I'm surprised at your comments on the attitude of the FAs who I believe are not prepped and properly trained for international premier routes.

I agree with TG FA manner, somehow I felt they act like queen in Y class and servant in upper class (materialistic manners) hence they never beat SQ and even GA (Garuda Indonesia) has taken the lead in terms of Best cabin crew

I flew Thai airways on the 777 and they where fantastic couldn't fault them one bit! I fly with another full service airline as cabin crew and I must say Thai are fantastic!
interresting conclusion!! i fly cathay pacific to filippines from amsterdam,it is a very good airline in my opinion,but no doubt thai airways also is a good airliner!,greets from belgium sir!

Vielen Dank für deinen tollen Trip Report. Sehr schönes Bildmaterial und informativer Inhalt. Meine Frau fliegt in ein paar Wochen die gleiche Strecke, daher ist es schön zu sehen wie der Flug werden wird. Gab es überhaupt kein Amenity Kit? Wäre sehr schade, da ich unbedingt eines aus dem A350 haben möchte.
fuer die ECONOMY gibt es ueberhaupt nichts mehr...

FAs attitude and kindness + IFE are the most important points to me. Other airlines also fly with A350 and propose lower prices to BKK (from Europe) with better service. Thanks for the report.
There’s is no airline in Europe that has better service than Thai airway. Why did you said better service while you haven’t try Thai airways yet?

Would you say the engine noise on an A350 is quieter, louder, or about the same as a B787?
The A350 is way more quiet but in my opinion that completely kills the feeling of flying :) I personally prefer the 787

Everytime I fly Thai-airways, the flight attends r so nice and cute, I’ve never expirienced them being rude in any way

The a350 actually has a higher air pressure
This makes you feel more to the ground than in Luther airplanes so it makes flying long haul more comfortable

Yes, I have experienced the same thing with Thai Airways flight attendants, the don't yell or anything like that, but they seem very annoyed and they rarely smile.

Most of the comments given in that video are true !
Between Munich and BKK they also still fly the oldest 747 ! Many times delay because of repairs... The food is getting less more and more and it is tailored to Asian taste, not to European taste ! As I can see, most of the PAX are European...
And the staff is getting unfriendly, rude and "high-nosed" !
My last flight was 4 weeks ago... Same experience... And I am disabled wheel-chair PAX !

I was suprised that the food looked not so delicious, cause Thai has a good reportation as a good Airline.
This was a beautiful video and superb quality but I feel too much of the flight was in high-speed. The music was very nice but should have been muted during take-off and landing. Anyway, nice video and I enjoyed it. Thank you.

Great flight but since you tried the a350 I heard a lot of great comments in Qatars a350s. But I hope you can also try Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines a350 they could be better than Thai's a350. But those airlines might have better crews than Thai airways.

The IFE hasn't changed in years.
Christopher Satterfield what do you mean it changed immensly in the last 10 years thai went from version 2IFE(projector screens) to version 3IFE(good old non hd tv screens at your seats) and now to version 4IFE(Hd highly improved screens)

thanks for honest flight report..Thai flight crews definittly getting worse and worse ..this videos was afew years ago.now 2020. i flew thai alot but most times flight crew was rude ..we love thailand and support their nationoal airline but i will try diffrent next time...
Thai Crews can be different, even in business, some nice, some awful, and: this prejudice with the always smiling Thai is anyway nonsense. The food I have seen in the clip looked not very inviting, I was used to better ones at Thai. If you book early their rates are ok and the connections also. I don´t like the arab lines which forces you to stay in the middle of the night for hours in their airports and Lufthansa is mostly expensive and you never know on what plane you board, so it can be you book LH and find yourself in a SUNEXPRESS or EUROWINGS plane.
Hopefully Thai can change the aircraft for BKK-DXB into A350....

"fresh cabin air" - meaning what?
Things I have noted on Thai air. On the long hauls the senior flight attendants take most of these routes so as they are burned out and bitter imho and really are a pain to deal.

Really disappointed that the service was only 5/10. I would have thought that area that would be exceptional as the personnel are from " The land of smiles" never flown Thai and maybe won't now.

Mike Alpha Aviation every flight I have been on last few years say that not to have the s7 edge turned on because of dodgy battery. Google it.
Mitcho the phone that you refer to is the Samsung Note 7. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge works perfectly fine and has no known battery issues.

The galley area is there workspace and the only place they get privacy. Please don't invade that space
larry strong some airlines GA, SQ, CX,QR allow their passangers to see the galley, they dont even shy away from the cam cause they know that they are being rated.
Pls visit some other travel report vlogs and you can see the difference.
Thai Airways has such a modern and beautiful aircraft but they fly their oldest and shittiest 747 between Sydney and BKK
The A350 will come to Sydney aswell soon. Enjoy the 747 as long as you can since it is going to retire very soon

Only B747 and A380 have first class, they still operate in some route high demand of first class. They plan to retire B747 soon.

Am I missing something or what. That so called meal was more like an afternoon snack. Talk about small! The breakfast was no better with the OJ container being about as big as the meal and certainly bigger than that really small roll they served. It is really disappointing and I would never fly this airline on this route unless things changed for the better and bigger.
Actually the size of the meals is normal like that in economy class. Only the quality could have been a tiny bit better
also the amount of food is getting less and less, not only the quality !

Best of Timelapse.......No I am not fat at all. I just think you should call a meal what it is and not substitute a snack and call it a meal. Also there is the fact that some of us still hold airlines accountable for what they serve and we also remember days past where you actually got a real meal when you flew.
I am sure (seeing from your comment) that you do not sit in Economy Class... :-D
disliked for background music, natural sounds are much better.
