e ride pro the week this was released so I’m hoping to see how they compare.
mine kicks ass with 18/21s fast ace, 250mm brakes,
@@johnframpton7666 ive ridden both, the mx5 is so much nicer in every way
@@johnframpton7666 On trails, 100% get a MX5. But if just street riding than i would actually say maybe just get the lighter Eride Pro. But it wont do good on the trails like this without some decent mods, just like any Surron based bike basically. Belt drive, brakes, wheels/tires, etc.. The Mx5 already has all of that but the wheels technically. Which would basically finish it off as one the best offroad ebikes, lightweight class, out right now..
Great video! The Talaria MX5 looks like a beast on those trails, and the beautiful scenery just adds to the experience. Who doesn’t love riding with those autumn colors in the background? 🍁🍂 Keep up the awesome content!
I got mine Wednesday. Put it together with a friend. Rode it a few times in eco mode. Took it back inside. Cut the brown wire and went to ride it again. Accidentally wheelied it in eco mode and broke my ankle in 3 places and dislocated it. 😂
Awwww men 😂
The MX5 is my first ever bike. Looped it day 2 and fucked up my wrist. I’m terrified to cut the brown wire. I’m definitely going to put a switch on it because people with no experience like me have no business cutting that wire for a while 😂
@@CadillacCoopdaville23 surgery is tonight and then it’s 2-3 months of recovery. When I get back on it again I’m going to take it super easy. I think I’ll upgrade my controller so I can tune the torque power and limit how much giddy up it has. That’s what hurt me. Eco mode while governed was fine. Eco without brown wire was deadly.
@@AlderaansRanger just put a switch on the brown wire so then you can switch it from restricted whenever you want! I’m going to do that
@@CadillacCoopdaville23 I’ll figure out a way to do that too. It’s a fun bike. Loved the riding I did on it. Just need to take the torque and power until I’m better practiced.
