I have to respect your upload schedule when you're also travelling and in a new theme park every day. No idea how you find the time. But many thanks to you both. You're the most wholesome duo on the internet.
Yeh I’ve always wondered how they manage. Can’t imagine trying to upload hour plus vlogs over hotel WiFi or whatever.. it’s impressive. Even if someone is helping editing or uploading, which I don’t think is the case, but even if it was, you’d still have to upload to cloud or whatever. I don’t know how they do it but they do! Mad respect like you say.
If there is such a huge appetite for theme parks in Korea, you really have to wonder why Disney and Universal haven't looked there yet - it seems like there aren't enough parks to support the demand!
South Korea has one of the lowest birth rates in the developed world, meaning there will be fewer kids and families every year going forward, Disney & Universal are probably worried about the long term viability of the market.
My goodness, the queues in that park make a peak day at Disney seem like a breeze. Such a lovely park, but they are in desperate need of more people eater attractions. T Express is such an iconic ride though, glad you guys got on it!
Fun Fact: This park is owned by Samsung Also looks like a blend of European, American and Japanese style parks, but still has a unique charm to it. Very nice!
I think you were sadly locked out for booking T Express the second you reserved the pandas, the app usually only allows one booking from each group ‘a group for rides, b group for shows’ etc to try to allow a fairer distribution. Also public transportation is fantastic in Korea, if you ever return avoid group coaches since they leave early or just use it to get through the group entrance but find your own way back at closing, the park is so great at night. Quieter lines, the moonlight parade covered in lights, and daily fireworks, you can get so much done in those last few hours compared to the day. Everland has a subway line and public buses run direct from Everland back to Gangnam in Seoul. It's a shame your first trip to Everland was on a 'sandwich day.' Possibly one of the worst times outside Halloween for the parks. In Korea, sometimes when the public holiday is on a Tuesday/Thursday, schools will close the day before or after the holiday and big companies encourage employees to use a vacation day up. People are so afraid of public holiday crowds they go on the sandwich day and ironically end up visiting on a busier day. The parks are aware how busy it can be, even though my son's school was closed, we couldn't visit Everland Thursday-Saturday, as it was one of the few blackout days for 350 day pass holders that weren't public holidays. The upside is the weekend after the holidays tend to be quieter so you should have had a good quiet Saturday and Sunday. So many people had visited the parks on the holiday Everland was pretty quiet once pass holders could go back on the Sunday: T Express/X-Train 20-30 minute waits Water rides 40-60 minutes Flat rides 1-2 ride cycle waits Safari rides 60-100 minutes, unfortunately the new cars that replaced the buses for the safari were promoted with two 28 seater trailers, but shortly after opening only pulled one so capacity means a wait even on quiet weekends.
I definitely agree with you Shawn, Everland is a theme park that has it all! It has roller coasters, a safari with wonderful animals - including the pandas, water rides and a whole lot more. Hope you and Charlotte had a sensational time at this park! 😊👍👍👍👍
I am a dutch fan of you 2 , its great to see your vlogs in asia! That dutch part you show was fun! Great Parks and awesome to watch ! Did you know that you can see here in the netherlands also pandas and even koalas? They are located in ouwehands dierenpark Rhenen. Mutch closer to your home. Its right in the middle of our country! Plz keap on vlogging 😎
My girlfriend (Korean) said that lots of people book the Friday and the weekend after Memorial Day off as holiday. This is the reason it’s so unbelievably busy.
Loving the Korea series, something so much more exciting about seeing parks rarely seen before. Yesterdays park was amazing. Also great to see both of you thriving and bringing joy to so many people. Great stuff, keep it up and wish you all the best (and good luck for your wedding later in the year). You deserve all the joy and success you receive.💘
Hi Shawn and Charlotte Wow ive never seen such large queues 😮. Beautiful park lovely scenery. I really laughed at the orangutan 😂😂😂 absolutely fab 😅. Loved the vlog its great sharing new parks with you both ❤. Thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕💕💕💕💕
I’ve only ever done everland once and it was an amazing experience the theming is insane, I only managed to get on t-express by using the app within the first hour I was at the park and secured the reservation I was sad that the extreme roller coaster was closed whilst I visited I do love Korean theme parks prices for food and drinks they’re so much lower than the uk I managed to get bhc fried chicken for under £5
Beautiful park….but not enough to do. And those crowds (with too many flat rides) make it a hard pass. Pretty park though….it’s a “one and done”. Ugh…..in Asia, and you go to the god-awful KFC?!? KFC?!? Ugh. 🤷🏼♂️🤔👎🏻
People who were lucky to ride Eagle's Fortress have nothing but good things to say about, saying the park had 1-2 punch for the like 5 seconds after T-Express opened. I guess its technically still there in parts so it won't be as easy as what Busch Gardens Williamsburg is rumored to do with their Big Bad Wolf 2 rumors
Great video Shawn and Charlotte from Everland, Korea's Largest theme park, Korea's LARGEST Theme Park! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte. 😃😎👍👍
44:40 It probably felt like Balder because it literally is Balder. After the mid course, the rest of the layout is a clone of Balder. My understanding is the park wanted to combine the best elements of El Toro with Balder, so Intamin simply took Balder and added an El Toro inspired start to the ride!
