Showing the good and the bad is great about the video 📹.
Love how real you are the good with the bad. You were first on my list. I do miss my sheep.
That lamb with the stiff neck brought back memories Karl.
Used to have a few going back about 20 years ago.
Haven’t had any in a long time.I normally found with a couple of sucks they were fine.
Aye there's a name on it but I can't remember
Comforting to see two men struggling with the 80kg tub. Makes me feel not such an idiot when people see me rolling around with that tub on my own 😆
Busy days with the sheep. You'll be trying the crystalex if you forget to bring food for yourselves.
Cracking video as always
lovely classic sheep you have. best of luck with the lambs.
Not many sheds around to rent and lambing in is big work!
Thanks Patrick
Love you videos keep them up
Excellent video again thanks for sharing Happy Easter
Thanks Terry! You too!
As you channel grows I would see if NZ owned company Gallagher electric fencing company will be a sponsor - as part of that you get their gear and you promote it - the cost difference between electric and fixed fencing is massive - it also means the paddock sizes you choose depending on the time of year, flock size in the paddock, lambs and mothers on new pasture and to lamb in another paddock - the configuation is yours - this is done with Gallagher's solar units - it not always that your father does not want to fence into paddock sizes it the shear cost of doing it
Hi Karl, regenerative farming seems to be what a lot of people are changing back to, fencing is the key and a lot of work in the beginning, however, it's better for the land and better for the stock in the long run. So they say. Great vid as always.
Something to be proud of, earning a living of the wild land you were gathering on.
I suppose so Doug. Although we shear sheep and do a few other things too!
Great video Karl 👌
Too bad the weather would not improve. You will have to pack a lunch to take into the hills. 👍😊👍
im patrick. i wish you the best of every thing in sheep farming
Cheers Patrick!
That’s some office and some view.
Good stuff
Good one fella
Love the trap!
That lamb should straighten up in a few days.Iv,e had a few over the years and they always come good.Maybe the way he was lying in the ewe.
I had a lamb all bent like that. Fed it a couple days and he straightened right up and did lovely. I think it was just cramped up inside of mom.
Half stock full profit, full stock half profit..break my heart keeping a ewe all year to end up pulling a dead lamb from her.seriously id rent a big shed and lamb them inside .
Electric fencing would be cheap and easier to divide the field.
Good gosh that is huge
She might not be able to do it herself
😀
👍🐨
U should have gave the lamb colostrum straight away especially when you don't know how old the lamb is
15:55 Is Twin Lambs, a boy or girl⁉️
Too much grass for the singles maybe ?
8:22 Is Dead Lamb, a boy or girl⁉️
Too bad about the lambs that you lost but the rest seem to be good.
