I tried to save someone that was getting eaten by a normal titan, as soon as i slashed his nape.. the guy that was getting eaten shifted into the colossal titan, causing me to fly back into a wall and die.. my most epic death in that game and i will never forget it
And don't forget said teammates will get grabbed 24/7 or never help you get freed I swear i saw atk titan get eaten with no blades while captains grinded several miles away
Old comment, but GOD I would love if they ever make a 3rd AoT game they make a complete story that can go like this, large player groups with a few secret shifters playing out bits of the story. It'd be so fucking amazing.
Experienced freedom war player here, thank you for making a solid video on the game, the comments overall seem pretty helpful too. The video truly feels like an explanation of the game from a new enjoyers perspective, but if i might throw in my pitch: I really enjoy the game for the story it tells between players, sometimes the efforts of many or few determine outcomes of campaigns through mistake or error and its really fun to have a narrative going, especially with how immersive this game can get for people who like to get into character and fight like hell. Theres no feeling quite like dying as a captain, and the whole server shouts in outrage and swears vengeance, eventually getting it and claiming it in your name, or contributing to or eliminating a warrior fighting their damndest, or just defying the odds. The game doesnt end when you get captain, as a captain one is obligated to help the team out and right for the soldiers team, handling the harder tasks such as confronting warriors or particularly daunting situations. Over my time playing the game I find that with some reflection and an open mind, no situation is truly inescapable and to me makes no situation feel like true bullshit. and even if you get hit with true bullshit, like a bug or something of the sort, restores exist for those reasons. I feel like the game has rewarded my investment of time and effort to master its systems and movement by me simply moving better and performing better overall. Good video overall, though some of your information is outdated and I wish you mentioned countering in human vs human, as it makes fights into more then just slashing eachother. Thank you for reviewing and bringing attention to the game
To add onto this comment, mainly about immersion, I remember this one time when me, freshly turned liutenant (rank just before captain, really stressful because you *really* don't want to die so close to being cap), got left behind with a private on the S2 ending stage, since the warriors destroyed our carts. We walked for minutes somehow outpacing the titans, and I had to resort to carrying him as we fought, real epic stuff. Then we ran all out. I kid you not, as we were both grabbed, some madlads returned (you are HEAVILY incentivized not to, since if you don't retreat in the time limit at that stage, you and all people outside the walls are considered MIA and get wiped) to help us, and the feeling of absolute joy as I got saved turning into absolute horror as I turn to speak to the private, only to see him dying a literal second before our reinforcements killed the titan was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. This game creates scenarios which are, IMO, what made so many people fall in love with early AoT, which are these sentimental bonds and how everyone must be prepared to die regardless of how good they are. This is what keeps me coming back after some breaks, and why I'd reccomend this game for every AoT fan. Other highlight was this one time I decided to be cart driver for the whole match, and had this cool guy who'd always help me. Turns out, after a good while together, he just says "Sorry" and shifts on the back of my cart, proceeding to kill most scouts that were there with us.
