Oh my god, this is amazing! The cutscene looks awesome, and the Sonic OVA demo track is an amazing touch! Having seen this fangame in progress for years, it's amazing how everything is turning out so far. Great job on this update, and keep up the good work!

Just come across this game. Truly amazing. One question though : I understand once 1.0 comes, we have to unlock the characters, but will we start as Roll ? Currently having a blast playing as her in almost every levels so far.

With how large the game is already we don't think it's necessary for DLC. That being said, we plan on releasing the source files after finishing the game so people would be able to make their own content for MKF
We cut down on the amount of mandatory levels in all worlds because of the game's overall length. You're free to play the optional levels before going to the fortress, however.

In the current version, all characters will be available from the start. Once the final version comes out, they will need to be unlocked.

Yes, Roll will be the very first character available, with Mario joining soon after.

In World 1 now we have only beat 2 Levels before the first Castle in the Grass Section? This is way too short in my Opinion.