Just wow!! Beautiful park but yes, they need like 10 more rides to thin things out a little. They more than have the space and obviously the people coming in to afford that!! I think the longest I have ever waited for a ride was 60 minutes and that was within the first week of Diamondback opening at Kings Island and that was pushing it for me 😉!
They could also benefit from the addition of a few new coasters: - Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster - Bolliger and Mabillard (B&M) Mini Dive Coaster - Vekoma Suspended Thrill Coaster (STC) - Vekoma Bermuda Blitz Coaster (similar to Lech Coaster at Legendia)
16:00. If you are there on Friday 7th of June it is usually a bridge day from Thursday’s Memorial Day … bit like a Boxing Day (after Christmas Day in UK) or a Black Friday after thanksgiving in US. That is why loads of kids are there.
Greetings from the netherlands 🤟what a Hugh and beautiful park this is ,love the vlogs so far ,and heard charlotte sing the other day in the karaoke wheel, goosebumps all over 🔥
It is a shame that the park owner group of this massive park does not have any interest in investment in thrill ride/roller coaster department. Honestly I would be surprised if we get a new coaster in the next 10 years. Not investing a shit on a amusement park is considered normal in Korea thanks to Everland and Lotteworld.😢😢
Love Pandas!! so glad you got to see them . All the animals looked great . Even the loads of guinea pigs LOL Story there were such crowds maybe people still off from the Monday holiday.
It's always a good day when there's a TPW vlog, cheers guys. lol that Ripsaw looky likey looked intense...About the worst kept secret is it's coming back to Alton Towers.
Hi Shawn and Charlotte. Wow that was definitely a busy day. Looks like you managed to get most of the things you wanted to go on though. At least you saw some of the animals. I’d love to see Pandas 🐼 Take care. Nick
Looks like you guys are the only British tourists there lol I've noticed that these people don't raise there hands in the air while on the coasters. Did you see that?
Wow that looked crazy ,all those people . Something tells me you will go back there one day for a few days ,just to try and do some of the other attractions . Great vlog again and i did laugh at the monkey zip line lol. The pandas looked beautiful ,glad you both got to see them .
I'm glad you got your T-Express credit. I agree that the back half is repetitive, but I still enjoyed it. We got to ride a few times and it warmed up nicely for our last ride.
The wait times in Orlando can be shocking in school holidays. I waited way over 3 1/2 hours for Avatar once and over 90 mins for loads of other rides over the yrs
You learn something every day! Pandas are a type of bear, so they can stand on two legs, but mostly all four. I understand how you would make that mistake though… they look kinda like humans in a panda costumes so you would expect them to walk like humans too. Plus most of the cartoon depictions out there show them on two feet, not four.
Another day and another unique park. The overall theming was nice. Shame you had such big crowds so you couldn't experience everything. It was great you got to see the guineau pigs though lol and Shawn has nicely clean shoes lol
So pleased to see you both having an amazing time! Living vicariously through your work - so grateful for all the effort you put in to get these videos out ❤
Crazy to see a 160 minutes waiting time for T-express. I remember I rode this coaster 3 times in a row in the evening back in 2010. The waiting time back then was less than 5 minutes. Riding T-express in the dark was amazing.
@@ThemeParkWorldwide It looked really busy indeed! I still remember my last time at Everland very well. A weekday in fall/winter, just before closing time, no waiting lines at all. Riding T-express in the pitch dark with cold wind blowing in your face was a great feeling :)
If you're planning to visit Everland, avoid vacation seasons (January, February, July and August. Also, Definitely avoid Weekends all the time😂😂 There's too few theme parks in Korea..
I honestly think this park is in need of another couple of major coasters. Hard to understand how they still haven't added another major coaster since T-Express in 2007
I have to respect your upload schedule when you're also travelling and in a new theme park every day. No idea how you find the time. But many thanks to you both. You're the most wholesome duo on the internet.

Korea needs more theme parks. There's a major demand for them 😦
Everland isn't that good nowadays because they only pay attention to pandas.
Or just another tugboat.
It was so busy!
My goodness, the queues in that park make a peak day at Disney seem like a breeze. Such a lovely park, but they are in desperate need of more people eater attractions. T Express is such an iconic ride though, glad you guys got on it!
