21:57 Fun fact: the ship with the name survivor has the remaining 'pirates' from the fire. Those were the only ones to survive the disaster and Europa Park decided to keep them and display them in the new ride version.
I genuinely cried when Zauberwelt Der Diamanten burned down. It was my childhood and my favourite walkthrough at a theme park, the only one I’d do every time I visited. The scenery was gorgeous and the music was amazing, I really hope they don’t change it too much.
I went for 3 days in June and I can honestly say I was blown away by Europa Park. It`s amazing. Everything about it is top notch. The rides, the theming, the operations., the shows, the food and drinks. The full package. Special mention to the staff who are not only friendly and happy to help but the way they get those trains etc filled and out of the station is the best I`ve ever seen. There`s a lot of parks who could learn a lot from EP. One thing of note is that all the staff wear name badges with small flags on them denoting which languages they speak something I haven`t seen anywhere else and is IMO an excellent idea. I have a couple of minor gripes as in I couldn`t buy a 3 days ticket and had to buy 1 for 2 days and a further one for the third day and that some of the indoor rides could do with some better Air Con for the queue lines as when I was there it was over 90 degrees every day and it got uncomfortably hot waiting in line but as I said they are just minor thing that certainly didn`t take away from my enjoyment of this wonderful park. If you are thinking of going just do it. You won`t regret it as this is, if not the best park in the World, certainly amongst the top 5.
I also was there in June lol. But i got a slightly different oppinion, Yes, the park is great, themingwise, but they lacking in terms of coaster quality...They got so many coasters, but none of them, except Wodan is world class. They just some average coasters. They have many great Dark Rides though... But for their coasters...at least they working on a new one, which shall be opened in 2024. And the new coaster looks quite promising.
The look on Charlotte's face is priceless when she's on water rides. It's amazing to me how riding on crazy coasters doesn't bother her but on water rides... especially the rapids...she looks horrified.😂❤
Love this video. Amazing how much you were able to do in one day, and love how the video has everything.. Coasters, dark rides, water rides, flats, and transportation. Honestly, looked like the ideal park day! Sean summed it up perfectly at the end while on the observation tower when he said "what a beautiful day"

I've been thinking of watching one of your old europa park vlogs for quite a while now, and we finally got a new one! Hoping I might get here and Phantasialand next year as they both look like great parks with amazing theming and coasters!
1.5 weeks ago I've been to Europa Park for the first time. And I love this park sooooo much! When talking about ride variety and entertainment this is definitely the best park I've ever been too! When talking about atmosphere I still think Phantasialand is a little higher on my list. Great park!
ride variety yes, i agree. But ride quality is way too low. Just Wodan really shines. Phantasialand hast both, great ride variety and quality... For me Europa Park is rank 3 maybe even just rank 4 of all parks in germany. I'd rank 2 parks higher that Europa Park. At least 2 parks...Phantasialand and Hansa Park. Im not sure if i should Europa Park or Tripsdrill rank 3...
Europa Park vlogs always hit different, there doesn't to be such a thing as a bad day at Europa Park, and with elite operations and world class themed areas the walks and waits between rides are nearly as entertaining as the rides themselves. Once I get the chance to visit Germany again I'm going for 3 days at minimum - there's just too much to see and do to only give myself 2 days, especially when strolling leisurely through the beautiful park is half the fun. Really looking forward to your Rulantica vlog too, one of my bucket list water parks just for how much they have for all ages inside and out!
Dont expect too much from Rulantica. I already was there, and it didnt live up to the hype for me. Its quite expensive, Wellness area costs extra. Its also not as big as you might think, despite having so many slides. And the food is very expensive as well, but at least its tasty and you got a good mix of different foods. Burger (freshly made), Pizza, Pasta and more There is at least one german water park i would prefer over Rulantica, which is the so called "HanseDom" in Stralsund (North-East-Germany) Dont get me wrong. I really like Rulantica, but i like HanseDom a tiny bit more, even though this water park has far less slides.
@@ThemeParkWorldwide If you like waterparks, i can recommand another really good one, which i also visit in autumn later this year. Its the so called "HanseDom". This park is located in Stralsund, in northeast-germany. This park hasnt got as many slides as Rulantica, and maybe not as extreme ones. But never the less i like it more than Rulantica. HanseDom is a bit cheaper, a bit smaller but also has some nice theming. This water park isnt on the radar of many enthusiasts from other countries though. But as i said, if you like waterparks, check it out some day^^
Shaun you are amazing, I've noticed after every video you post you always try your best to go through each comment and reply, not many vloggers do that and you have been doing it for years. Keep it up. Love your work.
Nice to see that you both are still loving that park so much after travelling the world and visiting so many different parks...and Voltron looks like its gonna be a supreme coaster...it`s gonna make the park even better...
