While if you enjoy fanmade stuff that's cool, it has to be kept separate from official events. Golden Boy he’s literally an Anti-villain. A person who is a villain with non-villainous qualities. For one, refrains from killing heroes. 2). Has a soft spot for kids 3). His whole big endgame plan was to have everyone in the world be united against him 4). Literally like if a shonnen protagonist was the antagonist (gets the shit kicked out of him but manages to live by the skin of his teeth on MULTIPLE occasions)
Now I’m imagining Izuku sparring with Iida, he gets kicked in the back of the head, realizes he can use his legs as an alternative, and then Gran Torino and the school nurse trying to beat some sense into him because they think “oh no now this kid is gonna break his legs”

WEBCOMIC SPOILERS AHEAD: And this is why he loses to Saitama while mopping the floor with all S-Rank heroes: Saitama isn't popular. He's even hated by some. Garou loses to what he could have become had he not chosen the Path of a Monster, but the Path of a Hero. Saitama even calls him out on it. He says that deep down, Garou wants to be a hero, which is why he saved the kid every time but he chose being a Monster because that was easier to do.
Garou is without a doubt my favourite OPM character! I've been dying to see him in the anime because the manga made me fall in love with his character!

@tailor John I don’t know Madara’s plan because I couldn’t finish Shippuden plus Boruto sucks pretty bad. OG Naruto is the greatest. Anyways, I spoiled it for myself… not really a fan of Madara’s plan at all. He basically wants to trap everyone in an infinite hypnosis so there’s no more wars or hatred. Sure that’s one way of doing things, but honestly nobody is truly alive at that point. Nobody is themselves and life is meaningless without actually living it the way you would. He had good intentions but I don’t agree with his plan. I did agree with Kira though. Killing criminals did not make me dislike him. Imo criminals are not worth taking care of. We don’t need to house them in prison giving them beds and blankets and food, etc… Light/Kira did get carried away with his goal but I don’t blame him. He got corrupted by the power of the death note and lost himself. Not only that he had no other option in order to achieve his goal because he couldn’t let others catch him. He gave them warnings not to try and catch him but they still perused him. They knew the risk which was their own life if they went after Kira.
What I love about Garou is his ambition, his mad determination. Something that you can get from a damaged childhood or long term painful experiences. This song gives the impression that you're about to feel that determination, and that you should fear it and dare not get in its way. Because by far that person's been hurt. And they're gonna hurt you for one reason or another.
One reason I like the Garou arc so much is how One made a villain the protagonist of the story despite the fact that he's a villain. The entire arc revolves around him, like to any other shonen heroes, he fights beings that get stronger and stronger as Garou never dies despite how unbeatable the situation is and only gets stronger. One transforms a Shonen cliche once again (like how he did to Saitama) and turns the over used and most looked down upon cliche into one of the best arcs in manga/anime/ history.
One gave us two very popular shonen protagonist types as the villains for two arcs, with Boros being a very pointed reference to Goku and his quest for stronger foes taken to an extreme, and Garou being the story of the hero being constantly downtrodden his entire life, only to keep getting back up and show that he is willing to become the force that pushes back at those who would harm those weaker than themselves. Both so far are extremely well written takes on what would typically be heroes corrupted by their own ideologies.

