to be honest the game was incredible, but i've noticed alot of these games don't have much replayability and people lose intrest in them, the devs weren't at all the issue it's the no attention span children who'd rather play simulators
I found this game a few days ago, and I love it. After years of playing downfall with nothing to test my skills, I found a gem. The game sits at around 200 to 300 players now, but as long as there are people to play, I'll be there
Honestly in my experience playing Titan Warfare, it was quite fun despite me being an absolute trashcan at the PVP (I did find some success killing other worse players in Practice so there's that), but IMO one of the main factors dragging this game down besides the bugs and skill gap is the grinding: for players like myself who aren't great at the PVP, trying to get better stuff such as upgrades to actually stand a chance in the PVP environment is a crapshoot because we would normally end up with more deaths than actual kills because of godly players with max upgrades flying around and grinding their own quests for exponentially more money and EXP (that we worse players can't do because well we're not as good), this creates a serious economic imbalance where the good players get better and better stuff quickly while the worse players struggle to even get a single kill without getting one tapped, what's worse is that in PVE modes such as Free Roam or Survival, the quests that we are given are still PVP quests, which obviously we can't grind to get the money and EXP for in PVE, if the developers would add something like PVE quests, I think it'd be more enticing for us worse players to not only earn money and EXP more efficiently to get better upgrades but also learn more about the game mechanics through the PVE quests (maybe with quests such as kill 10 abnormals, boost 30 times or hook onto a titan's neck 10 times etc); that way the game can kill two birds with one stone by giving worse players a reason to play this game and also by slowly lowering the skill floor since the average player can get better by doing the PVE quests
The game was pretty fun I get around 10 kills average per match my deaths per match is random after I got to competitive I played pve with my friend only reason why we stopped playing was cuz were duo most of the time due to leaving players also it was hard achieving a higher wave the game gets boring at the end
The game was really fun, but the thing that brought me away from it was the lack of content. Pvp and Pve were the same thing, not really gaining or losing anything. The thing you would grind for were bloodlines, titans, heroes etc. Also, it's massive skill gap between players probably played a massive role in killing the game.
Idea: For mobile players there could be little targets that auto aim to trees, buildings, etc., and have a fire button somewhere on the mobile screen to get a better feel at the game.
I certainty agree with you, there was a attk on titan game way back in the day have those mechanics but its on pc, it was quite a nice experience. I dont remember the name, the dev may have some blessin to find that game and copy how that system work for mobile, this game might revive itself.
But then it would limit your movement. Maps on Titan Warfare are filled with a lot of structures for you to swing on and thus creating many play and highlights that can only performed if you navigate it yourself. Auto target however prevents you from getting to the right angle while PC users get more advantage of their surroundings, this also create many other problems on where can the devs put the target on the map cause remember, Titan Warfare map is huge and require a lot of inspection and calculation to make the game feel somewhat playable for mobile players, and I mean ONLY SOMEWHAT
@@etamuami5656 its not a huge problem to my knowledge actually, the only thing you need to do is chose the height/ closer to the object u want to grab. The fact that on mobile you can only use 1 hook make a huge disadvantage already, but the game i ve played before auto navigates 2 hooks, yeh there might some issue with the exact point you want to grab but it will be around 20% inaccurate if ur familiar with the system, but it will certainly be better than now.
I think they should add the cart titan to the game and when someone transforms into the cart titan, everyone else on the team gets the option to be part of the carts panzer unit which allows them to be attached to machine guns on the cart and shoot people.
Unlike other games with a high skill celling this game, for me at least, was a bit too complicated. The mechanics of swinging and using both grapples was too challenging mechanically. The fact that you always had to go fast or know how to go behind a titan was difficult whereas for other games the concept is easy and you can just hit or shoot something.
the complicated mechanics made the game fun, it was rewarding to get tons of kills in survival and get bloodline spins. when I got Yeager Ackerman and arlert, I was so happy.
Thing that put me off the game ironically was your survival guide eclipse, not because I was like "I now realise I'm simply an ant compared to the almighty eclipse" or anything, but because of the ghost keys issue. Ghost keys, which is an issue on literally most keyboards people will have, prevent you from moving from side to side while double-hooking. I had to basically single-hook whenever moving left and right, which moved you in a janky arc. Once I found your video and found out that moving left and right while double-hooking was a genuine thing, that just put me off that I was so damn limited by my hardware. It's not really an oversight they can fix either, but it's an issue, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who quit titan warfare because they were unable to use one of the best manoeuvres in the game.
I kinda agree with you because one of my all time favorites, entry point had similar problem - was hard for new players + no updates. That make me kinda sad that a lot of hard but great games created by pasionates are dying to mainstream grinding games.
though the thing with entry point is that you can gather your friends and have an easier time with the game, but that's probably similar to this game too. it also had a whole storyline which meant there was already a place to start and a place to end (though you can also replay the levels). but honestly the fact that good games like that and titan warfare are runover by crappy simulators does suck
The thing that these kind of games that make's them fall is exactly what eclipse said, the skill gap of some games can be massive on roblox and that often intimidates new players to learn, some examples that i know of are HOURS, Black magic II, This game, and more games, most of these games are everyday whit not many players and most people that actively play them are better than new players, so that makes them even more intimidating (this applies to BM2 players they scare me on a whole 'nother level)
I would know, I am a part of the Roblox Gear Fighting community, I've seen newer players get bodied and hard countered by people who know OP items or glitches
I mean HOURS is easy to get the hang of I did like 2 yrs ago and with practice within a year I bet the game on seconds for the first time on mobile and I have bought the gamepass and unlocked the chars I just wish there was more content
I loved titan warfare, it was fast paced and super rewarding. But when I play it with my friends who are average Roblox players . they don't really understand what is going on, most of the time just end up running across the map because the swinging mechanic was too hard and when they tried to swing some sweat would just snipe them out of the air. Sure is a shame to see it fall off.