Shawn and Charlotte, That one ride is reminiscent of the Pirates of the Caribbean in California. Europa Park is absolutely amazing, their attention to every detail shows the pride that the owners pass on to the employees. Charlotte you are becoming such a brave soldier on the water rides! That rise is so scenic, it's worth the splash! Blue Coaster is such a fun ride, they really know how to mix them up. Bowden...Wow.. I am so happy for them allowing P.O.V.s and food on the boats etc. That really make the experience so comfortable that I wonder why other parks don't follow this program.? Just a brilliant day for both of you! Cheers, Rik Spector
My daughter and me kept going on euro Mir so we could listen and dance in the queue line. Also play the music on TH-cam when walking home from work sometimes.
Europa Park might not be as immersive as Phantasialand but the variety of coasters, flatrides and darkrides is immense. And they've still got room for expansion.
Europa Park is very un-themed in some places. It is never really immersive. You just feel like you stepped in a replica of something, mostly because of the annoying product placements EVERYWHERE
Great vlog TPW crew. Europa Park certainly up there with the best park in Europe it’s beautifully laid out, has some fantastic dark rides and brilliant coasters. The theming here has to be the best out of all the theme parks. So funny seeing Charlotte getting soaked or about to on the water rides. Big thumbs up👍
A great video. Thanks to both of you! I was again in Europa-Park in 2023 (from August 2nd to August 7th and in Rulantica on August 5th). I've stayed at the Santa Isabel and again it was fantastic. I love the park and its resort. I'm really looking forward to the new roller coaster. Admittedly, I'm still not a fan of the new Eurosat and Josefina isn't mine either, but I'm still enthusiastic about the new pirates (and the old animatronics from the jungle ride also fit well into the ride) and Europa-Park continues to offer that in general many great attractions, themed areas and hotels. :) Have a great time and thank you again.
The Swiss event you were referring to at the beginning of the Vlog, was the Swiss National Day on the 1st of August 🇨🇭 Been loving your content lately, and I always love to see you enjoy my home park! Greetings from Switzerland 😉
Hi Shaun and Charlotte. Another great Vlog. I was really hoping for a travel vlog when you announced the trip as it appears not so simple to get to..? Would love to go here for 2 days then Phantasia land for 2 days... looks amazing!! 👍
This is definitely one of my bucket list parks, and i wouldnt have evn known about it if it wasnt for your videos which originally got me interested in theme parks!
That coaster/dark ride is really an impressive looking ride. Would love to see that kind of system used more often. Seems like it would be a very good way to introduce the feel of a big coaster but with less of the intimidation of a huge structure, because of the train and ride design. Big, bulky track and train, but the experience itself appears relatively mild.
Hi shawn and Charlotte great vlog Europa park looks so good . I have to try and get there at some point. Thankyou for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Europa Park is on mine and my sister's bucket list. It looks so amazing and beautiful. The number and variety of rides and the theming is fantastic. A lot of UK themeparks can learn so much from this park.
We were considering Port Aventura but your videos helped us decide to not go there, not enough rides that aren't out to destroy the spine. I've wanted to do Europa Park for years and this video sold it to wifey, we're booked and going the second week of June! Keep up the great vids guys
Going back next March , thanks for your vlogs , it keeps me going between holidays😆 Hopefully the new rollercoaster will be open. It really is for all ages, beautiful park
I went a week ago by the time I sent this message 🎉 I Rate this park a 10/10! Theming and the rides honestly just hit me! I live in north Lincolnshire so we had to drive such a long way! Not to mention the 2 hour plane flight and about 5 30 minute buses we had to go on! But it was absolutely worth it! With me I was shocked with Arthur that it used to be the worlds BEST ride! It was good too! Silver star is a classic, but I don’t really think rollercoasters with no loops, twists or inversions really catch my eye. Though that didn’t take me of the beautiful nature of this park! And poisiden! Oh my days that was prime. The water coaster vibes got REAL here! The style and the quality of the waiting line! I love the medusa arch at the start! I like the water feature were a man spits water on you 😂Poisiden might be my favourite ride in EP! I also enjoyed Athena! Relaxing ride as you said and....um.....the curse of Cassandra 😅 Yeah I flipped out when I went on that! Now let’s talk about the volatarian! My second fave ride in the park! It felt like I was ACTUALLY flying! I loved the otters at the waiting line in the pirate ride! If you want to go to EP and get at least a 2 night stay, BOOK NOW! Trust me I have seen it and It and it is JAM PACKED! I only got a ONE DAY STAY! Geez! Yeah book now if you wanna get 2 nights or 3! Seriously! People are here 24/7!! Europa park was a big W! I loved it! I REALLY Loved it! If you visited your lucky! Thnx ❤
Stayed at ringsheim for 8 nights with my daughter and came back last Sunday night. The weather was like that pretty much everyday. Europa park is great and we took a trip to holiday park and the hyper coaster there is mental but definitely needs more leg room ☺
I went to Europa Park last march and it was so cool! The theming here is insane and there are so many "hidden" rides. Loved it, Wodan was my absolute favorite. That back row is VIOLENT 🤣🤣 We had barely any queues in march (and great weather, we were lucky). Also went to Rulantica and enjoyed that to the max with Zero queues lmao. Definitely a must do park!

