STABILO aquacolor - watercolor pencils - can they compete with more expensive brands

These watercolor pencils were not what I expected. They dissolved quite well, better than some other brands but they were not so pigmented when I applied water to them. But still, I am happy to have them because I love watercolor pencils that do not leave too harsh lines on the paper :)

I have these and tested them. They look almost pastel, well actually pastel, on a hot press or smooth paper but look darker, more pigmented on a paper with some tooth to it. The more tooth the darker, more pigmented they look.
I just might have to try the Gold Farber, like I need more, lol.

Hahahaha XD it is always the problem that we want to have more. I would love to live in a ln art supply Shop XD...I like the pastel tones of these stabiloaquacolor :) but I will try them on a paper with more tooth :) thank you