10:05, if anybody thinks they can reach captain rank before dying 10 times, just know its nearly impossible if you've never played before, you need to kill 128 titans without dying once, keep in mind you also need to deal with the enemy shifters and other scouts kill stealing. It took my 40 hours of playtime to reach captain rank for the first time, so dont get your hopes up lol. But the game is still awesome one of by favorite Roblox games

This video unironically got me on a dream AOT game since Tribute something that raot in its prime couldn't scratch my itch. I think the game isn't the dream it's the closest that any official or unofficial attempts have gotten. I'm still a newb but I've noticed the game has the best dedicated players when the grind from what I've seen is built towards points that can help you get on the warriors more often which I don't mind at all and the bidding system isn't too bad. The game could be even bigger if so many new players didn't drop the game. Surprised a lot of people complain due to difficulty when this game allows you to be saved when in the literal mouth of a titan. The perma death is about the level ups you've amounted in the campaign and although dying when you've amounted a good amount of level ups (god damn you weird fire mechanic) its much better than say being completely wiped in the campaign and the levels ups are noticeably helpful but going into the training mode as a noob and doing /max I've noticed it's far from enough to make the basic mechanics of titan slaying a breeze. Complaints I see like "I just started and wanted to play and I die wow" unless we watched/read the same series is this not what you would expect? The titans orbit you and are a huge threat in groups like they are in the source material. I'm glad the tutorial isn't optional and dying to the real deal titans in the lobbies is good for new players to realise what they're up against. Once you learn that you can orbit taking out titans when they're alone becomes easy and you start to slowly build skill, In some ways titan slaying can be too easy in some lobbies. I do sympathise with the ODM being a bit more awkward and the distance being a bit blunt but if this wasn't the case avoiding titans would be too easy and if it's this big a deal you can spend your first couple upgrades on hook distance and then the dashing/dodging abilities. The best way to play is absolutely following the objective and keeping up with what the group is doing and talking about. It takes the best of the show with the scouts devising out to take out obstacles and lets you experience and plan the same way. I don't recommend being overly cautious of dying because you can miss out the fun of having a go at the female titan. If you do die starting from scratch isn't really too off you have the full set to be a threat if you build skill or competency. Anyway I've already said enough but the creators of the game earn my props and I hope more quality of life and content is added. Also a minor critisism from someone in the UK is that lag albeit rare in the right lobbies can really screw you over if you are grabbed by a titan from a mile away so I'm just hoping to see European lobbies get some buffs but that's really all.
People that is interesed to start to play this game or is new i can gave you some tips that served 1.- Learn how to orbit mindless(orbit only works in free spaces, in the districts is more usefull blind) 2.- Think wich titans you will kill (if theres a horde you will not go farm like a pro and if you get grab theres not a minigame to free yourself) 3.- Know what do every upgrade and skill, and learn how to use it 4.- Think x2 when you are close from a shifter 5.- DIE is something common so dont get frustrated, just learn how you died and try again 6.- Learn pvp is usefull (when you are captain and you dont want die, surprise warriors see you like a target) Add tips in the comments if i forgot one and i hope that this tips were usefull
Depending how you're feeling when playing or how skilled you'd be best to just pick what fits you, personally I'd suggest 1-2 Health Upgrades, then impulse (cuz it saves you 1 blade charge on decapping a titan) and good starting travel, then dodge and super jump, then efficency upgrades being gas then blade in that order, after its maybe handcut and then do whatever. I'd pick the upgrades depending which stage I'm starting fresh from and know which'd benefit me the most at the time
Btw another tip. you can have attack or jaw awakening at level 15 but i recommend turning off shifter chance till you're level 25 because there will be people there that will preasure you into dying or leaving the game because of your level.
if youre good at the game then dont turn off your chance and simply prove them wrong by boxing up shifters. also, you need practice somehow other than lobbies. if you dont turn on shifter chance until lvl 25 you still wont be that good as you have no actual experience playing at in the campaign
ik this sounds dumb but i was one of the first people to play this back when it dropped, im the first person that joined the discord too, i used to be friends with the owner of this game and am proud to see his project get more recognition 💯
Me and my friends played this game and it actually felt like the show because we went in excepting to do well and all died instantly, but as we played we got better and started to live to the end of the game
The one aot game that looks fun as hell and unique is of course the one i cant play since im on console, and as far as i can tell its unplayable there. Actual pain