If you feel like trying a game, maybe you could give Force a chance. Force is a roblox star wars game and I found it funny and enjoyable. Only if you want or if you see this comment ofc.
I can recommend it very good skilled game, only bad thing is players that have problems cuz of many people team up but like thats nothing bad people have friends i play it mostly alone so im not teamer guy but im not mad at them thats thing in every game
Titan Warfare is designed to be a player vs player which isn't an excuse to skimp out on the movement and the NPC Titans, Titan Revolution has undeniably better grappling and NPC Titans. It might've been a good game when it first came out since there weren't many to compare to but it isn't a good titan game. Imagine if Eldians also had access to the gas-supported ground running and backward boost, the boost has a timer anyway for PVP balance. They could balance it out by making the turning sensitivity worse to make it emulate an ODM newb which is fixable by perks similar to that of Titan Revolution. Sliding should also be implemented, staying static is death in this game and both Marley and Eldian (Especially Marley) need it. Gabbie should get an actual ODM not just a grappling hook plus sniper aimbot (Joking) but seriously, not everyone has good aim or a hacked-in aimbot, instead of Marley gameplay being about swatting flies mid-air with needles, they should add a lock-in feature where you just have to shoot facing the enemy and the game aims for them. We play as trained soldiers with Marley, we also need the capability of trained soldiers. The bullets in-game take time to land anyway so it wouldn't be impossible to dodge. Veteran players might say they don't need it, but I'll tell you. these changes are for new players, if one dies in a smooth and easy-to-play game then they'd think the issue is with their skill. On a hard-to-play game, it'd be the game itself or another player that's the issue.
Some mobile players like me have mastered the game mechanics. The hitscan in the game is very helpful for mobile players and the grapple mechanic was easy to learn. I feel that this game is not that hard, but I can see how it is hard for others that don’t sit down all day and play the game while they have other things to do.
one of the reason I got into titan warfare was because of how difficult it is I liked the challenge but I can definitely see it being too difficult for most people to learn
Add mission mode, capture female titan, a gamemode with lots of blimps lead by marl that need to be destroyed before they reach an edlian camp, protect citizens while they escape the city from the colosal titan (ep 1 season 1), scout exploration mission, protect eren while he holds the boulder, just add a mission mode it would bring in like 4k more players lol, as long as you add new missions and make sure thy are fun, if pvp is such an issue then at least have good pve for everyone to enjoy.
I never actually played Titan Warfare, and hearing this video really just makes me want to learn the game. Truthfully, the game is beautiful and 100% deserves all the players ot can get.
titan warfare was AMAZING, i was so impressed by a singular roblox game, its mechanics were a bit complicated but over time you get used to. Its a shame that its dying, i hope it gets back to the top somehow
To be fair, the game was incredibly fun. Played for a month, got really good, mastered comp and a few tournaments, but after a while, much like you, I played myself out and forgot. What frustrates me is that there hasn't been any new gamemodes, no new titans, and zero new "pvp shifting" elements in a VERY VERY long time. New heroes and maps are nice but I find myself rarely using them, if ever, considering that my team is so bad I'd rather go for a titan to try and carry the team rather than go a hero and get my behind handed to me on a silver platter. While the game is incredible and was the first AOT game to truly "do it." I still feel like it dropped the ball on the fact that players need at least something new every now and then to shake things up.
As for me, who is experienced at playing similar games with similar features, I can definitely say that the "crappy devices" are relatable; it's one of the reasons why I got bored and stopped playing these games.
I recently discovered this game, and it has completely got my attention, and it is very fun, and I only get frustrated by extremely good marley players!
@@lolnah1992 no they don’t have godly aim the problem is that the bullets are hitscan meaning if they put their cursor on you and click it will kill you no matter what
bro the gameplay in the back is actually top tier bro i can barely hold my own on 20 titans this dude just swifty killing these titans is insane and a track pad isnt bad i dropped a 20 bomb before in a titan warfare competitive match with thunderspears
I used to play titan warfare a lot, I loved that game. I stopped playing it since none of my friends wanted to play it with me, so slowly I just started playing what they wanted to.
I played it a lot, but after some time I only logged in to do the dailys. And I stopped playing for the same reason as Eclipse did: the game didn't get updates and stuff happened in roblox/other games. Then the update dropped and I played it again after like 2 months, but I think the update didn't help on the playercount that much. I think that's because nothing changed that much. The new gamemode is just survival that takes less time and there isn't a tower to worry about. And adding a new hero really doesn't matter that much when you always use Blades. Sure they added prestige system but if you do that, you lose tens of thoulsands of in game money and get a skin that you won't use because you have a bizzare skin for eldians already. I also think that if you want to play casually, then the only option you have is PvE because you really can't play PvP without tryharding and that's just not ideal.
I'm so glad you made this video eclipse. I hope titan warfare can make a comeback, I often go into lobbies with 1 or 2 others in it and it is very sad. Keep up the good work!