Only in terms of him getting away at the end. His battles were on equal levels with some of the S ranks. When he got destroyed at the end though, yeah, that was plot reasons.
Garou, a character that shows a very important thing to keep in mind. There is always more to a human then what you see on the surface. Does not matter who you are talking about, every human has a lesson to learn from. Even humans deemed to be monsters.
A bit late but I agree, people tend to think murderers etc don't deserve forgiveness and should be killed, but they don't understand that even people like that have another side in them. For all we know they might be the ones who want help
@@furutatheclown3619 Well, I will say that what I am talking about isn't really aimed at murderers, but more those that are demonized. For example, the propaganda term "Incel" is often used to shame men into submission, so people often don't try to understand what the man is going through. Given I was a very lonely man, I am very familiar with that pain, so I don't use such a term. In the case of actual criminality, it's a case of innocent till proven guilty. However, when it comes to the time of the arrest, the police should be careful, people who are actually criminals are basically misanthropes that will do anything because they are basically suicidal. However, in that case, my solution would be a prevention one. One key thing that will help a lot is to let men be fathers. Most of these criminals, as well as other who's misanthropy is great, lack a father figure to teach them self control and to control their emotions into more helpful forms. As for the cases I had in mind, I would say don't assume hatred when a man shows pain of some kind.
After Lord Boros and his amazing theme music (which was reused for Flashy Flash and Elder Centipede) so many of us anxiously awaited what they would do for Garou. Say what you will about Season 2 but every single moment Garou was on screen to the use of his themes it was fire. The absolute highlights of the season - also when it received the best animation. While it’s true he’s a villain, it’s hard to see him as an antagonist when the story presents him as the protagonist. Especially during the final few episodes, so many found themselves rooting for him instead of the heroes. Nux Taku did a pretty good look into his character so I recommend looking that up.. They did right by him with his music and I cannot wait to hear the new versions going into Season 3 and beyond.

I remember when Bang and Bomb were talking before going to hunt down garou, and when Bomb asked if he made all his arrangements, Bang pretty much implied that he had nothing left after Garou destroyed his dojo and beat up his students. Garou isn't a monster. He's misguided at best and a bully at worse. Him running away after finally being stopped just made him look like a coward.

Kyler Evans that means a lot thanks! Dating back to the Dark Energy Intensified I feel that songs can be extended while rearranging them in a way I feel flows. It’s fun to experiment with, some tracks just don’t loop easily or if they do I see moments where I could move something or extend a portion here and there. It wasn’t until I made my DIO mix (th-cam.com/video/pCYflYoo7Wo/w-d-xo.html) that I began combining themes if possible. I like to start most of these with a slower buildup then hold it at the action parts, making that loop before closing out with the original track’s ending. I never liked the idea of playing a song, then when it ends it just starts up again. I want it continuous as if you were fighting the character in a boss fight. If its a softer song like Garou’s sad theme it’s more or less a relaxing tune to have in the background for 15 minutes while you relax, read, draw or work. In the end I found that my extensions differ from others to where it does become its own song in a way. So I title them accordingly and put the original tracks name in the description. Not every time of course, either because I can’t think of a name lol or it’s a song that I couldn’t do much to change so I just extended it finding a place to loop without it just starting from the beginning each time.
All due respect to other extensions and those that make them of course. There are plenty I listen to all across TH-cam. My little corner here is for tracks I want to give my own flair and if people love it, then I’m glad. Sometimes I’ll hear a track and get inspiration to do it myself because like you said those hype parts lol I want to hear more of it!
I've been waiting for this. Garou went from a character I didn't really care about to one of my favorite characters of all time in 2.3 episodes flat (end of episode 10 all the way to episode 12).

Patrick Myers thank you so much for that! When I first put it up, my programs were lagging behind so every time I listened to it prior to uploading some of it didn’t sound right to me. Now that I’ve listened to it several times over on here I’m pretty satisfied with it. As it stands there’s only some minor revisions I could make to it. One might say I’m waiting for inspiration to strike before I tackle a new version. I wish there had been at least one more action packed Garou theme this season to mix with it. There’s Longing (Sad theme) sure and combining them is very much possible but having it extend is a bit iffy. I’m sure Season 3 will introduce an even more badass variation as he gets more and more powerful. Thank you again though and I’m glad you’ve listened to it plenty of times!

We all love Garou. I can feel how he feels, that society is corrupted. The only anime I ever got attached to. I am not an emotional person but this anime made me really sad still, I couldn't cry and was writhing in anguish. This anime pierced my heart, there are so many heroes who are giving their lives to protect others even though they are weak but their will is strong. And there are people who got traumatized by society so much that they think the heroes are bad. Universe please help me go into One Punch Man World, The Universe is limitless it's infinite anything is possible. I want to fight alongside the undying heroes and save the people instead. 10:15

It’s moments like these when I wonder. The Seer Boros spoke to, I wonder if she meant Garou. He was told “you will meet someone who can give you the challenge you seek”. Garou is essentially an anti-Villain and the possible destruction of the earth would be enough reason for him to fight Boros.

