This game went from 30+ devs to less than 3 due to funding. It’s hard for a game to keep up with these updates we all want when there’s no one there to actually do the work. We were led to believe that Rogue would get taken care of during the important turning point of the population and when it didn’t, the population left exposing more and more issues in Rogue. It’s definitely sad to see because Rogue is a great game when it had a full dev team but it’s hard to be motivated for sure 👏🏻 thank you for the vid Brad! ♥️
also another one of the best creators and well said gummy! - rogue i think not only was a great game, it also connected people. i think a lot of friendships spawned from the game even to this day, but one thing that hasnt left - is the passions the fans have for it. is this shared by the company, probably not, but that of course is speculative. one thing for sure keep up the hard work with the community highlights i think its amazing the lengths you go to to support this game. and also happy new year to you gummy.
Along w having almost no more devs still working on the game, on top of that, the games been out for what? 5 years now? I loved this game when it first dropped, even in beta. But w the server issues and a lower player count even tho it's a free title is rough. Ranked is what kept me playing and last i played, i could barely get a ranked game anymore

At this point, I just wish a major gaming studio like Riot or Epic would just step in and buy the rights to Rogue. Hi Rez has been great at times, so whether it’s because of funding or they simply just don’t care any more, like you said it just seems like they stopped putting effort into this game.
it does feel that way considering what a good first year we had with the game, it feels like since the studios merged too rogue company has fallen off their radar
Something like a big studio buying the game is the only thing that could save it now imo. Although obv the odds of that are incredibly unlikely
Whats sad is i still play this game almost every day. The players are still getting better. We just need something to play for. We havent had a decent update since juke came out and even that was lackluster..

i have on and off moments with rogue sometimes i feel addicted especially when i made montages but sometimes it feels underwhelming with the lack of new content and toxic players i play against who say i hack etc. but the foundations of this game is perfect i’ve been playing since 2021 and the 3rd person aspect makes roco unique as well as the swapping shoulders and mobility 2024 could genuinely be rocos year if the game is marketed and improved properly. also brad you were the one who made me play rogue fully after seeing the game on a top 25 switch games list and you were the main guy and still are so keep it up
as a long time fan of this game i was surprised how this game was not popular like this game is so underrated
That's funny, I literally picked this game back up yesterday and stumbled across this. I'm lost with some of the new maps/rogues since it's been at least a year or more since I last played, but it's still fun! I hope you're right and it stays alive, and hopefully I can add to the player count with some friends.

Honestly, this game could have been Valorant type of hype if Hirez kept their efforts to improve it.
It's sad that it's a 'could have been great game' compared to its current state.
Regardless though Im still going back to it on a daily cause it's still fun despite the issues it has
yeah i enjoyed playing rogue despite its issues coming back it felt like a game i coudl easily sink loads more hours in to.
RoCo is one of those games where for alot of people it was a Gem in the rough, now it's just a rough gem, the team at Hi Rez gotta pull some sort PR stunt to get the funding and get somwhat of a solid team instead of just a few very passionate devs holding this game afloat, then and only then we can talk about improving the game cause atm most things they do as "improvements" ends with tripping themselfs up
i still believe its a gem in rough.

Reading these comments and hearing what the community feels, i know resonates with all of us mostly. Jay nailed it with what he was saying. Cliche but so true,. WE NEED TO UNITE. Everyone in the community that isn't trolling or being a d'ck head lol. People want somthing new, we can give it to them. Like yesterdays tounry by thief. More people were online and tuning in to watch then in the last 6+months. We give the devs somthing to see, or another company that want to pick this game up from them to work on! alright thats about all i have to say
exactly this was a pleasure to see what thief and co managed to pull off and i for one am all for it! i just wish they would see what an amazing game they truly have,
i want to see a large scale open world 'dmz' mode in rogue company, give players option to do co op matches. It would be a great feature to have players team up and do horde survival.