It was doomed as soon as it was put on Roblox. It should have been made into a game off-platform, where the player base wouldn't just be bumbling mobile players
@@revampedrenegotiate most of the kids play in mobile in roblox usually the mobile controls are bullshit most of these players get tired and play other games I play roblox in phone and it’s a tortuous experience the keyboard it’s just too perfect and the mouse too and the players with a keyboard and mouse will have a abusive advantage making the game a completely pain that’s why some games need mobile only servers basically for every 1 skilled phone player there are 100 skilled keyboard and mouse player
Basically it's just "Oh, so I have to grapple onto them and then slice-oh I got rocket launched by a guy 200 feet above me" "YOO I GOT A CAR-oh I'm decapitated"
ur gameplay just made me want to go back, i always used to play the pvp mode, since i "enjoyed" it but i was always getting into marleyans and i could not play like those, so seeing u play this is like dopamine to me
While I do agree that the games skill curve drove some people off, that’s probably only half the reason the game fell. The game simply gets boring, doing the same thing over and over. I do believe I got pretty decent at PVP, and really good at PVE, but I just got sick of the exact same gameplay loop. Of course the exact same gameplay loop doesn’t exactly apply to PVP, but it applies HEAVILY to PVE. The mission system is a step in the right direction, but I just get really bored playing now. Edit: (This same thinking is why I tend to stay away from competitive PVP games like TW, Valorant, Battlefront, etc. I kinda prefer PVE)
Pve is also kinda boring I like playing a pvp grinding game so you don't exactly play in a loop also I do agree repetitive games are boring such as jailbreak and madcity and any more other simulator
@@Binqiling Unfortunately it is the loop that almost all roblox games take. I think TW can break this loop by just adding new gamemodes, more interesting missions in PVE, etc. Deepwoken, despite It's flaws, is an amazing example of a good gameplay loop on roblox. At it's core, it is a roguelike game (Which are one of my favorite game genres.) This allows for each run to at least feel a little bit different, if not entirely different. TW has insane potential for both PVE and PVP, and I hope they tap into it.
To answer your question, my personal experience on titan warfare is joining on the day it launched, getting into a game and skipping the tutorial because i didnt notice it was there, dying over and over, quitting for a week. I came back later and did the tutorial, then i started playing again, I quickly noticed that i didn't understand the gamemodrs as there is nothing in the tutorial that explains them, i'd struggle for hours to finally be able to become a shifter, but they'd be full already. If i actually managed to shift and start having fun, either a reiner who's wayyy more skilled than me would wreck me, or some guy with daddy's money would shift as tge colossal titan and stomp me to death. As for the human gameplay, i struggled as eldians because of some mahrs with god aim. I'd then try out being mahr but i got trash aim so i would die over and over. The only way i could get kills was with the rocket launcher thing when an eldian attached onto me. Then i went on the pve mode, not the survival sibce it wasnt out yet, and that was the only place i ever had fun on this game. I quickly got bored on it and never touched the game again.
There is only one idea that came to my head that I was surprised you missed out on; making servers for certain platforms. So like mobile only servers and stuff whilst still having an all platforms server. This might motivate people to play if what you said was contributing to the downfall of Titan Warfare. Just a thought and also try not to burn yourself out too much
Yeah nevermind I’m not going to care about “first like” and that. But with my experience with Titan warfare is actually really good. But my friends who used to play it just said “It was fun then, but it’s almost like it’s too easy now or even too difficult.” I stopped because even with the new update it was too easy or too difficult. Now I know why my friends told me this.
My biggest problem with titan warfare was definitively the exploiters. Every 3 games I would run into somebody who was walking on air and dropping 50+ kills per game without dying once. Lag was also another problem I had with the game but not that the game was laggy I had normal ping while playing but laggy players (specifically blades users) would teleport around the map and kill you while you are several meters away from you just because they were lagging like it was genuinely an advantage most of the time.
It's kinda your luck I haven't even runned into a exploiter in titan warfare also ur odds sounds ridiculous when it had around 5k players most of the time so you got to be unlucky or lying also that would have mean 25% are exploiters which is high
@@Binqiling I never ran into exploiters before the Yelena update but after that I would constantly run into them and then I just quit the game because none of my friends played it anymore.
Most people will never experience this feeling due to instant gratification that other games on the website give I liked titan warfare because I started like everyone else getting my ass handed to me not amounting to anything dying for hours in pvp until I finally got the hang of it and i put people like my old self through hell and thats the reward you get farmed until you can be the farmer and thats the biggest reward you can have if you beat people from the start you havent got anywhere and thats what makes games less replayable in my opinion.