With, as ONE said, superior melee capabilities and technique, but inferior mobility and no ranged options. Boros is probably stronger in his Meteoric Burst, but Boros' issue here is putting Garou down. Because if he doesn't go for the cannon very quickly, Garou would overcome him. Garou couldn't beat Saitama because he was lying to himself, trying to become a monster when he wanted to be a hero. Garou's strength was born of a false ambition and true grit, which couldn't even come close to overcoming Saitama's strength born of both. Boros has no such power - he's just a very strong alien. Unlike Garou, nothing suggests he'd actively grow stronger during the fight, while Garou went from barely surviving to handing Darkshine Superalloy his ass in a matter of moments. Bloodlusted Boros would have a chance, but in character Garou would win every time. That's not even factoring in the possibility of him choosing to become a hero in the face of the space tyrant and walking the same reality-breaking path Saitama did.
Priam Neville Garou did state that he wanted to unify the world against him but I think he would settle for taking Boros down as it’s his home. Garou was willing to risk heavy injuries and possible death to protect a kid he didn’t know, and he attacked the monster association to protect the same kid.

He literally says this stuff during flashbacks; I’m not sure how you missed it? And developing characters to not just be good or bad, isn’t childish; it’s actually good writing, it just requires audiences to have some mental capacity. If I need to “wake up”, then I’d imagine you’re straight up in a coma.

They call him a villain, but he fights fair and square (he doesn't want help from monsters and dislikes them), he protects children and he fights for such honorable values. In my opinion he's more heroic than some class A/S heroes.

Garou, a character that shows a very important thing to keep in mind. There is always more to a human then what you see on the surface. Does not matter who you are talking about, every human has a lesson to learn from. Even humans deemed to be monsters.
A bit late but I agree, people tend to think murderers etc don't deserve forgiveness and should be killed, but they don't understand that even people like that have another side in them.

@@furutatheclown3619 Well, I will say that what I am talking about isn't really aimed at murderers, but more those that are demonized. For example, the propaganda term "Incel" is often used to shame men into submission, so people often don't try to understand what the man is going through. Given I was a very lonely man, I am very familiar with that pain, so I don't use such a term.
In the case of actual criminality, it's a case of innocent till proven guilty. However, when it comes to the time of the arrest, the police should be careful, people who are actually criminals are basically misanthropes that will do anything because they are basically suicidal.
However, in that case, my solution would be a prevention one. One key thing that will help a lot is to let men be fathers. Most of these criminals, as well as other who's misanthropy is great, lack a father figure to teach them self control and to control their emotions into more helpful forms.
As for the cases I had in mind, I would say don't assume hatred when a man shows pain of some kind.

After Lord Boros and his amazing theme music (which was reused for Flashy Flash and Elder Centipede) so many of us anxiously awaited what they would do for Garou. Say what you will about Season 2 but every single moment Garou was on screen to the use of his themes it was fire. The absolute highlights of the season - also when it received the best animation.
While it’s true he’s a villain, it’s hard to see him as an antagonist when the story presents him as the protagonist. Especially during the final few episodes, so many found themselves rooting for him instead of the heroes. Nux Taku did a pretty good look into his character so I recommend looking that up.. They did right by him with his music and I cannot wait to hear the new versions going into Season 3 and beyond.

I remember when Bang and Bomb were talking before going to hunt down garou, and when Bomb asked if he made all his arrangements, Bang pretty much implied that he had nothing left after Garou destroyed his dojo and beat up his students. Garou isn't a monster. He's misguided at best and a bully at worse. Him running away after finally being stopped just made him look like a coward.
This is where every hero in a one mile radius is now unconscious and bleeding to death

