When charging quickly, the device will heat up, affecting battery health. I only use 5w charger so after 8 months the 15 pro max battery health is still 100%

Sudden drop of bh = it's not precise at all. I mean, people use the devices for year, year and a half and BH is still at 100%. That's physically not possible, battery would degrade even if they used their phones twice a week
My iPhone 15 Pro Max is still at 100% max 103 cycles. Manufacture date August 2023 First use September 2023

believe it or not, my battery percentage has been the same for almost 4 months now ever since I turned off battery percentage. Prior to what I did, it drained a percent or 2 every month. Noticed this since I bought the device. Sounds very stupid I know.

I know it’s normal for battery health to drop.. but! Since July 3rd it was 97 2 days later 96. Every week it dropped 1 or 2% now August 8th it’s 90% THATS 7! IN 1 MONTH

You’re all paranoid about your battery 🙄 Sad. Just use your phone and enjoy it. Life’s too short.If you’re planning on keeping the iPhone a long time you can get a battery replacement when the health drops to 80% or below and that’s probably gonna be at least two years.It’s as simple as that.

And at that rate it’ll be 2 1/2 years before your phone drops to 80%

I think your battery health is normal. Stop panicking. My iPhone 13 Pro Max dropped to 99% after 60 charge cycles. That phone dropped to 89% after 113 charge cycles and it stayed like that for months and it took like 6 months to drop to 88%. By the time I upgraded up the 15 Pro Max back in February, it was still at 88% after nearly 230 charge cycles. Battery health is just an estimate. If it’s dropping fast on you, then I believe it’s just going to slowly drop later on. My iPhone XR is literally still at 84% after nearly 5 years of moderate use and I still use that phone to this day to play music. The battery life lasts about 3 hours. My iPhone XR dropped to 84% back in August of 2022, which was nearly 2 years ago.

Twice a day and that is why 280 cycles, but that’s it not normal tho. 1000 cycles is 80% battery health and I’m in 280 at 90%

I looked at my iPhone 15 pro this past weekend and I think after downloading battery app to see temperature the iPhone 15 pro health dropped to percent from 100 to 98 percent in less then a week I’m at 252 charging cycles as well I just decided to check it right now and was shocked I never went under 100 percent health since my 11 and 14 iPhones last few years
Mine dropped really fast. Had my 15 pro since Jan 8 and now my health is at 89% and cycles are at 423
It's supposed to suddenly drop after about 97% as the battery health setting isn't completely accurate, and that's why there's a sudden drop to how it should be after that number. The iPhone tends to stay on 100% for a long time before it suddenly starts dropping more regularly and that's obviously because it wasn't accurately reporting thr battery health as it couldn't stay on 100% for months. That's because it takes months for the iPhone to properly calibrate the battery health. There's nothing suddenly wrong with your battery, it's just how iOS calibrates battery health. It takes at least 8 months if regular user for iOS to begin to correctly report battery health. That applies to all Apple devices
Yes, very good and correct answer, users think after 100 and more cycles, battery has 100 % health, this is impossible, iOS needs more time to show real battery health.

Also the environment matters. I live in a city which rarely has temperature below 20 C. Hotter climate deteriorates battery faster.

My 14 Pro was at 90% at about that timeframe then I traded it in for the 15 promax

I’ve had my iPhone 14 Pro Max for 1 year now and I’m down to 83% battery health and only has 399 cycles.
It makes perfect sense according to Apple I had only 118 charge cycles and mine dropped to 97% and I took it into the Apple store and they ran a battery and iphone test and they said it was normal and theres nothing wrong with my battery or phone. I left there F N furious and it dropped 1% when I was waiting for a genius. I ended up selling my 15 pm 256gb for $930 cash and called it a day. Apple products are getting cheaply made now and the batteries they put into these new phones are trash. I went back to my 13 pro max and Im getting same battery life as my 15pm. BS.

173 cycles. 100% since October 6. I don't use the 20W fast charging. I only use the 10W from my ipad and charge it everynight.

My iPhone 15 Pro max 512gb has done 56 cycle count, & is now is at 98% battery health.?! I do play games on it, not for hours…But I do get (Home & Lock Screen) between 90%/100% the time… Is the battery not true as u say, that apple over estimate it.

Don’t worry about battery health guys, battery backup is important it’s just a number enjoy every battery can last up to 3 years at that time if you feel battery backup is not sufficient then replace it. Enjoy my brothers one thing to mention update your phone wisely by checking at least 2 to 3 TH-camrs.