I did that with mobile but then came the beast titans Ooohhh the freaking beast titans I have successfully killed 37 beast titans not including when they recover I mean make sure they're dead on mobile I hate them with a damn passion and the titans do aswell because they just sit and throw rocks
Adding 1 shot combos to an aot game was the worst decision. Imagine 2v1ing someone with titans that can harden to deal 2x damage. Lost it’s fun and soundtracks to march 23rd
One of the main problems I ended up having with Titan warfare always boiled down to two things in particular: The platform itself and the replay ability of the game. ROBLOX simply wasn't built to support games that require ping to actually be playable. There is a REASON why games like Adopt Me and *insert simulator here* rule under the sun in the popular section (Besides the fact a large part of the player base being children). It's simply because ROBLOX wasn't made for this kind of "quick reflex and input" type game. If you compare a simulator to a fighting game such as YBA, you'll start to realize how much of a difference ping actually has on the gameplay aspect and enjoyment an average player will get. As said in the video, the skill gap + the heavy need of a good setup makes it almost impossible for someone like "little Joey" to enjoy for a hefty amount of time past it's 30 minutes. Titan Warfare can be fun... but after the 50th round, you already lost most of your interest in the PvP aspect of it (Doesn't help when the farm seems incredibly boring to do for half of the community). The battle is already lost if there's one godlike player in one of the teams or a half decent shifter early in the game. You can probably goof off with your friends and have some fun by doing something not intended (Like Eclipse's tower video that he made), but that can go so far before it becomes dull and repetitive. Repetitive really is the perfect world to describe the current state of Titan Warfare or any game that heavily relies on the platform nowadays. The game kind of feels like the same cycle of slashing/shooting titan after titan, player after player and getting eventually overwhelmed by someone that has a better setup than you or simply plays the game for a little longer than you. It is really shame that such a great game like Titan Warfare is slowly dying, but really there isn't anything to keep bringing players "back" to it, to keep them playing and enjoying it time and time again. There's skins, there's a good amount of customizable perks(But that doesn't really help when it's basically just picking the most meta build) and there is some room for unpredictability for each match to make it more interesting. But that isn't enough to the community of ROBLOX engaged in it. In the end, the problem not only is how the community of ROBLOX is like, but how the platform was made. Do you really think little Joey will prefer a game that requires his brain, muscle coordination, a good pc setup and decent ping, over his little simulator that he just needs to autoclick over night to get some enjoyment out of it? YBA gets away with it because they have the main game. Since it's mostly players searching for items and just chilling around, making it easy to attract players that lack some good setup or internet connection. (Let's not talk about balancing and skins since that is another matter entirely). However, what does Titan Warfare have to balance out the skill based gameplay to make your average ROBLOX player active? Not much, besides those small things that I said earlier on. And that is the sad fact about all of this, the platform itself wasn't made to support any kind of quality game that might come out from the hands of some hard working and talented people, since it usually leads to them not gaining any popularity and recognition necessary to keep their motivation about working. What's the point in coding something actually good instead of making some simulator-esque game that will sell better?
Titan Warfare was fun. I took part in the test phases and at that time it felt incredible. I remember the adrenalines surging in my veins while I first play the Colossal Titan. But, when you know how to basically butcher the entire server and unlock all the stuff, things get dull.
the main reason i grinded titan warfare was... well because it was doing stress tests during a stress test (where its purpose is clearly not to make the player play for 70 hours in a row but to easily find rarer bugs and performance issues with a lot of players) you dont have much time to do everything that was added since the last time you could play, making you have a very clear cut goal of unlocking everything within this 3-6 day timer with another incentive being that if you grind and grind and get to top of the leaderboard, you would get tester honestly becoming a tester would probably make the game LESS fun than just playing in its stress tests as you'd constantly be asked to play the game and theres no real buildup of updates making you very quickly get tired of the content im not saying to put the game back in these little periods of time where the devs can focus on massive amounts of content so that people would have a lot more fun, but that, in my opinion, the game doing stress tests was far more encouraging than its full release where i have basically an infinite amount of time to do anything game fell under Parkinson's law to me; ive got an infinite time to try the content, so, until the end of the universe, i will likely not be playing the game.
I still play this game, and I can say it's still good most of the time. Highly skilled people ruin the game sometimes though, but I do wish the devs will add something to bring it back up from the ground.
I was literally addicted to that game, i played it all day and never got bored of it, i even met some guys from yba there and it was so fun, like titans spinning around so they make memes about it etc.. What kept me still playing it is the passion and competition, i was trying to race you in levels for some reason lol (also i was bored asf of yba) plus there were no exploiters so it was just a bunch of fun, tried to get on leaderboard but failed miserably, different kits/heros made it also enjoyable, one shotting an eldian titan right as he spawns with magath, armored charge+full combo, 2 operators, was just incredible, I've never experienced that much fun in yba, being combo'ed then an aviator ends your misery, nonetheless titan warfare is just on a whole different level than any other games on roblox, and it is truly a shame to see go this way, i hate to say this but adding a shit ton of skins might be the way to go
As a YBA player, adding skins in a game is a nightmare come true,YBA already ruined it's reputation by repeatedly adding more skins,I'd say them to add more features, and don't let them be to complicated, add more gamemodes/content and things that make a game fun.
I've been asking myself this exact question ever since I saw how it fell from grace in player count. Like an actual good game was just stripped away from the front page suddenly for no reason
They need to add way better missions, the update with ‘Missions’ was so upsetting to me, I was expecting a mission where you retake wall shiganshina. Missions like Attack on Titan revenge, we need missions of fighting the beast Titan, colossal, Female Titan, raid on marley. All that good stuff, if we get all that pve then it would be absolutely amazing for the game, that’s just me though.
Its not only the reason that Eclips e stated. Its a combination of reasons, them being: People arent really attracted towards AoT games and theres really barely any youtubers covering the game and making videos on it. I really like this game and i think its phenomenal. It just got unlucky thats all.
this is actually valid though, I was playing on my friends acc with Yeager and colossal titan, and got 700 kills into wave 30 something, but second place had 89. 3rd 50 4th 35. the skill gap is crazy. I also just grinded and grinded until it got boring. dominating pvp matches against actual 3 year old's gets old after a while.
Titan warfare was a amazing game and I would spend many days playing it but stopped when my friends wouldnt want to play anymore, it just didnt feel fun without friends after like a hour.
"For Christmas, I want a dragon!" 'Be realistic.' "I want there to be a popular anime game Eclipse doesn't tryhard in." 'What colour do you want your dragon?'