Kyler Evans that means a lot thanks! Dating back to the Dark Energy Intensified I feel that songs can be extended while rearranging them in a way I feel flows. It’s fun to experiment with, some tracks just don’t loop easily or if they do I see moments where I could move something or extend a portion here and there. It wasn’t until I made my DIO mix (th-cam.com/video/pCYflYoo7Wo/w-d-xo.html) that I began combining themes if possible.
I like to start most of these with a slower buildup then hold it at the action parts, making that loop before closing out with the original track’s ending. I never liked the idea of playing a song, then when it ends it just starts up again. I want it continuous as if you were fighting the character in a boss fight. If its a softer song like Garou’s sad theme it’s more or less a relaxing tune to have in the background for 15 minutes while you relax, read, draw or work.
In the end I found that my extensions differ from others to where it does become its own song in a way. So I title them accordingly and put the original tracks name in the description. Not every time of course, either because I can’t think of a name lol or it’s a song that I couldn’t do much to change so I just extended it finding a place to loop without it just starting from the beginning each time.
All due respect to other extensions and those that make them of course. There are plenty I listen to all across TH-cam. My little corner here is for tracks I want to give my own flair and if people love it, then I’m glad.
Sometimes I’ll hear a track and get inspiration to do it myself because like you said those hype parts lol I want to hear more of it!

I've been waiting for this. Garou went from a character I didn't really care about to one of my favorite characters of all time in 2.3 episodes flat (end of episode 10 all the way to episode 12).

I wanted to leave a message to myself when i first made this comment it was before i went through hell osteoarthritis,lupus sle, pulmonary embolism low platelets hospitalised for a year painkillers couldn't even ease the pain 2020 was physical pain at its peak begging my parents to take my own life just to escape the pain and after all that pain i become so strong and just when i thought i was the most powerful man of all due to what i had gone through in 2022 lasted till 2023 i had suffered heartbreak i now i am mentally and physically invincible i have only one purpose to become more i have to become More in every field truly as cringe as it sounds a monster this world doesn't want anything else from me

Patrick Myers thank you so much for that! When I first put it up, my programs were lagging behind so every time I listened to it prior to uploading some of it didn’t sound right to me. Now that I’ve listened to it several times over on here I’m pretty satisfied with it. As it stands there’s only some minor revisions I could make to it.
One might say I’m waiting for inspiration to strike before I tackle a new version. I wish there had been at least one more action packed Garou theme this season to mix with it. There’s Longing (Sad theme) sure and combining them is very much possible but having it extend is a bit iffy. I’m sure Season 3 will introduce an even more badass variation as he gets more and more powerful.

We all love Garou. I can feel how he feels, that society is corrupted. The only anime I ever got attached to. I am not an emotional person but this anime made me really sad still, I couldn't cry and was writhing in anguish. This anime pierced my heart, there are so many heroes who are giving their lives to protect others even though they are weak but their will is strong. And there are people who got traumatized by society so much that they think the heroes are bad. Universe please help me go into One Punch Man World, The Universe is limitless it's infinite anything is possible. I want to fight alongside the undying heroes and save the people instead. 10:15

So Garou, in his monster state, was roughly as strong as Boros... With, as ONE said, superior melee capabilities and technique, but inferior mobility and no ranged options. Boros is probably stronger in his Meteoric Burst, but Boros' issue here is putting Garou down. Because if he doesn't go for the cannon very quickly, Garou would overcome him. Garou couldn't beat Saitama because he was lying to himself, trying to become a monster when he wanted to be a hero. Garou's strength was born of a false ambition and true grit, which couldn't even come close to overcoming Saitama's strength born of both. Boros has no such power - he's just a very strong alien. Unlike Garou, nothing suggests he'd actively grow stronger during the fight, while Garou went from barely surviving to handing Darkshine Superalloy his ass in a matter of moments. Bloodlusted Boros would have a chance, but in character Garou would win every time. That's not even factoring in the possibility of him choosing to become a hero in the face of the space tyrant and walking the same reality-breaking path Saitama did.
Priam Neville Garou did state that he wanted to unify the world against him but I think he would settle for taking Boros down as it’s his home. Garou was willing to risk heavy injuries and possible death to protect a kid he didn’t know, and he attacked the monster association to protect the same kid.
Appearing as a villian protecting child/community as a hero...........
