    Heres a great little tip for removal of wax deposits on trim. Use a soft pencil eraser. Works a treat. Some dummy got white deposits on my plastic trims and nothing seemed to shift them. Pencil eraser did the trick. 🙂👊👊

    • @stevesvids
      @stevesvids ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@skylined5534 don't use the little tiny ones on the ends of pencils as you risk the rubber wearing down or snapping and you'll gouge your plastics with the metal shroud. Use a proper hand held pencil eraser.
      👍👍

      Heat from the friction softens the wax up and the friction also moves it and the rubber deposits just take them away. If you're wondering why it works

    Excellent video. You've shown that Soft99 offer a vast range of products to deal with every task to deal with on the car. They are top drawer products. I own Fusso Coat and Kiwami myself. Your car looks amazing and is protected from the uv rays of the sun.

  • @anguslean4058
    @anguslean4058 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The Fusso mirror shine can be a stand alone but it also is meant to work with Fusso soft 99
    First you do the Fusso soft 99 then allow it to cure
    Then use mirror shine
    You get about 3 months for the mirror shine
    But the Fusso soft 99 lasts a year by itself
    Excellent for the winter months
    I have yet to see any paste wax out last Fusso Soft 99
    It is the King.
    And a can will last for years
    Remember when applying
    No sun
    Put it on thin - thinner -thinnest
    The less the better
    Also keep it off the trim work and headlights.
    Nice Video !

    All of the waxes tested produce great results, I would probably choose the synthetic mirror shine, not just because of its ease of use, but because it doesn’t require any flash off time, whilst still producing a beautiful finish.

    I'm only a year into my enthusiast's journey, and this year I've got waxes to try. It'll be Fusso for the winter but I'm definitely going to grab some Mirror Shine, the ease if use will knock a few minutes off of the process. Thanks for this content. All the best 👍.

    Soft99's best wax is de fusso coat by far. I have used a dozen of waxes and sealants over the years, but always go back to fusso coat. It's teflon based and takes a bit of practice to put on. But it's the longest lasting and slickest wax I ever used.

    Good demo Joe. Even though they are old school, I still love using Soft 99 products! Their "Wash Mist" is a fantastic quick wipedown and light cleaning ability product with a great fresh scent for the interior. I just wish it came in a gallon size! Of course I am a little partial to their products since I have a 370Z!

    It was interesting to see their other products. I have been using Fusso coat for a few years now. I use it all year around, I don't have the time to keep it up as much as I use to. Carnubas don't last long here in the summer, i'm in the far south of the US. Carnubas seem to to last maybe a week or two. The Fusso seems to last at least 6 months. Then you can tell the product is breaking down in spots. I have been curious to try and ceramic, but they tend to be expensive. Keep up the good work.

    It’s a great brand, I’ve got a few tins of fusso coat I use to keep my daily maintained. The stuff is unbelievably long lasting, i recently tested the product and I made it through the entire winter without a wash. Its hydrophobicity was gone, but the depth gauge told me there was still quite a bit of protection left. Can’t recommend the brand enough if you’re not in the market for a coating and need something that you don’t “need” to maintain as regularly, but is highly chemical and road resistant.