This game was such a blast, since it makes anybody, either mobile, iPad, or pc, to feel like a marleyan or eldian. I played this game because it looked promising, I bought some game passes, which I never do with other games, and I grinded until level 50 or 60, I forgot what level I was, sadly, the game got repetitive with their just really being survival and pvp, so I just kinda stopped playing it as much, this game was probably the best roblox game I've ever played, no other game will top this.
I used to love the game, the feeling of just swinging around slicing players swiftly or just one shot killing the cockroaches on my screen with a sniper. I was pretty skilled so I had lots of fun also the dynamic feeling of shifting into a titan to turn tides of a battle then ejecting and going somewhere else, leveling up as i played gaining access to more and more titans eventually unlocking Levi which im glad i used before he got the rage mode which almost gutted him completely. But I havent played the game since i got bored of the survival gamemode which came out quite along time ago
I think they should add thunderspears to pve because thunderspears have a way smaller learning curve than blades, it won't steal all the kills either because of its spear limit of 4 thunderspears until you have to reload it.
Titan Warfare was one of the best games I've played on Roblox. I think I stopped playing it because I played so much of PVE and PVP that it eventually got dull. Adding new heroes and shifters didn't do much for me because the gameplay was the same every time. I am aware that I probably played the game way too much and got bored of it. I think more game modes is the best direction the game can go. It might've been nice if there were more game modes in PVP rather than the same Capture, Deathmatch and Payload. They used to have this game mode in which 15 people fought 1 titan shifter and that looked really fun, I don't know why it got removed. Something new game modes in PVE also would be nice. I am aware they added the new Missions game mode but It kind of felt too easy and similar to survival and free roam. It would be nice if you had more things to do than just slash titans with ODM in the Missions game mode. Maybe in some missions you could be defending Eren, fighting the female titan, etc. A lot of these ideas are used in other Attack on Titan games, but they work and I'm sure with the amazing systems and developers in Titan Warfare, it would give so much variety in all of its game modes. Even if Titan Warfare gets no more updates, it was still one of the best games I've played and I made a lot of friends playing that game. I appreciate the developers for making an amazing game.
One of the other main reasons why it has less players is because grand piece online had a big update and went free to play and project slayers came out both games when they updated and dropped had more than 100k players so that could have maybe impacted it
I've watched the video and I fully agree with you, but the reason why I stopped playing was because there isn't really much content, I was a bit tired of playing PVP, so all I'm gonna do is to wait for the PVE missions, that's it! The game is awesome though.
My titan warfare story was that I was and still am very bad at Eldian pvp. I started playing when survival wasn’t around and the only thing I could do is grind. When survival came around I got hooked again and started playing survival more, having the Yeager bloodline and eventually getting everything I wanted. However a lot of players in the survival game mode wanted to play on easy mode, if there were players at all. Survival became a game of patience, waiting for 5 others to join you which bored me. It doesn’t help that the new mode in the recent update is so damn easy. All there is to do now is to grind for everything in the pvp shop which bores me quite fast.
I agree. I use trackpad, and it’s very hard to do fps games with it, but I’m somehow decent at those… Titan warfare is a game where you have to get really good with the movement, and if not, you’re screwed. It’s hard to learn, and incredibly hard to play with trackpad and don’t even get me started on mobile. It’s already hard to run on most devices roblox players use.
This game has kind of the same happening as Those Who Remain. Those who remain is a wave based survival shooter where you are placed in a server with a maximum capacity of 8 and survive waves of infecteds trying to kill you. When it first came out, 3-4 years ago, it was always in top page. The graphics were great, objectives were a nice exp / cash source, and very fun in general... in the beginning only. As you start leveling up, get new weapons and reach level 30, you get a taste of how grindy and repetitive the gameplay is. Sure the graphics are very great, not many games have such great animations and modelling, but when you play a map 100+ times, it gets significantly boring. It becomes that kind of game, where you pick it up for a few days, then drop it for another month or two. And this is coming from a level 240, who played this game very soon after its release. It took me well over 2-3 months to get myself to level 100, around 3 - 4 hours of grinding only higher waves. Edit: Also, make Eclipse play it, it's basically CoD zombies but with a set timer.
Eclipse, Your videos are amazing and somehow. EVERY DAY, ANY DAY, WHATEVER HAPPENED, You still get a big smile on my face. I love your content more than anyone else’s. Please never quit!
Game was simply amazing, when ever I wanted to play it I played it but I think I had the same problem as you I played it way to much, it was so much fun to hop in survival with friends and kill titans and the PvP was a lot of fun, unfortunately the age old thing on roblox where it’s really well made and dies simply cuz of the skill gap
i believe it's also because of the anime, people were hyped when the anime was still running and people wanted to play aot games, i believe when part 3 of aot comes, the game will see more players
I also think it has to do with it *being* an Attack on Titan game.. Now don’t get me wrong, Attack on Titan is my favorite anime of all time. But, the thing about it is that it’s really hard to convert this franchise into fully enjoyable game. Take YBA for example, I honestly really dislike it. But, I can confidently say that it’s more entertaining than Titan Warfare because of the customization and build setup. You can make so many builds and create so many combinations with different Stands and Specs. But when it comes to Attack on Titan games, especially on Roblox, the main gameplay loop is just either killing Titans or Killing Players for rewards/exp. I think in order for Titan Warfare, and other Attack on Titan games like it, to flourish they would need to have solid PvP; but also a phenomenal PvE with cutscenes, full character customization, and a story mode. I know that would be asking a lot and is probably unlikely since everyone remembers how well Project Star and its story mode did… But I truly think that if games like Attack on Titan: Vengeance or Titan Warfare, were able to create a breathtaking, easy to play, and excellently animated story mode (alongside the PvP); it would significantly boost the popularity of those games by a wide margain.