Tips for New Players! 1. Play in large lobbies. experienced shifters are sometimes good enough to completely wipe the scouts in smaller lobbies in human vs. human combat, and because the pvp system in this game has such a high skill ceiling, new players don't stand much of a chance. In larger lobbies you have a better chance of surviving as you will also have experienced players on your side. 2. Experiment in practice servers. The practice servers in this game are invaluable, letting you gain pvp experience, helping you get a feel for playing all the titans in this game, helping you learn how to effortlessly kill all the types of npc titans, and letting you get a feel for the upgrades and which ones are important. 3. There are some very important upgrades you should prioritize. New players should immediately get 1 health upgrade to protect from instant death by getting hit by a spinner or diver titan. After that, pick up handcut which will let you escape from being grabbed by a titan (if you're mouth grabbed this won't help you) and then max out your HP and start picking up mobility upgrades alongside higher gas efficiency. After that, pick up upgrades that help in the situation you're in. Attack speed helps in PvP (Don't get the 4th attack speed upgrade unless you want to look cool, it's useless), Arm cut helps fight shifters, hand cut mk 2 provides further protection against grabs, etc. etc. 4. Be ready to die a lot! It is very easy to die in this game but with each death you'll get exponentially better and more experienced! 5. As I said, there is a very high skill ceiling in this game not just in pvp but also understanding the campaign and the objectives of the scouts and shifters. There is a lot of intricacy to the campaign so don't be afraid to ask if you're ever confused about something. 6. Have fun! This is my favorite game on Roblox right now
When you said your just gonna Become A titan that’s a nice way to motivate the people to not team up together to not make the game easy for the scouts damn I like games like that
Tbh they should add like broken characters like Levi would have a lil less health cuz short but there would be a auto dodge feature for him and he gets aim bot
The odmg is literally the definition of easy to learn, difficult to master. It’s one of the smoothest odmgs I’ve ever seen and this comes from someone who didn’t like it at first.
Aot fw literally makes you feel like how its like to be in the anime, and it always scares me whenever im riding my horse getting chased by a titan specially the shifters
I haven't played roblox in years, A game with no bs attached was very rare. I usually had to hack or cheat to have any real enjoyment. Mainly because every game wants you to spin a wheel, make you pay to unlock basic things or most likely has an insane grind which im not tryna do to have fun.
@@tranquilclaws8470 If a game doesn't respect my time I'll just hack my way to the top. But for a game like this there's no need, I don't see any crazy grinds or pay to win aspects you can just play without any of the bs.
Nobody mentions this but if your a new player do NOT bring a normal horse on expeditions, bring a supply cart because it goes the same speed as the normal horse but you can refill gas and blades
If you plan on making a gameplay vid of this or need others for more content of it please hmu cause I’ve been looking for people to play with vc lmfaoooo great vid 😂
I've played: Revolution UAOT Evolution Titan Warfare AND Freedom War (currently lvl 29) Let me say, the only downside is that FW is only available on computer. Too many buttons for mobile. I can say that freedom war is the LEAST beginner friendly of all and is probably the hardest aot game out there. However... It is yes, very fun. It is addicting and very campaign centered. Attacking the titans is a very important component because it allows players to gain skill points and "money", but is more focused on the pvp concept because killing the warriors is very VERY important. Playing as a warrior is also very fun, albeit VERY stressful. What makes Freedom war SO UNIQUE, is that the campaign, although sticking close to the anime plotline, is very dependent on what happens in stages. For example, rod reiss could breach the wall in Orvud District and cause the scouts to not receive enough funding to unlock the thunderspears, or the scouts perform so well that thunderspears get more funding and are invented much, MUCH earlier. That's all on freedom war though, highly reccomended. However, Titan Warfare comes in a very close second. Similar to freedom war, it is very difficult and not beginner friendly. However, the pvp is very engaging and is very skill focused. Fast-paced action and mind boggling plays to be clipped, it is probably one of the most eventful and engaging attack on titan games out there, beating FW in ENGANGABILITY. This is because warfare is always in the action, whereas fw is more realistic and has walking/riding a horse/waiting things out. However, this is completely up to the server and more. Warfare and FW remain my favourites of all AOT games out there. PLAY FW PLEASE!!!!! WE NEED MORE PLAYERS
i hope they update revolution consistently its rlly fun with friends and it has a lot of potential. they have PvP and open world on their update roadmap too.
@@Nimmy69420 The game should become more popular, it might help the development. Also it deserves to be popular after all the work the developer put in. It will be still very easy to find servers.
Dank, the one who created it, said he wont do S4 unless he gets inspired to do it as his original goal was to create the RTS arc (return to shiganshina) also, Jaw no longer has a choice and must join the scouts now.
