  • Join Mark on the latest episode of "The Bush Bee Man" as he embarks on an adventure to relocate his bees to a new apiary site. Despite the journey taking longer than expected due to optimistic Google Maps predictions, they finally arrive at a picturesque location that promises new foraging opportunities for the bees.
This episode takes us through the process of unloading and setting up the hives in their new environment, exploring the practicalities and challenges of migratory beekeeping.
Along the way, discover the Bush Bee Man's innovative solutions to unexpected problems, such as a malfunctioning lifter, and his commitment to maintaining bee health through inspections for diseases such as American Foulbrood (AFB) and European Foulbrood (EFB).

Love the sound of the European bee house on wheels, they look great, easy to move, easy to care for your bees and some look really bright and cheerful

So, I'm bee following your antics for years. You seem to have smaller two deep colonies. Here where I live is SW Ohio, US., I do four plus high deeps each. Tons of feed. So do your smallers mean you collect a frame or two each?

What happened to the crane truck from a few years ago? Or was the size/poor fuel economy of that not worth driving for this trip?

I tried the hesian but didnt like it, seemed to leave a nasty sticky residue in the smoker, i now use a pressed cardboard quad cup holder from the coffee shop, broken up and smokes for about 40 minutes, plenty good enough for my 2 hives
    Cheers

I was surprised to see a video from Mark again as the last thing I read in the "community" section of the channel was that he was giving it all up and shutting shop which really did have me bummed out. That was 3 months ago but it seems theres been a lot released since then. So I am unsure if they are rehashing old footage or have started anew 🤔

I always think it’s funny when the Aussies thank the brits/Europeans for bring all those invasive plants etc. you need to thank yourselves and your ancestors, you took it all with you, including your honey bees. Great video as always 👍🏻