Here’s why I left titan warfare and some changes that should be made and minor changes that would just make it a bit better. 1. I love targeting titans but it’s not fun because they spam basic attack, spam dodge, and have a LONG ASS REACH(sorry for my language) even if a shifter can’t reach me they can still hit me bc again they have long reach, and Titans should have different reach depending on their arm length(also I’m talking about regular human vs Titan not shifter vs shifter) 2. It’s not fun when having to fight someone who’s been playing shooter games their whole life and has been using aim lab for 5 years straight. There have been times where I have almost been instantly killed as Levi within 5 seconds, and bc of the stun you get when a Marlyan shoots you it makes it worse. And the only way to dodge bullets is by speed but if they’re that good then no matter how fast you go they will 1 tap you within like half a second. (I do like a challenge but not when they see me and kill me instantly, that’s not fun) 3. Lack of content. I didn’t like the last update too much bc the mission was just survival just in 2 minutes. Instead, they should have made new game modes like “stop Eren from activating the rumbling, Or AP gear vs ODM gear, or having to fight Titan shifters as a boss thing(sorry if I’m not making sense😅) now here’s a way that they can fix some stuff. 1. Adding a way to dodge bullets that isn’t just speed 2. Adding more weapons for Marleyans to choose from 3. Get rid of bloodline and have a different way to get families. (btw I just wanna say that I hate the idea of having to roll for families) 4. FIX THE THUNDER SPEARS PLS😭 5. For mobile they should make it so your hook auto aims so you don't have to control each hook yourself(but ofc you still have to aim at humans. 6. Fix the glitch where Levi just spins around titans like just having him slash them automatically if he takes too long to do it. 7. Decrease the range for shifters vs regular humans and have them have a limit to how many times you can punch and dodge so you can’t just keep punching and dodging. 8. Add the cart turns but only for Marleyans(I feel like a lot of people would like this) 9. Lastly I think that the creator should have made the same game but instead of a Roblox fan game, it’s just their own fan game. Kinda like Swamy’s AOT fan game. That’s it I think and Just like you said this game truly is amazing and I am so grateful to have it because I am very picky with games and only a few of them can satisfy me.
The reason why I stopped playing was because not 2 days after I maxed out the shop, I got false banned for killing an admin too many times. I managed to bring an alt up to around level 30 within a few days, but I grew tired of grinding for the stuff I already grinded for and quit.
Definitely one of my favorite games on the platform, Survival and PVP are actually well designed game modes, and the movement is some of the best I've ever seen on Roblox. Honestly, the only issue I ever had was with the skill gap. This feels more prevalent on Marleyans for me, since if you hop into a Comp PVP match, most of the time it's going to be a Marleyan on the top of the leaderboard. Not that Eldian is bad, it's just frustrating when I'm trying to get better with Marleyan and I'm getting snipped 20 times per-match by Marleyan snipers. Aside from that though, easily one of the best games on Roblox, and its really sad to see it put on the backburner
The reason why I stop is bc im a Xbox user on roblox and for me to have to fight people who can move there camera angle fast like side to side or up and down is hard on xbox it takes a full 8.43 seconds (timed) to do a full character 360 camera rotate. thats why a lot of games like aba have lock on system so you can keep past with pc players
Originally left cuz I usually do not like to sweat too much, I absolutely love this game, it is up there in S Tier of my roblox games tierlist. The thing is, it just really depends on my mood if I wanna get super sweaty and tryhard-like to play these type of games.
The problem for me wasn't lack of content or repetition, it was simply... CONNECTION. It may seem crazy to use this as an argument, but since the day they made the update where you could choose which server/region you wanted to play, the game was full of people who play in regions that increase their ping, when everything got mixed up, the game that before it was stuck at 90 ping, it has difficulties in keeping the connection stable to the whole server. If they go back to how it was before, where the region was forced to be played, there would be no problems with European servers (the ones I use) disappearing from the lobby because no one could get in and the game doesn't put you on them.
I feel like there are a number of factors as to why people quit titan warfare(skill gap, kids not understanding how the game works and move on to pet simulator X,lag spikes etc.) But for me personally the reason I quit was because there were basically no asian servers and when you are in Asia playing in a west America server it's basically like watching a ppt.
