How to repair cracked pottery

A brief do it yourself repair of a chipped or cracked piece of pottery using Sculpey. Sculpey (another brand is Fimo) is a home oven baked clay for making miniatures. As long as your item can withstand a 325 degree (F) oven for 20 minutes… it can be mended!

air drying clay works so much better, you don't have to put it in the oven 😉

I used something called Fimo or another brand is Sculpey. It has to be baked at a low temperature or it will never air dry. The benefit of it is that it can be mixed to match your glazed pottery so you never need paint or a glaze.