Still try to play this game at least 3 times a week just because I genuinely love this game and no other 3rd person shooter hits like this, I would love if highrez brought this game back or even just made a rogue company 2 and just transfer everything over kinda like overwatch did. Whats crazy about this game to is they have an amazing base game if they just kept up with it genuinely this game has potential to be in like e sports, they have so much to fix and so much to add they really have an open canvas with this game and I feel like it wouldn’t be that hard to make this a top game. It is all very disappointing for the game and I doubt it will ever make a comeback, but I pray it does

Switchblade is my main 🗡️💣💥☠️🩷 I love Rouge Company. I wish it got more of the support and attention it needs and deserves. A Battle Royale mode would be absolutely amazing. Maybe some story or lore content like cut scenes or anything. More modes and maps. Deeper and more extravagant events. A social space for more connectivity and community. More customization than it already has for even more personalization. This game has SOO MUCH potential but they just continue to go nowhere with it. It's extremely frustrating and sad. Meanwhile COD gets everything.
me and my friends used to play rogue company so much, and we just recently started playing it again and its honestly been pretty fun but I wish/hope hi-rez would just try to do more with this game

I wish rogue company would make a comeback. And if it’s too late for this game… I’d rather the company sell it to a better publisher like Epic so the game can get the attention it deserves. Wouldn’t it be great to get a Rogue Company 2 with a full fledged Jackal vs Rogues story mode? Better mechanics, all the same rogues and more? I’m in love with the characters and the game and the lore that I can’t leave. If I try, I keep coming back. I’m even trying to make my own custom action figures of default ronin, vigilante Dallas, and maybe more

First of all Brad, THANK YOU for being one of our beloved games most dedicated and loyal partners because only god knows how much support this game really has! This game has die hard supporters/players like you and myself and everyone here in the comments. But we’d be lying to ourselves if we said that the game is ok in it’s current state. It definitely isn’t. But we’re still here holding on so hard and it is absolutely exhausting!!
Rogue company has been and still is at least for me one of the best games I’ve ever played and been addicted to, without shame. We love this game, we want this game to succeed like it’s family, we try our best but hey. What else can we do? There’s not too much else we can say or do now, the writing is on the wall

i just downloaded this game 3 days ago and it was really really good, i stayed up playing it, i currenly have 8k reputation but im shocked that a lot of people have actually quit this game lol im so late-
the event pass time, is removed because they were too lazy to reset the timer. you can still see how long the season goes on for in seasonal challenges.
shame to hear to be honest.
They removed it from the battlepass because no one knows when the season will really end, they just didn’t realize to remove it from the contracts menu

I played this on Switch. The fact that TDM wasn't on it was bad. I hate doing either S&D or elimination. That, and I had a match where a toxic player was giving away our location. That was like two years ago. Haven't thought about it until I watch a Cr1tikal video about O2 oday.
I am definitely gonna play this game from time to time but I really want to grind for something other than just reputations for rogue chests

I’ve never had issues with rouge . No glitches no where close to under 200 fps . Non toxic and fun asf . No cheaters as well
this game it really good game coz its friendly budget pc requirement but onething i complain about this game the matchmaking sometimes too long to match idk in other server coz we are asian player
Hmm... Well, question... as a partner do you get to contact developers or so? All I wished and have waited for months now for the ranked to be reset really... I don't care about anything else we can tolerate the rest. I think since the studio has changed we're lacking communication :( that's unfortunate. We're waiting for the comeback of RoCo.

rogue is such a top tier game but they just dont care about it and it shows. me and my buddies returned about about 3 months ago and its the exact same game when we started 3 months ago
I just started playing the other week. Insane skill gap in the game, can’t deny that, but it’s still fun when I’m queued up with my buddies. Am I carried? Yes. Do I get pissed? Yes. Do I still get better and have fun? Also yes.

Played this with a squad of 3 others for the first time today and noticed the servers were slow and ended up here. It seems like it would be fun to play, but match making didn’t make it that way 😂 everyone is just 2 good

I love this game, but they need to innovate or do more marketing to get the player base up. And for whatever reason i couldn’t get my friends to like this game. So maybe trying some new game modes

i still play this game. it can roll to evade like uncharted (not many games have this feature) and shoulder swap and the graphics is awesome
Love the shoulder swap feature goes under the radar but you notice it so much when other third person shooters don’t have it

