Sir this updated education system and still people falling for these govt seat traps...
I myself am a gratuate form CET and even with the glory of my collage and pretty much nice cgpa I got a campus placement into a good company but noticed that someone with same experience and work skill from a tire 3, but gratued from the it hubs get more salary(a lot more) than me.
People prefer students who studied in collages in banglore,hyderabad, chennai and coimbatore over others...its not just the location its also the updated and well maintained syllabus. So later I went though the syllabus of a prestigious institution in banglore and found why they choose them over us.Well maintained....revised each year and good curriculum. These collages teach you what you want and more for the next five years where even leaning the Cs syllabus of ktu is still less(too less)
My dear students choose a good collage in any of these places and put keam collages as your second choice(just in case if you don't get into any).....And if you have enough patience and are ready to work a little hard go for repeat...not asking you to do with the regular trend but getting into a good NIT OR IIT is surely worth it....its always an NITan or IITan preferred over any other.
All I wanted to say was KTU is hard and hard for something unnecessary, better choose wise your whole life is upon it.