Now this looks like a very cool park and with some friendly staff too. Great to see the POV's, and perhaps more parks should treat you like the professionals you are and let you film. Maybe offer an accreditation pass? Anyway, another great vlog guys.
We stayed at Hotel Castillo Alcazar when we went this summer, we were there during the fire and they moved us to Colosseo and my god both hotels were incredible. Definitely recommend staying in the hotels if you go
You introduced us to EP through your vlogs and the direct train service from Paris makes the journey so much easier when we visited in June, a couple of days before that fire, pleased we were able to enjoy all of the attractions affected. Was really impressed with the Magic show and Spanish arena with horses and a camel and if you're lucky free chocolate coins - you fully deserve some Sanbrooke time together now, was great to watch this bumper edition and start planning our next visit
I'm going in a few weeks! does anyone know if you're supposed to book the restaurants in the park? I can only find how to book hotel restaurants, not places like Bamboe Baai in piraten in batavia or Restaurant Castillo? Am I missing something? Thank you!
Another great video Shawn and Charlotte, we usually just go to alton towers and chessington, maybe in the future we could go to Europa Park, it looks great!
Last week me and my family spending 2 days at Europapark and my childeren had a lot of fun at Europapark and the weather was a littel bit better.Nice vlog afterall
Me & my family were there on the same day (1st August). Watched your video over and over again, but regretfully could not find ourselves somewhere walking in the background. Maybe we were just walking too fast in order to catch as many attractions as possible 😄. We were there for 3 days, but it feels like you need at least 5 days to really see everything (incl. the shows). In summer 2024 we initially planned to go to Phantasialand, but now we decided it will be Europa Park again 🙂. Thanks so much for your video!!!
Such a lovely vlog! Thanks for showing everyone that even if its raining, you can still have great time at theme park! Can't wait to go back to EP in a month.
Hi guys just out of interest how much were your flights and tickets to get in please? Any good hotels nearby? This park looks amazing with excellent themes and dare I say it but nearly as good as a Disney Park?
Wow you did so much in 1 day. We couldn’t believe the efficiency of ride operations at this park when we only went for 1 day. Hoping to go next Summer with our little boy who will be 2 then. Great vlog keep them coming.
The best restaurant i've ever been to in any theme park is the self service restaurant that can be seen at 1:04:37 next to Geisterschloss. Incredibly cheap, massive portions and the amount of options is crazy
I get why they have to put up the walls for Wodan but I feel like doing a full tunnel is so much better. Just looking at how well it works with Wickerman makes me hopeful that Europa Park will provide a full cover, possibly until halfway of the first drop. Hope you guys have made a trip down to the HasenHorn Rodelbahn. Alpine Coaster of 2.9km! A little bit over an hour away but you get to drive through beautiful mountain landscapes. The Black Forest area has so much to give.
A great park! Was there two weeks ago with my Sister, heading down again tomorrow for a few days with my wife Shazz! Silver Star a great start to the day for us!
What a wonderful place I would love to go it's so lovely and clean and everything looked really well kept the water all looked beautiful as well my fave was the Arthur ride I would really love that and the other dark rides looked great would love to take the grandchildren thankyou guys enjoy your time there xxx
Another great video! I went a few weeks ago and met dominik, europas head of marketing and pr as I was being interviewed by a radio station on blue fire, it was challenging to say the least 😂! I told him about your channel and your travel vlogs and how helpful they were for me, he said he's going to check out your channel. I didn't go to rulantica so that'll be the next video I watch!

That back row is VIOLENT 🤣🤣 We had barely any queues in march (and great weather, we were lucky). Also went to Rulantica and enjoyed that to the max with Zero queues lmao. Definitely a must do park!
It’s a brilliant park!
Log flumes phenomenon weeeeeeeeeeeet amazing rideeeeeeeeeeeeee
10 Poseidon 9 Swiss bob run 8 Matterhorn blitz 7 eurosat cancan coaster 6 voletarium 5 piraten in batavia new 4 euro Mir 3 blue fire 2 Wodan timburcoaster 1 silver star
Now this looks like a very cool park and with some friendly staff too. Great to see the POV's, and perhaps more parks should treat you like the professionals you are and let you film. Maybe offer an accreditation pass? Anyway, another great vlog guys.