Eclipse, there's a bug most common with scary monsters but sometimes other stands, where basically, all you can do is equip an item and move, it's really irritating
to be honest the game was incredible, but i've noticed alot of these games don't have much replayability and people lose intrest in them, the devs weren't at all the issue it's the no attention span children who'd rather play simulators
And there just isnt much they can do

I found this game a few days ago, and I love it. After years of playing downfall with nothing to test my skills, I found a gem. The game sits at around 200 to 300 players now, but as long as there are people to play, I'll be there
Honestly in my experience playing Titan Warfare, it was quite fun despite me being an absolute trashcan at the PVP (I did find some success killing other worse players in Practice so there's that), but IMO one of the main factors dragging this game down besides the bugs and skill gap is the grinding: for players like myself who aren't great at the PVP, trying to get better stuff such as upgrades to actually stand a chance in the PVP environment is a crapshoot because we would normally end up with more deaths than actual kills because of godly players with max upgrades flying around and grinding their own quests for exponentially more money and EXP (that we worse players can't do because well we're not as good), this creates a serious economic imbalance where the good players get better and better stuff quickly while the worse players struggle to even get a single kill without getting one tapped, what's worse is that in PVE modes such as Free Roam or Survival, the quests that we are given are still PVP quests, which obviously we can't grind to get the money and EXP for in PVE, if the developers would add something like PVE quests, I think it'd be more enticing for us worse players to not only earn money and EXP more efficiently to get better upgrades but also learn more about the game mechanics through the PVE quests (maybe with quests such as kill 10 abnormals, boost 30 times or hook onto a titan's neck 10 times etc); that way the game can kill two birds with one stone by giving worse players a reason to play this game and also by slowly lowering the skill floor since the average player can get better by doing the PVE quests
this is amazing and speaks for me when you talk about the grind. Underrated comment
so true , i got kinda good at pvp , but at first i used to get 3 kills per match and died 20+ times which just made the game unfun
The game was pretty fun I get around 10 kills average per match my deaths per match is random after I got to competitive I played pve with my friend only reason why we stopped playing was cuz were duo most of the time due to leaving players also it was hard achieving a higher wave the game gets boring at the end
Also eldia just dog crap at pvp when fighting a decent person as you charge towards them when they have a gun that can blow your brains
You're speaking straight facts my man!! Need to add you to the dev team... lol

Make it so u can toggle it on and off
But then it would limit your movement.
A thing like this is hell to code, especially on Roblox, but if they manage to do it then it'd be a great accomplishment
I think they should add the cart titan to the game and when someone transforms into the cart titan, everyone else on the team gets the option to be part of the carts panzer unit which allows them to be attached to machine guns on the cart and shoot people.
if there's nobody offering to join you can control the shots yourself like how turrets work
imagine thinking you are invencible with colossal titan and get destroyed by 2 cart titans of Marleyans with his entire team
What were you playing on?
it was complicated for me too, so I always go for the eyes or legs first so they can't turn and mess up my attack

the complicated mechanics made the game fun, it was rewarding to get tons of kills in survival and get bloodline spins. when I got Yeager Ackerman and arlert, I was so happy.
That make me kinda sad that a lot of hard but great games created by pasionates are dying to mainstream grinding games.
the horrid dragon ball games
though the thing with entry point is that you can gather your friends and have an easier time with the game, but that's probably similar to this game too. it also had a whole storyline which meant there was already a place to start and a place to end (though you can also replay the levels).

I loved titan warfare, it was fast paced and super rewarding. But when I play it with my friends who are average Roblox players . they don't really understand what is going on, most of the time just end up running across the map because the swinging mechanic was too hard and when they tried to swing some sweat would just snipe them out of the air.
A lot of other cash grab money games on Roblox, such as the simulators, and the tycoons really push down the actual gems that game devs make.

Some mobile players like me have mastered the game mechanics. The hitscan in the game is very helpful for mobile players and the grapple mechanic was easy to learn. I feel that this game is not that hard, but I can see how it is hard for others that don’t sit down all day and play the game while they have other things to do.
"And with all that being said, have a wonderfull day and night wherever you are, and I'll see you next time."

Yeah it was why I also played it titan warfare is fun for people who knows how to play these types of games
titan warfare made a somewhat recovery, its at 3k players rn which is a lot more than what it was a while ago

The update made me play just for the code then I lef

Now I know why my friends told me this.
bro defined me in a matter of a few words 3:18 -3:26
I love the points you make, and now they have prestige shit when I have so much stuff and I don’t wanna lose ALL of my titans
One of the main problems I ended up having with Titan warfare always boiled down to two things in particular:
The platform itself and the replay ability of the game.
Extremely well said
Fully agree.
Titan Warfare was fun. I took part in the test phases and at that time it felt incredible. I remember the adrenalines surging in my veins while I first play the Colossal Titan. But, when you know how to basically butcher the entire server and unlock all the stuff, things get dull.
the main reason i grinded titan warfare was... well because it was doing stress tests
during a stress test (where its purpose is clearly not to make the player play for 70 hours in a row but to easily find rarer bugs and performance issues with a lot of players) you dont have much time to do everything that was added since the last time you could play, making you have a very clear cut goal of unlocking everything within this 3-6 day timer with another incentive being that if you grind and grind and get to top of the leaderboard, you would get tester
honestly becoming a tester would probably make the game LESS fun than just playing in its stress tests as you'd constantly be asked to play the game and theres no real buildup of updates making you very quickly get tired of the content
im not saying to put the game back in these little periods of time where the devs can focus on massive amounts of content so that people would have a lot more fun, but that, in my opinion, the game doing stress tests was far more encouraging than its full release where i have basically an infinite amount of time to do anything
game fell under Parkinson's law to me; ive got an infinite time to try the content, so, until the end of the universe, i will likely not be playing the game.
I still play this game, and I can say it's still good most of the time. Highly skilled people ruin the game sometimes though, but I do wish the devs will add something to bring it back up from the ground.
@@eclipsis. welp somehow,3k now
@@nambao12oej29 it hit 10k last week I think
I was literally addicted to that game, i played it all day and never got bored of it, i even met some guys from yba there and it was so fun, like titans spinning around so they make memes about it etc..
