    Thank you so much for this video! I did this same trip on Christmas 2021 with my-now-wife. We had our daughters recently and are looking to make our first holidays with them next year to Thailand.
    In my opinion, sitting in the back of the airplane is the best option when traveling with babies and your video showcased that.
    Close to the toilets, close to the rear galley area to walk around, and hopefully less crowded!

      Great story! On long-haul flights, you can request a bassinet for babys to sleep in.

    I just flew on Thai airways for 2 flights within the past 24 hours and first time in my life flying an airline based in Thailand, and the amount of hospitality I got on both flights was abysmal compared to what your trip reports show:
    1. Manila to Bangkok: I got very little hospitality on this flight. Like only one flight attendant gave me the Thai hospitality when I was walking to my seat after boarding. While deplaning, I actually couldn’t tell if I got the hospitality from one of them cause people were leaving fast. Another one of them skipped me when deplaning, which seemed kind of offensive.
    2. Bangkok to Sydney: I got hospitality on boarding from one flight attendant and from another when getting the dinner service. I unfortunately didn’t get the hospitality when deplaning cause no flight attendants were present to see me out.
    The Bangkok airport gave me plenty though, and at least I am happy I did get at least one Thai hospitality greeting on each of the 2 flights. It’s really just the Thai airlines and the Thai airports that do this hospitality. Other countries, it’s rare to see it happen in airports and on flights. Still not at the level you get on your Thai flights. It helps I don’t look Thai, but still, I did see people who don’t look Thai get more hospitality than I did, especially on that first flight.

      @@a350i Guess in the end it shouldn’t matter as long as they were not rude to you and your flight went well. It also depends on the crew member too I suppose.
      Perhaps with you filming, the flight crew and airport staff wanted your video to capture the full experience.

    Hey a350, thank you very much for the trip report, it's a very nice video! I just flew recently from Zürich to Bangkok with Emirates, 4 times the A380:), it was a very good flight, Emirates is my favourite Airline! And Bangkok is such an amazing city! I also like the A350, it's really quiet and comfortable to fly, and Thai is a very nice Airline! I'd recommend you to visit the Thai Royal Orchid Dining Experience at the Thai headquarter in Bangkok, the food is very good, the location mindblowing and everything is about aviation!:)

    Disappointing to see crew wearing surgical facemasks and horrible rubber gloves. It's like walking into a place of contamination. I'll give Thai a miss after watching this.

    • @ThePatriot-gm1fg

      I understand that THAI has instituted a permanent mask policy. Even in 3 or 5 or 10 years, crew will still be wearing masks.

      @pocky5987 Thai cabin crew stopped wearing masks? I doubt that. Even at Bangkok Airport (and this was last week) they still have mask recommendations on the arrival and departure boards. Only country in the world still doing this.

    • @ThePatriot-gm1fg
      @ThePatriot-gm1fg ปีที่แล้ว

      @nigelwilliams9307 Exactly. My friend flew THAI domestically last Friday and not only were the crew entirely masked, but they had a "mask announcement" at the gate, encouraging passengers to go along with the mental illness of mask wearing. Fortunately, my friend told me, most passengers ignored this, but typical Thai, still trying to brainwash people into what can only be described as a cult.