@@elmejornose6763 no since console players can't communicate so the owner disabled it since communication is important for fw if he adds console then it ruins the game since he does not want servers that won't communicate especially if your a warrior it won't work good

I'm really into these attack on titan games so I tried this game and now its kicking me for playing it for 472 hours in 3 weeks, it's just way too fun to not recommend for others.
yall need to remember that games like project zomboid exists. you are literally meant to die and you still play. same concept here, you play here because of its difficulty
You did get a few things wrong, as jaw you can no longer choose which side and automatically go soldier, if a warrior dies they are no longer transferred to soldier team, and HVH is NOT a matter of who has more supplies. HVH is more about rock-paper-scissors and how well you can hook. If you see somebody slashing, counter. If you see somebodying countering, kick. If you see somebody kicking, slash.
I played this game when it was in beta, were you just kill titans, and i was glad to follow this game until this final update. A shame the Developer lost motivation.
i got the hang of this game at lvl 5 and got captain by lvl 9 it wasn't too hard but defiantly not easy, i must've died 100 times from a warrior surprising me, me being afk, getting caught in the mouth of a titan (unless someone helped it was gg) getting sniped by colo and then getting burned every 10 minutes by random fire that doesn't go away
Tried the game and it can be fun but the reset after dying is far too annoying since all that time just goes to complete waist and it's far too hard to level up as a recruit especially since you can get one shot but belly floppers and spinning titans. Also if someone gets attack titan and sucks its game over due to how heavily the game relies on them for many missions. Overall I would say the game is a bad experience which can only occasionally be fun most time just spent grinding a bit and waiting for next match to happen incredibly boring and just frustrating most of the time. Wish they just speed up prgression. Overall rating would be 3.5/10 would not recommend playing rounds take too long, game encourages more passive playstyle due to harsh punishments for dying, horrible pvp system which feels awful to play, and overall just frustrating and a big time waster to play. Would be better if rounds were shorter and progressionbwas faster
He usually just goes on the wall or takes rocks from house rubble, cart titans usually just grab colo so he doesn't get forced or they go looking for supply carts to kill
recommended, its gonna be so cinematic when you go through the stages. what i mean by that is, the game feels so much like how open world games intended their games to be. natural and entertaining. AOT FW does it pretty well

@@fakeninja10no max health then impulse then dodge then both handcuts
@@thecoolchicken1088 ye trueeeee impulse and dodge over handcut 🤑🤑🤑
No don't turn it off because if you've never been a shifter before level 25 your gonna be as shit as a level 15 who got it
This video has gotten me literally OBSESSED with this game. The learning curve is insane
One of the rare aot games with good odm mechanic holyyy
Thanks for pointing this game out, definetly trying it out, i wish more games on roblox put this much love into their games
Thx for this video brother. FW has always been an underrated game. I hope that this video will do revive the game a little!
hi tonio
nice to see other people outside of the community finally making content 🙏🏿
ik this sounds dumb but i was one of the first people to play this back when it dropped, im the first person that joined the discord too, i used to be friends with the owner of this game and am proud to see his project get more recognition 💯
Me and my friends played this game and it actually felt like the show because we went in excepting to do well and all died instantly, but as we played we got better and started to live to the end of the game
i cant believe you tried AOT:FW i love your vids bro keep up the good work
love to see someone make content about this game considering (in my opinion) its the best aot game on roblox
If it wasn't for this video i wouldn't have found this game, so thank you.
The one aot game that looks fun as hell and unique is of course the one i cant play since im on console, and as far as i can tell its unplayable there. Actual pain
I remember why I used to play this game like a year and a half ago. When they didn't update for a month . Does wasted water background

Removed a long time ago, suprised this was included in the video.
6. Have fun! This is my favorite game on Roblox right now
0:26 that titan looked very disturbing I feel very scared now
1:20 to 1:45 was funny just seeing you get beat up over and over
Wow! This game sounds great! I would totally play it! If i had a PC. Guess I'll just stick to Revolution.