Give it download! It still is very much of the same product you would of played! which don’t get me wrong is super fun! It’s just one of them things unless you have a reason to play such as ranked or levelling characters there isn’t much else

bro i remember paying for the closed beta and using double sniper on phantom it's terrible what happened to the game first the forced cross play on console the servers and then Hi-Rez straight up firing the original devs then kinda forcing evil mojo to take hold of the game
Game is good by itself, although lack of updates etc is killing it. It barely gets any new maps, yet they keep taking away maps in game modes like demo. I can’t for the life of me understand the logic at this studio.
as someone that played this game A LOT i would say it has never been worth playing but especially now in 2024 yeah do not try to get into it i quit a few updates ago first the change to smgs that made them just feel shit made me wanna play less as a gl1tch main then they changed all of his perks and removed basically every good perk he had or lowered their rarity and that was when i decided to fully quit the game
paladins is a different story though i hope and pray everyday that paladins makes a comeback i love rogue and paladins equally but paladins didnt ruin my favorite character 😠
The servers have gotten so bad it seems like every game lags. I feel as though this game could be such a good game.
I just watched ure other vid from today and I agree with you on most things. Rogue company is a great game and I love it from the bottom of my heart but the playerbase sadly isnt big enough to keep the game alive. Ive always tried to get new players to the game, but most of them didnt stay. If the playerbase and the dev team grows there is hope but if not i think the game is gonna die in less than a year.

I don't play online even if they brought Canal 2 unless they force me to complete quickplay for reputations in weeklies as you know PVP is filled with cheaters and throwers. I'm satisfied with contracts based A.I. mode that keeps me with the game till now. But if they had bot lobbies like fortnite, it'd have been more fun to play all online modes. Imo, if they add a zombie mode, or a boss mode it would be hella lot fun than ever by letting us earn lot of reputations and even some rogue bucks. I wonder why RoCo would be alive, if devs can't even put new season on time.
Apparently ranked is nonexistent now that i am able to lol. The queue so long. And the cheaters are mad obvious in regular play
I enjoy the game still well, but I have a problem with it because they are not really doing anything major to promote the game and so 90% of games are full of bots and I'm not good enough to play ranked so I am stuck playing against robots every day.

I have sadly moved on to other games. Will say that Rogue Company was the best TPS competitive shooter I have ever played since Gears of War III Mind you, (I mainly only played ranked Demolition). No joke. Hopefully, some other game takes that place.

I love the shit out of Rogue Company, honestly it's my favourite online game of all time, but there were too many issues for me to continue playing. I left 4-5 months ago. Management of this game sucked so fu**ing hard and that's why it failed.

I remember when I first started like it was yesterday hi-rez partner up with Mr beast and I watched it and at the time I was just playing the same game over and over and got bored so I said let’s try something new it’s free and sounds fun I got it and I was addicted I played so much that I’m lev 505 right now but I’ve last played it months ago since the lags and no new updates

well tbh hi rez has smite its greatest game and smite 2 is coming out in the future soon with beta being released soon and paladins so makes since it wont be that great anymore with its resources being shared between multiple projects.

its not really that good at loading in because i use epic games to lunch it and it wont even work or if it dose when i load into a mach it laggs out and i have a good pc and i played back then when the game almost first came out

Good game for those who want abit of fun playing casually, ranked has gone to shit though same players, people can leave without penalty, points deducted even when they leave, Que takes forever then once matched people leave without the match even starting so have to que again then same person joins and leaves again, you can literally pick the map and the players you wish to play with just by leaving and rejoining and not being penalised, if the developers cant even fix that the games got bo hope 😂

I warned everyone when the game first came out they were gonna kill it. Highrez cares about nothing other than smite. They had the best thing ever and each update ruined it and created more issues and nonsense. And it suxks I been here since the beta and I left like 6 months ago. If this game was in anyone else’s hands it would be unstoppable rn. They cared more about what was in the item shop than fixing the core issues and overtime there was just way to many to keep up where they basically just said f it

Me and a group of trophy hunters, new to the game, are grinding on practice mode to get 100 wins and play for 25 hours for the platinum trophy. I admit the gameplay is amazing but there's no real incentive for me to casually play the game. Great graphics and gameplay, but terrible battle pass and ranked matches for casuals. This game will be uninstalled as soon as I get my trophy. Hopefully the game gets better so I can install it once it gains better support.

its a shame for real! i think the fans have so much passion, and it can feel sometimes, that us players care so much more than they do! which is sad, as i do genuinely believe this game could be the best third person tactical shooter ever made.

yeah not going to lie i have played all of abt 40 games and i just think its bad and i know its a jump but it just is the games are boring the character's are boring the loop is boring then for them to just add battle pass for money is a joke idk it might get better but it would have to have a complete face lift for it to potentially get a fair player base but having 90% hackers or bots is just not on and not acceptable from my point of view i do hope it gets better but might just be thrown to the bin where it belongs
