Due to policies of the British Raj, certain communities were cutoff from even basic education. Nehru referring to his own countrymen as second-rate reflects the man's classism. Given that he did nothing to fix India's primary education landscape, he will go down in history as an elitist who wasted his time in office creating more problems than he ever solved.

This was never a farmer vs government battle, this was rich Jaats/Jutt farmer vs poor farmer battle.
The protest was funded by external sources to topple the govt.

One nation one election will be one of the most important decision of modi's third tenure. It doesn't get the attention even from public which it should. It is as important as UCC and other significant agendas as it can completely turn around some of the very basic roots of indian politics as we know.
One nation, one election is a horrible idea, it will lead to neglect of local and state races compared to general elections, which will only increase political polarization.
Of course, the ruling dispensation sees this not as a problem, but as a benefit.

- Move away from the corrupt IPS and IAS system
- Deep reforms in defense procurement. Destroy the import lobby and install the iterative development model for the armed forces and force them to stick to it permanently.
More than moving away from British system, we need more judges and more hearings happening, our judges to cases ratio is the worst in the world. Also gender neutral laws.

@@heroispro4201 We basically need the armed forces to buy Indian designed and manufactured weapons. Especially Army and Air Force. Example the whole Arjun MBT fiasco should be avoided from repeating.
Like China and other major powers, the Indian armed forces use Indian weapons (may not be the most cutting edge). And with feedback from the armed forces, the Indian weapons manufacturers improve the equipment.
This would become a cycle which would create a vast manufacturing ecosystem in India and greatly make India independant from imports.

Those who think Gyanwapi should be more than enough are still delusional about why even one to begin with and it's beyond them to understand there cannot be a limit to it, 40000 or more.

If Modi can influence stranded people from other communities who lost ways living through ten centuries ago from now to get in main stream,he does not need to get beyond Ayodhya,Kashi,Mathura. Rest would come automatically by action of people who just got back. Construction of corridors,revival Mandir eco system, revival of Mandirs in neighborhood of Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and some more would add to efforts of bringing stranded people back.UCC,NRC,abolition of personal boards,laws,Gurukul types of institutions would add on efforts to persuade people to see into reasons of coming back in old fold.However lots of efforts and time would be necessary to be invested in this venture. Let us see how it turns to be. Efforts should continue post Modi time also.we have hopes from Yogi and others for gaining old developed status of country.

Removing caste based reservation is most important. There is no such thing as caste in Hinduism and we have varna system based on occupation. British brought this caste system to India and then politicians continued it for their political gains

How is opposing reservations evil, saying that reservations in service are against merit is a factually correct statement, example one person had more opportunities and because of that was better trained in critical thinking vs someone who did not have access to those opportunities then the former is someone with better training that is simply a fact and if we go by pure merit then should be chosen if the yardstick was critical thinking skills, you are bringing in reservations to even the playing field and that is a perfectly valid point of view to have, but at the same time someone opposing it is also not evil, I mean there are many countries in the world where the downtrodden classes gained better quality of life through industralisation and not through things like reservations.
