      @@mariomifsud1302 Yes! I use them with Yongnuo Speedlights. Any flash with a Bowens type mount will work with speedlight if you buy the speedlight/bowens adapter which can be found in our links below. I recommend them, they have been great.

    When you blend in a shadow or highlight on a colored area, like the one on the creases of the bottle, you will lose saturation. Once you know about it, you will spot it in ads everywhere. Change the blend mode to screen for highlights or multiply/burn for shadows. You can combine that with a normal layer as well, to balance it.

    Thanks for the great videos. Just a question: is that a 5-in-1 reflector/diffuser at subject right? You don't mention it at all throughout and was just wondering what its purpose is. Thanks!

    • @CreativePadMedia
      @CreativePadMedia 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes it's the diffusing panel of the 5-in-1 reflector. It's usually added to diffuse the light more which is necessary in products with reflective surfaces to diffuse the reflection more. Also when kept close, it fills the product surface thereby minimizing the family of angles and lessening the chance of reflection. The only thing is that usually the diffusing panel that is kept in front of the soft box is bigger in size than the softbox itself to make the source of light larger. Here it seems roughly of the same size.

    Super cool vid, thanks you. It would be awesome to make more videos about glossy highlights (like at 1:56). Is there way to overcome tis problem directly on set? I was shooting an glossy magazine and it was crazy.

    • @workphlo
      @workphlo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Directly reflective things can be tricky, ultimately you need to directly reflect something subtle enough it doesn't make the magazine go wild. It can be so tricky at times..