U don’t need a pc I play it on my laptop and i have 800+ kills it’s really fun u should go check it out
When you said your just gonna
Become
A titan that’s a nice way to motivate the people to not team up together to not make the game easy for the scouts damn I like games like that
There needs to be thousands playing this game
what yall know abt the original aot freedom war 😭
frr
🧓🧓
I miss the limb loss and blood effects tbh that was the only downgrade from it
Tbh they should add like broken characters like Levi would have a lil less health cuz short but there would be a auto dodge feature for him and he gets aim bot
Everything bro I was playing that shi like there was no tomorrow
finnally aotfw finally gets recognition while aotr takin all the hype
hey gamma glad to see ur here
the enlisted thinking he's him (he got mouthgrabbed by a spinner and someone saved him 1 second too late):
Been hearing great things about this game!!
The odmg is literally the definition of easy to learn, difficult to master. It’s one of the smoothest odmgs I’ve ever seen and this comes from someone who didn’t like it at first.
yeah this game is really good, the dev said he’s feeling burnt out atm so it’ll be a wait until we get another update. i’m soooo cracked at fw btw
"If we rizz all the gyatts across the sea, will we rizz ohio skibidi tax" - Eren tiger122354
I love this game I played ever since there was 3 stages
Aot fw literally makes you feel like how its like to be in the anime, and it always scares me whenever im riding my horse getting chased by a titan specially the shifters
I haven't played roblox in years,
A game with no bs attached was very rare. I usually had to hack or cheat to have any real enjoyment.
Mainly because every game wants you to spin a wheel, make you pay to unlock basic things or most likely has an insane grind which im not tryna do to have fun.
Please tell me you never hacked on some of the actually good games...
@@tranquilclaws8470 If a game doesn't respect my time I'll just hack my way to the top. But for a game like this there's no need, I don't see any crazy grinds or pay to win aspects you can just play without any of the bs.
i have 257 hours on this game and i only had like 25 captains this game is fun only when youre a captain
Finally someone made a video about this hidden gem, I was trying to make a vid on this video too
Yoo ive been looking for a game like this for a while! average gamma W
Nobody mentions this but if your a new player do NOT bring a normal horse on expeditions, bring a supply cart because it goes the same speed as the normal horse but you can refill gas and blades
Attack on Titan revolution could never bro.
This game is peak aot gaming fr
If you plan on making a gameplay vid of this or need others for more content of it please hmu cause I’ve been looking for people to play with vc lmfaoooo great vid 😂
during my first time playing the fog started on stage one and the armored felt bad and saved a few of us
yes, it is hella good now make it moar popular
This was definitely the best AOT game ever, even outside of Roblox I had nothing but fun on this
5:52 Bro.. Thats literally how the scene went!
I've played:
Revolution
UAOT
Evolution
Titan Warfare
AND Freedom War (currently lvl 29)
Let me say, the only downside is that FW is only available on computer.
WE NEED MORE PLAYERS
i hope they update revolution consistently its rlly fun with friends and it has a lot of potential. they have PvP and open world on their update roadmap too.
noo stop telling them to fill up the game it makes it like 10x harder to make a serverrr
@@Nimmy69420 The game should become more popular, it might help the development. Also it deserves to be popular after all the work the developer put in. It will be still very easy to find servers.
I not a skilles aot game but when i started playing aot fw i was doing tutoriak with 20 minutes and died by 1 titans now i can solo atleast 2 titans
glad to see another fw player here
THE TUTORIAL IS FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE, I CANT HIT THE SNAPE, NOT ONCE
just gotta get used to going really fast around the titans
its easy, you just got a skill issue
Hit the eyes first then get the nape
For attempting to hurt snape 4 BILLION points from Grrrrrrriiiiffffffinnnnndooooooorrrrrrrr
Hit the eyes and then hold space bar and slash the nape
Dank, the one who created it, said he wont do S4 unless he gets inspired to do it as his original goal was to create the RTS arc (return to shiganshina) also, Jaw no longer has a choice and must join the scouts now.
