I try and stay away from Canola as if bees fill the hive with it it doesn't extract and when crystal they can't or won't eat it and last year in one of my apperies I lost 10 hives over winter as all they had was conola and starved out with a good store of food left

Good afternoon from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
My wife and I have been following you since we got interested in beekeeping. This is our third season starting next month. It has been enjoyable and a learning curve following your adventures. The information and humour is wonderful and informative. Thankyou so much .
What we are wondering is how and when you got into beekeeping.
Yours respectfully Bonnie and Tom P.

Yes we all remember beekeeping 101, or do we. Pick a format and stick to it. Until there's a sale.
I think the club is called the drone a gogo.

    Refreshing dialogue, indeed!
Positives were the cameraman did not get loaded with fault for the stuff up in board numbers.
Negatives were (i) failing to mention that same rule for box depth - buy all one size (ii) that persistence with geriatric technology in Emlock(R) when Bandit(R) supply far superior and more cost effective strapping systems.
0h... and next time buy a tray back (flatbed) so leaving the well style for the beach bugs.

What are these “bandit” straps you talk of that are superior to Emlocks? Interested, can you supply the link. Cheers

Take a photo of the boxes with a large number painted on them (8, 10, 5) that way you'll have a reference to help you remember. I say this as someone with a poor memory!

Know the feeling regarding 8 frame to 10 frame boxes, I ordered 10 frame boxes from Nuplas, then must have had too many sherbets and 6 months later ordered an 8 frame box, live and learn I guess.