Thank you!
No matter how many times I watch POVs of Arthur, I get shocked to hear Still D.R.E. 😅
I'm glad you've put this vlog up as we're going next weekend!
Have fun!
I miss Europa park
We stayed at Hotel Castillo Alcazar when we went this summer, we were there during the fire and they moved us to Colosseo and my god both hotels were incredible. Definitely recommend staying in the hotels if you go
The hotels are beautiful!
I love Europepark 💙💙💙
It’s beautiful
You two are so adorable!!! I love your videos!!!
Thank you!
It’s such a wonderful park! Thanks for watching!
Blimey you both get around , good for you , have a great time
I felt the blue fire over bank in my stomach just watching it, wow!
I found it funny when Charlotte screamed on the ride at 57:05. 57:10
Going back end of Nov this park for me is the best in winter with all the Christmas trees up! ❤❤
Love the videos
You both are always so happy and seem to be the perfect match for each other!!
Thank you!
We love it!
Voltron looks phenomenal. So excited for the Voltron ‘first ride and review’ vlog.
Very excited for it!
I'm going in a few weeks! does anyone know if you're supposed to book the restaurants in the park?
I can only find how to book hotel restaurants, not places like Bamboe Baai in piraten in batavia or Restaurant Castillo?
Am I missing something?
Thank you!
You can usually just queue up and wait!
Fab! thank you for the clarification Shawn! @@ThemeParkWorldwide
Another great video Shawn and Charlotte, we usually just go to alton towers and chessington, maybe in the future we could go to Europa Park, it looks great!
Thank you! We definitely recommend it!
Always wanted to go here, bucket list park!
Love it!
My favourite park in the whole world 😍
Another great vlog, guys. Love this park, it looks really amazing/interesting. xx
Thank you!
I really enjoy the two of you 🙏
Its such an incredible park just wish we had something of that quality back in the uk
So do we!
Last week me and my family spending 2 days at Europapark and my childeren had a lot of fun at Europapark and the weather was a littel bit better.Nice vlog afterall
This park is definitely on our bucket list! 🎢
Thank you for watching!
This is one of your longest videos yet! Great as always
Thank you!
What an awesome vlog! I’ve really enjoyed watching this tonight thank you! Europa park is top of my list to visit next year, it looks amazing! 🤩😃
Thank you!
Thanks friends for getting me in the holiday spirit!!
Have fun!
Hi guys just out of interest how much were your flights and tickets to get in please?
Any good hotels nearby? This park looks amazing with excellent themes and dare I say it but nearly as good as a Disney Park?
It’s such a brilliant park! Check out our Europa Park travel guide on the channel for more details ➡️ th-cam.com/video/IScwbll9tnI/w-d-xo.html
Wow you did so much in 1 day. We couldn’t believe the efficiency of ride operations at this park when we only went for 1 day. Hoping to go next Summer with our little boy who will be 2 then. Great vlog keep them coming.
It’s such a great park!
FINALLYYYY MY HOME PARK ❤️ so excited ❤️ I am so glad you like it!
Always love coming here!
Wow what a park!!!! They have Disney beat on themes. Great video!
It’s a beautiful park
a lot of great vibes in this video! fantastic park!
Thank you!
The best restaurant i've ever been to in any theme park is the self service restaurant that can be seen at 1:04:37 next to Geisterschloss. Incredibly cheap, massive portions and the amount of options is crazy
It’s great!
Love how i was just craving a europa park video and yours comes up first in the search 🤣
Thanks for watching!
I'm so jealous of you guys getting to travel as a couple, too cute
It’s great fun!
I’d like to see them do a full tunnel instead! We rode it a few years ago and loved it!
How good would it be if Universal updated ET to the Arthur ride system. Would be ideal!
That would be epic!
A great park! Was there two weeks ago with my Sister, heading down again tomorrow for a few days with my wife Shazz! Silver Star a great start to the day for us!
It’s epic!
What a wonderful place I would love to go it's so lovely and clean and everything looked really well kept the water all looked beautiful as well my fave was the Arthur ride I would really love that and the other dark rides looked great would love to take the grandchildren thankyou guys enjoy your time there xxx
Thank you for watching!
I sat infront of you in Euromir with a black Jacket 😂😂
Hope you had fun!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide It was very funny😁
Awsome video shawn!
Awesome Video Guys 😊
Another great video! I went a few weeks ago and met dominik, europas head of marketing and pr as I was being interviewed by a radio station on blue fire, it was challenging to say the least 😂! I told him about your channel and your travel vlogs and how helpful they were for me, he said he's going to check out your channel. I didn't go to rulantica so that'll be the next video I watch!
Thank you!
Pirates of Batavia probably exceeds Disney's Pirates of the Carribean in beauty!! ❤
It’s stunning!