He stated he will make season 4 when he wants to, it's just he wants to make his shitty ass new game
i might actually play this
*should
Ye bro imagine gettinf saved becoming good friend with someone but you need betraybto win
Great video dude. I love the fact you talked about this hidden gem :3
1:39 I laughed so hard watching him get launched into space. 😂
Honestly the plane ride offered by Beast Titan airlines is five stars.
Finally a big yt made a vid on this game bro
@@reemshouk680 can i play it in console?
@@elmejornose6763 no since console players can't communicate so the owner disabled it since communication is important for fw if he adds console then it ruins the game since he does not want servers that won't communicate especially if your a warrior it won't work good
1:35 reminds me of that one barrel scene in aot
A wise man once said..
"if we rizz.. all the gyats across the sea.. will we rizz ohio skibidi tax?"
-agent22354
yez!
Damn this game has gotten so many updates
I used to play it while it was more just random stages no shifters and a rogue like
Even then 1 of the best aot games
I ALMOST DIE WHILE EATING SUM BREAD WHEN I SAW THAT THIS VIDEO APPEARED, i never thought bro would play such a master piece imo you could be a pretty good player at that
6:55 holy voice crack
good vid def sold me on the game
YAY SOME ONE POSTING ABOUT THIS GAME
its just.. SO PEAK
I'm really into these attack on titan games so I tried this game and now its kicking me for playing it for 472 hours in 3 weeks, it's just way too fun to not recommend for others.
What a good guy
@@JUST_TONIO thank you🙂 now im gonna play it even more
@@sebastianbuur9865 If you want add me :

yall need to remember that games like project zomboid exists. you are literally meant to die and you still play. same concept here, you play here because of its difficulty
Gamma I was literally BigBoyevil getting eaten 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 at 1:27
I played this game when it was in beta, were you just kill titans, and i was glad to follow this game until this final update. A shame the Developer lost motivation.
Thanks for recruiting more fresh enlisted for me to wipe
cant believe gamma of all ppl made a video on fw
i got the hang of this game at lvl 5 and got captain by lvl 9 it wasn't too hard but defiantly not easy, i must've died 100 times from a warrior surprising me, me being afk, getting caught in the mouth of a titan (unless someone helped it was gg) getting sniped by colo and then getting burned every 10 minutes by random fire that doesn't go away
Great video!❤ btw have you tried AoT Revolutions re-release? AoT and jjk are my favorite anime’s so I love your channel.😊
Tbh revolution is trash
Birdcage mentioned !!
How do u even play birdcage like how do I join the game
just watching this video doubled my heart rate, this game has conditioned me
Tried the game and it can be fun but the reset after dying is far too annoying since all that time just goes to complete waist and it's far too hard to level up as a recruit especially since you can get one shot but belly floppers and spinning titans.
You are just bad lol
I got absolutely one tapped by the colossal titan
I think bro has turtle reaction speed
aint no way
Bro got armined 😭🙏
Collecting rocks for the beast titan to throw does seem pretty fun ngl
He usually just goes on the wall or takes rocks from house rubble, cart titans usually just grab colo so he doesn't get forced or they go looking for supply carts to kill
Damn I might have to play it
recommended, its gonna be so cinematic when you go through the stages. what i mean by that is, the game feels so much like how open world games intended their games to be. natural and entertaining. AOT FW does it pretty well
actually it does not take hours if you blind kill and if your good at the game it takes 2 stages minumum depending on server size ofc
I enjoyed the game so much and even made some videos of it, sadly the game will no longer get new major updates.
Just watching the clips of u dying already hooked me in icl
I was wondering why you're constantly double casting. I get the animations for grappling like that is cool but- that's just chaotic
Forgot to add how it announces to the entire server when you die as a Captain.
not only did you die but the game has to personally embarrass you for no reason
i remember playing this is 2022 bro this brang back memories
wdym addicting im only level 105 i can stop whenever i want 1:47
Fr bro I ONLY have 750 hours like that isn't that much....
I would play it more but i hate the fact that i gotta wait like 5-6 minutes after dying to play the game
Go to another seever