What kept me still playing it is the passion and competition, i was trying to race you in levels for some reason lol (also i was bored asf of yba) plus there were no exploiters so it was just a bunch of fun, tried to get on leaderboard but failed miserably, different kits/heros made it also enjoyable, one shotting an eldian titan right as he spawns with magath, armored charge+full combo, 2 operators, was just incredible, I've never experienced that much fun in yba, being combo'ed then an aviator ends your misery, nonetheless titan warfare is just on a whole different level than any other games on roblox, and it is truly a shame to see go this way, i hate to say this but adding a shit ton of skins might be the way to go
As a YBA player, adding skins in a game is a nightmare come true,YBA already ruined it's reputation by repeatedly adding more skins,I'd say them to add more features, and don't let them be to complicated, add more gamemodes/content and things that make a game fun.
banger upload, also i entirely forgot that this game ever existed
I've been asking myself this exact question ever since I saw how it fell from grace in player count. Like an actual good game was just stripped away from the front page suddenly for no reason
They need to add way better missions, the update with ‘Missions’ was so upsetting to me, I was expecting a mission where you retake wall shiganshina. Missions like Attack on Titan revenge, we need missions of fighting the beast Titan, colossal, Female Titan, raid on marley. All that good stuff, if we get all that pve then it would be absolutely amazing for the game, that’s just me though.
Titan warfare was super fun since the last time I played.
bro your last video on titan warfare was what help me become a good player you help me so much so i would like to thank you for that
Its not only the reason that Eclips e stated. Its a combination of reasons, them being: People arent really attracted towards AoT games and theres really barely any youtubers covering the game and making videos on it.
I really like this game and i think its phenomenal. It just got unlucky thats all.
I guess it lost a bit ofpopularity because AoT is not hyped for now
Your right this should have been a triple a game
this is actually valid though, I was playing on my friends acc with Yeager and colossal titan, and got 700 kills into wave 30 something, but second place had 89. 3rd 50 4th 35. the skill gap is crazy.
"For Christmas, I want a dragon!"
'Be realistic.'
"I want there to be a popular anime game Eclipse doesn't tryhard in."
'What colour do you want your dragon?'
As a mobile player this game was very fun even tho it was a bit hard too bad it kinda died
Right when I quit playing jojo games and play attack on Titan games again, eclipse records an aot video
One of the other main reasons why it has less players is because grand piece online had a big update and went free to play and project slayers came out both games when they updated and dropped had more than 100k players so that could have maybe impacted it
This game was great, it did not deserve to lose this many players
I've watched the video and I fully agree with you, but the reason why I stopped playing was because there isn't really much content, I was a bit tired of playing PVP, so all I'm gonna do is to wait for the PVE missions, that's it! The game is awesome though.
8:26 holy christ eclipse went god mode on that
My titan warfare story was that I was and still am very bad at Eldian pvp.
It’s already hard to run on most devices roblox players use.
eclipse is like levi in some of these survival clips lmao, he’s just mowing them down
Was wondering the same today thanks gor the vid bro always making vids on whats actually matters
The only reason i played TW was bc of you and i enjoyed it. So thanks
Eclipse, Your videos are amazing and somehow. EVERY DAY, ANY DAY, WHATEVER HAPPENED, You still get a big smile on my face. I love your content more than anyone else’s. Please never quit!
Name a better Roblox game then Titan Warefare, I'll wait.
I know that would be asking a lot and is probably unlikely since everyone remembers how well Project Star and its story mode did…
But I truly think that if games like Attack on Titan: Vengeance or Titan Warfare, were able to create a breathtaking, easy to play, and excellently animated story mode (alongside the PvP); it would significantly boost the popularity of those games by a wide margain.
Here’s why I left titan warfare and some changes that should be made and minor changes that would just make it a bit better.
1. I love targeting titans but it’s not fun because they spam basic attack, spam dodge, and have a LONG ASS REACH(sorry for my language) even if a shifter can’t reach me they can still hit me bc again they have long reach, and Titans should have different reach depending on their arm length(also I’m talking about regular human vs Titan not shifter vs shifter)
2. (I do like a challenge but not when they see me and kill me instantly, that’s not fun)
3. Lack of content. I didn’t like the last update too much bc the mission was just survival just in 2 minutes. Instead, they should have made new game modes like “stop Eren from activating the rumbling, Or AP gear vs ODM gear, or having to fight Titan shifters as a boss thing(sorry if I’m not making sense😅)
now here’s a way that they can fix some stuff.
1. Adding a way to dodge bullets that isn’t just speed
2. Adding more weapons for Marleyans to choose from
3. Get rid of bloodline and have a different way to get families. (btw I just wanna say that I hate the idea of having to roll for families)
4. FIX THE THUNDER SPEARS PLS😭
8. Add the cart turns but only for Marleyans(I feel like a lot of people would like this)
9. Lastly I think that the creator should have made the same game but instead of a Roblox fan game, it’s just their own fan game. Kinda like Swamy’s AOT fan game.
That’s it I think and Just like you said this game truly is amazing and I am so grateful to have it because I am very picky with games and only a few of them can satisfy me.
i was waiting for this one
it was inevitable
Old Japanese paintings of Tanuki people are way too funny and no one should miss out on them (balls, lots of balls)
You upload as am watching your older vids what a coincidence 🙃
Originally left cuz I usually do not like to sweat too much, I absolutely love this game, it is up there in S Tier of my roblox games tierlist. The thing is, it just really depends on my mood if I wanna get super sweaty and tryhard-like to play these type of games.
i really enjoyed this game, sad to see it getting few updates
